Is there any hope for me to get the "The Prestige" trophy?

I got the game with PS Plus years ago, completed all the trophies but the Raid one, because a friend of mine found a 6 members squad totally random and got the trophy without me (at the time the trophy required to complete The Leviathan), then he started to play with them with the DLC, but I didn't want to pay for the DLCs so I got left away; sometime I see that the trophy changes, is it now more easy? Can I do that Solo? Will it change again? It's 3 years I'm at 92% completition and I just need that trophy for the plat?

The prestige is now just to complete a grandmaster nightfall (challenging but not impossible). It pretty much needs to be done with two others which can be easily found using the destiny app. The big problem is that currently you need to be at least 1345 to do it which takes quite a bit of time to get leveled up to. But the new expansion is coming out in about a month and levels will reset. So if you haven't been playing in a while it would be best to pick it up after Feb 22 again.

If you're asking those questions, then you absolutely haven't done any research at all regarding the new trophy requirements. Doing a Grandmaster Nightfall is probably one of the least soloable activities in the game. The requirements for this trophy have now changed 2 times, each time making it more difficult than the previous requirement.

Here is a post with some useful info:

As well as the original thread when the requirements changed which might have some useful info in it too:

If you LFG and find a decent team it's not too bad. Starting the week of January 25th until Feb 1st the nightfall is Devil's Lair which is one of the easiest GMs out there. On February 15th it will be Lake of Shadows which is arguably the easiest GM out there. If you haven't played at all this season you won't be levelled enough to do any of these however...

If you aren't levelled you might want to pickup and start playing again on February 22nd when the new season starts. Look out for Devil's Lair, Lake of Shadow , Arms Dealer, Inverted Spire , Warden of Nothing and The Disgraced are all on the lower end of the difficulty spectrum

It depends on which strikes Bungie is gonna put in next season in grandmaster list but even if you go for easiest it's not easy it's not something that casual D2 player can complete it's activity made only for top tier D2 players. I've been seeing this ever since they replaced raid for strike people thinks it's much easier now some even brave to think they can do it solo. I helped few to get that trophy and it took weeks just to get them ready and days in order to get them to complete one. You die super fast most enemies can one shot you, every enemy is tanky as fuck especially champions if all of you die you go straight back to orbit and have to start over, you have limited revives, and after 45 minutes you'll lose all revives making each death permanent. I've carried no experienced players with shitty gear through raids easier than this. Easiest grandmaster is much harder then anything else you'll experience in that game.

On one hand, it's definitely easier. A grandmaster version of the easier strikes will take you far less effort then Prestige Levi, especially considering that every player had to participate in the Prestige version of Levi for basically every step.

On the other hand, the fact that there is a pretty significant minimum light level for being able to get into the grandmaster nightfall is where it gets a bit more obnoxious. You'll basically get near max light gear by the time you can even get in. If you just want to do pinnacles each week though once you get to that point, that's all you'll really need to do and you don't have to play the rest of the week.

The easy grandmaster nightfalls are luckily pretty simple once it comes down it. Make sure to have the champion mods and don't play like an idiot. You don't have to do well, you just have to finish it. Use basic logic, abuse your abilities, use a smart armor exotic, don't be afraid to use your super to clear multiple champions (Thundercrash Titan go brrrrr), be smart with handling match game, etc.

When you break it down like that then it is easier, no mechanics to worry about and you only need 3 players instead of 6 but again I would argue that if someone isn't capable of holding it's own in raid, prestige or normal one they got no place in grandmaster and you're in it for a really hard time. Last player I carried he was new to D2, once he reached level cap and needed pinnacles I took him to master empire hunt, only then he realised the gravity of situation and the work he needs to put in to get specific exotics and God roll weapons. One thing is to kill champion in seasonal activity, completely different story when you need to kill it in grandmaster. If they are the last one alive and need a kill on champion to get revive token which will most likely happen often if they can't keep their cool, count bullets in between weapon swapping and precisely timed reloads in order to kill either barrier or overload they're fucked, by the time they reload their weapon champion will heal itself and if it's overload teleporting all over the place they got no chance and that is if that champion is alone if there isn't another one around or ads making your life miserable. And if you run into barrier servitor with escort ads he is making immune, good luck to them with that one. I stopped D2 couple months ago so I'm not aware if they changed anything but there was no at any point a grandmaster where you could melt down a champion with a single super without support of other 2 teammates, and I played grandmaster each season and have conquerer seal in 2 seasons and I would always suggest defensive super.

You didnt have to do the entire raid, just the last part. You could've joined someone who had a Calus checkpoint  and still gotten the trophy both on normal, prestige, and last wish

Yeah that too as well, we use to give checkpoints to other teams but again the raid in it's entirety is easier the grandmaster in my opinion.

True, though I would still consider Prestige Calus harder than half of the GM nightfalls.
