Danyy___85
Sooooooooo, here goes. Long story short, i played 2 JRPG's back on PS3 in another account and they were FFXIII (finished it and liked it) and Atelier Totori wich i haven't finished that one i didn't quite enjoy it. Then on this account, i barely have any Jrpg's, but have quite some RPG's there, the western ones and all the souls series, bloodborne and the recent one, Elden Ring. I Still need to play Sekiro. All those games i have the Platinum, just don't have for the Original PS3 Demon's souls. A good friend lended to me Tales of Berseria to play. That's when it started, i actually enjoyed the game. Then i looked into Persona when i was searching for JRPG's to play. I bought Royal on lauch, loved the heck out of the game. Then i played Perosna 3 FES on PS3. Then again a friend talked to me about the "best" FF ever, FF7 original. It was dificult to get used to the grafics but quite enjoyed the story. Then i got myself a VITA for P4G and damn... WHAT A GAME! One of the best experiences i had in gaming, i loved the game! I wish i had a memory whipe for the upcoming PS4 release. But now to business. I went ahed of myself and bought some JRPG's to play, the FFXIII trilogy on PS3 and also Tales of Xillia on PS3 and Vesperia on PS4 being regarded as one of the best Tales of Games. And Arise will come in the future. Another series that i came across was The legend of heroes... many people with high regards towards these games, high reviews and then i also went to see and gave me Persona vibes. Searched the heck out of these games and we "only" have Trails of Cold Steel quadroligy and Trails from Zero. The Sky triology is still only on PSP and PS3 in Japan. And we don't know if ever will come west. But Still, i will start with The Cold Steel Quadroligy. Actually from what i saw, i should play Cold steel 1 and 2, and then Zero and Azure (still to come out) and Steel 3 and 4... In this order. Can someone say if i should do this or not? And again, sorry for the long read, i wante to know more JRPG series for PS3/PS4 that is should also know about. Since i am in a JRPG freezy right now ahahah Thanks In advance!
mackenzie129
Yakuza like a dragon was great Digimon cyber duology was good, lots of talking though could be boring at points. The Neptunia games are fairly fun lots of meta humor. Soul hackers 2 is pretty good if you're a persona/SMT fan. Phlegeth
Cold Steel 1 is a good starting point. It's mostly self contained. Cold Steel 2 is too, up until the last little bit. But still fine to play. But yea, Zero, Azure, CS 3 and 4 are very connected. Cold Steel 4 especially. Like I've only played the Cold Steel games. And after Azure comes out, I'm planning on replaying Cold Steel. I came over to Trails from playing Ys, which I highly recommend. And Tokyo Xanadu, which is like a marriage of Trails and Ys.

Z1MZUM
The earlier Sky games are all on Steam for PC if you really want to try them. You may like the "Star Ocean" games as well.
Rozalia1
Always nice when you have this sort of thing happen. My suggestions for you to look into below: Caligula Effect Overdose & 2 Zanki Zero: Last Beginning Cosmic Star Heroine Death end re;Quest 1 & 2 Lost Dimension Would be my suggestions. I'd also say that you should give the Atelier series another chance also if your issues were the time limit as the more recent ones all take out that aspect. I personally enjoyed the time limit and being able to be as effective as possible with my day usage, but I know it is an issue for a lot of people. Caligula have the second game from what i saw, i didn't like Overdose but the second i really liked what i saw so i bought the sequel. Cosmic Star will look into it Lost Dimension well... Expensive has hell, i like Physical, but you never know. Death and Re;Quest well... They looked okayish to me. Well since i am going to dive deep into the Trails of games, i have all the Cold Steel saga for the PS4. Playing the Sky on PC. Blue Reflection Second light Dragon Quest XI S Nights of Azure 2 also have them. This last one i admit, the pervy stuff got to me a bit too ahahahah The Atelier series, lots of games, maybe in the future i will dive into the Rysa because it's the most well known and talked about. Thanks guys for the recomendations! I already have quite a few games to play and now i need to play them before i actually buy anything else!
