If you are in the US or can use a VPN to appear like you're from the US, you can usually get a match going on the weekend, especially around midnight GMT. I had to stay up till 1/2AM at the weekend and join a session - each leader of the party was from the US and we had 16 of us in 4 teams. As someone said above the best time to play is weekends and try to have a host in your lobby from the US for best chance of finding a game. We found a match within 5 minutes every time.
