Yes, you have to reunite the shard on the Fran death path.

For a bad ending i need

Skateboard rating 50% and less
All relationship 50% and less 

The one with the less % will die, correct me if im wrong


Because right now i've some ending that don't add up.......

Anu/Fran 26%
Anu/Oct 65%

Oct/Fran 76%

Octavio died 
 

Skateboard score 60%
Anu/Fran 26%

Neutral ending 

Both with reuniting the shard

I hate this goddamn platinum

when trying for new buisness i replayed episode 5 and octavio death (had good ending with 78%) before so trying a complete restart as per commander cliffs guide.

1st in guide episode 1 sweet but careless is the left option not the right

2nd wanted to check episode 4 why fail qte and why kill keeper   how does this increase skateboard rating,it makes no sence to fail qte and the keeper would die at the hands of the soldiers anyway

Thanks I fixed the sweet but careless typo. 

As for failing the QTE, not sure why the guides I used as a basis had some of these fail. I could see if it's lower the relationship between two of the characters when trying to get those low but New Business is trying to get them all high. Going on a limb here since it's been several months since I played. Was failing the QTE so that you didn't attempt to kill the Keeper? I'm just wondering if even if it didn't come up or get discussed by the characters that you attempted to kill the keeper, the % might go down by trying to be violent vs. passive.

So was able to get the plat today following this guide with the following:

 

-First playthrough followed this guide and got Best Friends trophy.

-Replayed last chapter for Anu death ending

-Replayed chapter 5 for neutral ending, got best ending instead

-Replayed chapter 5 and got Octavio death ending first try

-Replayed chapter 5 for Fran ending and got best ending instead

-Replayed chapters 4 and 5 for Fran ending and got it

-Replayed chapters 4 and 5 for neutral ending and finally got it!

 

I also failed some additional QTE’s on the neutral playthrough to make sure I was closer to 50%.  Really glad to be done with this one!

Nice! Sounds like you sailed right through and with minimal back up and progress only having to go back to 4 when that didn't work for me. This is a good one to NEVER think about again!

I have 100% terrible games, I have 100% horrible and shitty games...
But this, this unfunny piece of trash with unskipabble cutscenes and dialoge ii so unbearable that I can't stand it one bit, it was bad enoughgetting 91%
If I could understand wtf is going on with the endings I might have tried harder getting this platinum

I miss two of the bad ending for platinum (Octavio and Fran need to die). 

 

I definitely have the same problem like some other players here before. 

I got the good ending with 82 skateboard rating more or less by accident on my third try. 

 

Since then I have replayed the full last episode like 4 or 5 times. Every time I used different options and tried to fail every QTE that is possible. 

 

It really doesn't matter what I do. At the end I always get a raking of 82 even if I play as bad as possible. This triggers the good ending over and over again. 

 

What I also tried, is deleting the ingame saves completely and started right at the beginning of episode 5. The game says that the choices of the episodes before will be randomly generated then. 

But again. Although the game regenerated all my choices from earlier chapters, I still stuck at 82 points. I can confirm that this does not help at all. 

 

This must be some kind of bug. I really don't want to start over completely and then again get 82 in the final screen. It's a big waste of time. 

 

Can ANYONE confirm that there is a method to lower the skateboard rank ever again? 

 

Well I could try to delete the whole save data, but then I have to get all 5 endings again. And I have no idea how to avoid that behavior in a new run.

I am now able to answer my own question from above, because I gave it a last try. 

 

If you get stuck at a rating over 80, no matter what you do, and always get the good ending, you can start completely over in a new game. 

 

I was able to get a rating lower than 80 and unlocked Frans death.

 

If anyone only missed Frans death, this should help.

I followed the guide in the OP for neutral ending and got it, thank you for putting this together. Really annoying that I had to do 3 full playthroughs plus a few more of Ch. 4 and 5 to get this plat

I've used this guide to the T and still the neutral ending won't pop, once it gets to chapter 5 where my friends are in danger option. It's not there on any of the 4 plays I've done

It depends. Personally I ended up with 82% and best ending. I had 75% at the end of episode 3 so I started again from episode 4 a d managed to drop the rating to 24%. So it's doable and I m pretty sure that you can get the rest of the endings by replaying the last 2 episodes.

So after finally getting the platinum i want to share my experience so i can save anyone from doing full playthroughs in the future. I played the PS4 version. First i followed the embedded video guide and got 82% Skateboard and perfect ending (everyone and LOU13 survived).

 

Then i just replayed the last chapter of episode 5, on the perfect ending save file, and just chose to go for the shard and, as a result, Anu died. 

 

Then because i was missing a Vaultlander, i replayed a previous chapter. On the same save i started Episode 5 with predetermined choices. I made sure to keep the score low, but not to low, by failing QTE'S and choose some bad and good choices. I ended up with 58% and neutral ending (everyone but LOU13 Survived). I did that 2 times so it seems consistent. 

 

Then the nightmare begun. After 5 or 6 hours of replaying the last chapter and getting the same endings, i noticed that, on my perfect save file, following the video guide, on episode 3, my score was 75%. I decided to replay from episode 4 and made the worst possible decisions. I followed the quoted message for this. At the end of episode 4 my score plummeted to 27%. Then i continued to follow the text until i reached the final chapter of episode 5.

 

There i managed to get both Octavio's and Fran's Death just by playing the last chapter of episode 5. First i merged with the crystal, reached for Anu and got the Octavio death. Then i replayed the chapter and chose to reject it for one main reason: i wanted to increase the anu/octavio relation by answering yes when asked for eridium. In the end i got the Fran's death ending and the platinum. 

 

So i can confirm that you don't need more that one full playthroughs. You can replay from episode 4, which contains major decisions that affect the total score. I'm possitive that the overall % of each relation doesn't have the impact we think of who is gonna die. Just by going for the shard, Anu died and Octavio died although his relatioship with Anu was over 50%. Only Fran died having both the relation with anu and actavio lower than the relation of anu and octavio. So to sum up:

 

1) Follow the video guide for perfect ending.

2) Replay last chapter on perfect ending file, merge with the shard and go for the shard to kill Anu (nothing else seems to matter)

3) Replay episode 5 on blank save spot with predetermined choices and try to keep the score in between 50% and 74%. This can be done by failing most of the QTE's and making a mixture of good and bad decisions. This will net you the neutral ending.

4) On the perfect ending file, replay from Episode 4, by following the quoted text, until you reach the final confrontation. Choose merge and reach for Anu for Octavio's Death. Finally replay last chapter, choose reject, answer yes when asked for eridium for Fran's Death.

I know you are trying to get to lower than 50% on Anu / Oct so maybe you just had a high percent from chapter 4? WORSE case scenario you could try Episode 4 and 5 using this text guide. I don't see how you couldn't get a dead Oct doing this:

 

Complete all OTEs unless otherwise told to fail it. 

Episode 4

At the start of episode 4, Fail the QTE in punching the coffin, choose the options, top option- hang up, Fail the next 4 QTE’s, left option- i like punching stuff, fail the first and third QTE and then choose scalpel.

When Octavio and Anu are back in the newly bought frogurt shop choose the options, bottom option- global-compu-core, right option twice- granite counter and state of the art security system, fail the first 2 QTE’s.

When Fran comes back to the shop with Fergus choose the options, right option- behold sexiness, bottom option- observe the butt, left option- i didn't screw up. 

When brock the gun shows up, choose the options, right option twice- you’re pissing me off and kill brock, top option- get back, right option- you don't understand, fail the QTE, left option twice- or i’ll get angry and bad security, bottom option- a little yes a little no.

When you are at the angel investors place, choose the options, bottom option- who’s going to be there, right option- he isn't one of us.

As Octavio at the VIP party choose the options, bottom option- in your face, left option- Booze.

As Anu in the research room, choose the left option- state of the art.

As Fran in another new frogurt shop, choose the options, bottom option- i’ve never boned anu, right option- mecha centripidal force typhoon, bottom option twice- aquarium, and weirdly aroused, right option- im in.

Back to Octavio in the VIP party choose the options, left option twice- they both say yes.

Back to Anu in the research room, choose the bottom option- let the experiment begin.

Back to Octavio, choose the bottom option- celebrate.

As Fran make sure you lose to the badass superfan at vaultlanders, fail the second QTE, then choose the bottom option- give me a go.

As Octavio locked up by Anu- choose the options, the left option twice- we are VVVIP and you don't get it, top option- you’re not so tough.

When Susan turns up fail the next 2 QTE’s, Choose the top option twice- come and get it and panic.

At the conference with all the other CEO of the main corporations, choose the options, right option- someone stop her, top option- let us go, fail the QTE, top option- you will pay for this, fail the next 4 QTE’s. 

 

Episode 5

In episode 5 as anu as a jabber pick the following options, top option- panic, fail the QTE, top option- I was staring failure in the face, left option- I thought I was screwed, bottom option- try to tackle spirit, top option- I need to stop Susan. 

In the dream realm choose the top option- so you’re a parasite.

As Octavio in jail, choose the options, top option- the silent option, left option- being stupid, bottom option- i’m not very important. 

As Fran is being escorted to her execution, choose the options, top option twice- mouth fart and you’re gonna die, fail the QTE.

Back to Octavio in the cell, choose the options, bottom right- totally bro, right option- you monster, left option twice- susan wants me alive and i’m in charge. 

Back to Fran on her execution choose the options, top option- no our sexual tension, left option- susan is still alive, right option twice- tediore is going to rule the galaxy and and my temper, fail the 2nd, 3rd and 4th QTE’s. 

As Anu in Octavio’s body choose the options, top option- panic, bottom option twice- protective and he was being immature, left option- his friends were here, top option- to be seen. 

As Fran in the retro 16 bit battle, pick the options, 4th option- anger kicks ass, run, item, first option- anger kicks ass and fail the next 2 QTE’s.

As Octavio holding himself hostage against the 2 soldiers, choose the options, top option- mad dog them, bottom option- i want a compliment.

After the soldiers you bump into Bivington Bradwick choose the bottom option- vengeful?, left option- shoot him.

When Fran and Octavio are in Susan's office, fail the QTE, choose the right option- release the hostage.

As Anu at the end of the dream sequence fail the QTE.

When Fran and Octavio find Anu choose the right option 4 times- you’re not stopping me, protect Anu, I'm definitely me and we have to stop susan.

On the way to stop Susan and her plan choose the options, bottom option- you’re in charge, right option twice- i’ll finish it and title of our sex tape?, fail the next 6 QTE’s, right option three times- it’s an alien in your body, you’re too far gone and keep fighting, 

In the final confrontation against susan, fail the QTE, choose the options, left option- reunite the shard, top option- this will hurt, right option- you’re killing it, left option- i don’t need guns, fail the QTE, left option- i swear i killed someone, right option- always talk louder, top option- the hermes, fail the QTE, left option- 5ish i lost count, fail the QTE, left option- atlas, left option- saving Octavio from the streets, right option- you loved me, left option- reach for the shard.

During the bad ending with Anu not surviving pick the bottom option- i don't even like frogurt.

Restart the last chapter 6 of episode 5, choose the following options- right option- reject the shard, bottom option- i hope this hurts, right option- no, bottom option- im a badass, top option- fake panic.

During the bad ending with Octavio not surviving, pick the left option- it doesn't get easier.

Tengo un problema con este odioso trofeo.

Creo que he visto todos los finales y no me salta el trofeo. desde un save obtuve 3 finales ( octavio muere, anu muere y el final neutral).

de otro save obtuve el final de Fran muere.

De otro salvo más obtuve el trofeo que todos viven.

Aún así no me salta el trofeo. ¿Cuándo salta el trofeo exactamente? ¿Cuándo pasan los créditos y entra al menú principal o cuando se inician los créditos?

Tengo dudas con respecto al final neutro (a mi me aparece un video con Octavio y Loui muertos, pero realmente hago todo lo necesario para que salga el final neutro. ¿Lo estoy haciendo mal?

El trofeo salta si coge los finales diferentes de diferentes saves? O tiene que ser todo desde 1 save  e ir rejugandolo?.

si en algo estoy fallando, estoy seguro que es el final neutro. (ya que creo que cuando lo consigo me muere Octavia y al lado de la tumba de Octavio aparece la tumba de Loui). No se como hacer para que SOLO muera Loui ( y el resto sobrevivan).

podría hacer desde el save que utilizo para los finales de muerte de Anu y Octavio sacar el neutral? Es desde el que lo estoy intentando pero no me sale.
