Popular Post Shadowed_31
Hi there,I have only become an active member of the forums for a few days now, but I have been using the trophy database features for almost a year now. Outstanding job btw! I figure I can contribute to further its awesomness with a few suggestions When I host gaming sessions, I always attempt to optimize the trophy hunting for everyone in the session; I try planning a boosting path that will : a ) Achieve all targeted trophies in the least time possible. b ) Focus on the trophies that the majority have not achieved yet In order to do so, I always keep myself aware which trophies everyone has.As it stands, the Gaming Session page only tells you the sum of each players trophies, which does not really help in finding which particular ones they are after. Suggestion : Implement a "Compare" button that will either pop up a window or load a different page that will display a matrix of all the session's targeted trophies and its players as columns. Example - Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Gaming Session: Shadowed_31 MEGATRONLEARDER thejoke123 The Living Dead x x Choose a Side x Hold! x Follow the Leader x Life of the Party Hopefully this crude example will convey the idea appropriately This could be further expanded later with checkboxes so the session host can check off the trophies as the players confirm to have been unlocked for them. Also, for obvious reasons, the columns (players) section would need to be scrollable due to a number of players that might exceed the available screen width. As for rating... a few suggestions : 1) The session host could, at the very least, be able to flag players that did not show up. But I think a nicer version would probably be to mark those that actually attended. This could be used later as a "Gaming Session attendance ratio" displayed as a percentage. 2) The session host could be able to close a session with a particular "state"; some of the possible states would be "Successful", "Not enough attendees" or just "Defunct". 3) The players (only those that joined the session on PSNP) should be able to rate the session (therefore indirectly rating the host) after it closes. 4) Hosted gaming sessions history of each member somewhere maybe ? Thanks for listening
Stevieboy
The feedback suggestion has been asked before. Here is the thread: https://psnprofiles.com/forums/topic/11529-gaming-sessions-reputation-idea/ However the trophy compare idea is one that could prove quite a useful feature.
nenugalimas
Rating is a popular demand, many threads about it. I dont think its gonna happen though. The comparing trophies suggestion could be useful.
PREDRAG-K
The trophy compare feature would be a nice touch. It could be an easy way for the group to decide which trophies to get first, depending on how many people need them.
Hemiak
Even if the full compare feature can't be implemented, it would be nice if your trophy progress updated during the session. I've joined a couple where the time/date are placeholders and people randomly boost whenever available. After getting 3 or 4 trophies it still lists my progress as 0 trophies the next time I load that session. Edited June 20, 2014 by Hemiak
ExHaseo
I believe I've seen Sly say he's working on a rating system, he just wanted to finish up the guide system first. So, hopefully that's coming. The compare system sounds great too. That alone would likely help cut down on people randomly leaving, and ultimately lead to more productive sessions for everyone, because if you someone joins and they only need one trophy, it's a safe bet that they'll be leaving pretty quickly. So, you can decide if the group wants to chance having a person leave early and screw everyone over, or if you want to wait for another person who needs more trophies.

He said so in a Gaming Session development update post ;-)
Arkthur
Your idea to compare trophies is great. I too pay some attention to it while making sessions, but never bothered to look at everybody's list because, well....is a annoying.

While this is not a big problem, the next one is a little more problematic. b ) All boosters would have to update their PSNP profiles everytime they have resynched their PSN trophies. Unless they are premium members, they are only allowed a certain amount of PSNP updates per day. Even so, so many updates would add an additional load on Sly's webserver ;-) Edited June 21, 2014 by Shadowed_31
Shadowed_31
Here's a little idea for Gaming Sessions history... In our profiles we have a sub menu to which an extra option could be added so we can access the user's gaming sessions history and rating for sessions he hosted and those he participated in. - Overview - Profile Feed - Likes - Friends - Topics - Posts - Gaming Sessions Edited June 22, 2014 by Shadowed_31
