As it was their 40th anniversary the creator said she isn't a cat, like Dr_Mayus said they probably just said it so that they get attention and sell more products. XIII-Order-Xion Posted September 2, 2014 Share Posted September 2, 2014 She might not be a cat but an Anthro-Cat a normal cat would be of animal intelligence etc. Hello kitty has greater INT. and more human aspects to her then that of a normal cat so in truth she might be considered a hybrid or a chimera od some sort. Much like being part of the Cat Family yet not honestly a cat. Just like Canines have a family they belong too perhaps its the same. They are all dogs in a way just various types of ones., so you couldn't simply say they were all dogs but instead belonging to a family of dogs.
