Lovejinder_LJ
Namco Bandai has announced that pre-ordering Project CARS will entitle you to the Ruf CTR3 SMS-R race car, an exclusive one-of-a-kind vehicle available only with a pre-order or the Modified Car Pack DLC, the car is a race spec version created by engineers at developer Slightly Mad Studios. The Ruf CTR3 SMS-R features a stripped interior with 270kg of weight removed from the car, which also features bespoke bodywork and a highly-tuned engine, with over 750 horsepower, 980Nm of torque and a top speed of 330 km/h, putting it in a similar power bracket to the Pagani Zonda R. "We wanted the bodywork to reflect our idea of what Ruf would really do if they were to make a track-only version of the CTR3, very much like what Pagani did with the Zonda R" says Vehicle Lead Casey Ringley. "As a result, none of the bodywork is excessively extreme and it takes a lot of cues from modern GT3 class cars: dive planes at the front, swan neck rear wing, aggressive diffuser and other little details that are normal for a car that is honed to perform on the track." Vehicle Manager Jan Frischkorn adds "We also stripped the interior and added other racing equipment such as racing slicks in order to get it track-ready.” You'll be able to get your hands on the Ruf CTR3 SMS-R by pre-ordering Project CARS or by buying the Modified Car Pack DLC when it eventually launches. Project CARS will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 2nd April 2015. IntenseFATE98
Will the game include Koenigsegg? I heard they wont be included because the license to use them is expensive
MrManBuz
The car looks amazing. Ruf is no substitution for Porsche but there's no point in crying to EA about it anymore. EA will be EA. I hope they SMS used the delay time to polish the game well.
Parker
The detail is awesome - hopefully it'll look like that on ps4 .... It will look pretty damn great on PS4. Obviously SMS haven't finished the game yet but there is some PS4 gameplay in this thread. Post #30 shows the latest build. https://psnprofiles.com/forums/topic/18812-project-cars-general-discussion/page-2 On topic: It is a shame that we're not getting the LE over here but I'm still really looking forward to the game. It is one of my most anticipated titles for sure. Parker
