Gibbo_0113 Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 Looking forward to getting interviewed by Colin Moriarty, who while no doubt a fan of C2 will predict a delay, as the small studio struggles with internal conflict and the rumoured sell off of their IP to EA. Resulting in a push to Q2 as the league moves to a weak launch, followed by months of DLC in the form of weekly wraps. I'll be waiting for the inevitable IGN review. Couch Posted February 8, 2016 Share Posted February 8, 2016 So I played a good 5 or 6 games over the past two nights. Games a ton of fun but man are these trophies luck based...same with winning. I think I've won with half the characters and some of the character specific trophies. Not looking forward to some of them and not sure how to do some. Mine kept freezing on my yesterday and Saturday evening. I ended up doing the same with playing whole games. My game freezes a lot to after the prestige leader picks a card for the king. The king always has 4+ rot on me at a time. I can't ever seem to get the cards I need to curse my self more. Picked up another 3 trophies last night. Looking at 27%. I'm thinking this Rot victory is going to be a tough cookie. The king always has 4+ rot on me at a time. I can't ever seem to get the cards I need to curse my self more. Game's getting to be a pain in the arse. Ahh the rot victory was a pain, have some tips though Recommended character: Sana (Spirit amulet) You should focus in getting Corrupted ASAP. Even if it means to die to Banes a few times. Go for the quests that give you "Cursed" items. (The cost is Gain 1 Rot) Always get the quests that increase your primary stat (Spirit for Sana). Once you're Corrrupted you can start farming Rot by killing Banes (don't overdo this, you want to be just above the king's rot value), once you have decent gear and more Rot than the king go ahead and rush him down, with the Fight heroes you won't have much trouble getting in, with Sana make sure that you bring some spells to get rid of those Royal Guards. With Sana you can try and infiltrate the castle earlier in the game due to her amazing Spirit, and against the king she's a beast. With the others you might be low in both Wits and Spirit so try to get the last quest as fast as you can. Try to save the Mirror Image spell to increase your chances on this last battle. As with Kingslayer try to get the Squire follower, he won't only take the ALL hits for you if you're supposed to die but this will also give you a free heal after you kill whoever tried to kill you. Don't kill yourself trying to finish it just for us. Game is fun regardless the amount of stress the luck based trophies will cause. The Circle of power trophy popped for me while going through one of the healing circles. It gives you a choice of salvation and two others. I chose salvation and it took away my rot level. Couch Posted February 10, 2016 Share Posted February 10, 2016 Had a pretty successful night playing Armello. Played something like 6 games and jumped up to 56%. Picked up two of the 4 really luck based stand on these tiles as well without trying so only 1 left. Finished all the win win this character trophies. I think I tried 3 different games to do the "don't die in a game" and while trying, I would get one of the cards needed for another trophy and was like...screw it, change of plans...lets do this instead. Saltyie Posted February 10, 2016 Share Posted February 10, 2016 He probably forgot, no biggie. I think I forgot to mention my Knack experience in this thread. I completed 4 chapters in one session, roughly 1/3 of the game it looks like. I am having an absolute blast on hard mode, so far the enemies have just enough choreographed attacks to make it not too frustrating, and while the story is nothing to write home about, it's pretty good so far for a kids game. 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
