So go ahead and sign me up. Sure, no pressure. Welcome to the thread! I did mention doing a bit of the game in the Platinum Rain Day updates, but basically I'm getting closer to the home stretch. The grind is probably going to be the hardest for me, with all these new things for other games coming out(like Pokemon Sun and Moon, love your avatar!) but I'll see what I can do. I've been playing the game for the past few days. I'm at the Fault and the game has been pretty good so far. I also plan on getting more DQH trophies this month as well, or at least grinding King Metal Slimes until everyone is at Level 80 at least so I can complete the remaining rematches and try to survive the veteran rematches. It means an updated poster and transformation of this thread into a general events for the series, nothing more. Since there are no prizes for completing the platinums, unlike my Kingdom Hearts thread, there won't be much of a change. DetectiveCJ Posted December 12, 2016 Author Share Posted December 12, 2016 Finally got a trophy, Puffington Host, by finally getting the last two Puff-Puffs, Jessica and Yangus. Ugh, Yangus took FOREVER to get his Puff-Puff, he managed to be the third person to hit Level 99, after Bianca and Aurora. Now I need to get Lucien to Level 99 to get the Bjorn quest. Had to kill ten Pandora Boxs but it's easy to find them in the Coliseum root-defense special grotto; just ignore the root and look for the chests. Aurora got Thwacked a lot, sadly, but other than that, it wasn't too hard. The only trophies I have left to get are (1) completing the last two quests which are the hardest quests ever, (2) crafting all accessories(missing quite a few recipes), (3) buying and collecting all orbs and weapons which means (4) defeating Zoma and Nok for the all enemies defeated trophy. I was using the method from the video on the first post of this thread, but I ran across the following video that says most people are using the method incorrectly. Thank you! =) The farming doesn't take long and the DLC bosses aren't that hard after watching a video in youtube, the puff puff trophy can be a pain but having the person you need in your party then closing and loading the game seems to work amazingly. I'll be playing inFamous at one point but since I'm now on my Christmas holiday for 3 weeks, I'll do some of my longer games since I've got the time for them now. Good luck on getting the platinum.
