The missable guide covers all the missable equipment (costumes and weapons) whereas the equipment guide provides locations for everything-- missable and not missable. First I played it for fun and now I started a new game, following this guide. Edit: I‘ve now completed the game and can confirm, that this guide covers everything. At the End I just had to visit every store and buy all weapons/equipment (don‘t forget Canada!) and do some misc trophies.
