My main goal this year is to get at least 25% on every game (overall) and all trophies from Advisor above 25%. Overall I want to raise every single game left behind (except Giana Sisters and Marvel vs Capcom 3 - they are already there to stay). So, my stats now: E = 4 D = 2 C = 9 Goal - Reach B. It may not be worth it starting now because of ridiculous Top 1% requirements and servers constantly losing your match results and ribbon progress. Last week, eligible amount of points jumped from 29k to 46k. Not sure about this week but I expect something close to 60k. Individual boosters can't survive anymore, one additional console is simply not enough. In order to feel comfortable, you need 3 boosting partners and you can't switch places with them, i.e. one of you boosts the whole week, another takes the next one, etc. So it's a team challenge now and not many tries left And there's a small chance your earned trophy simply won't pop for you, like in my case. I don’t like to suffer with a glitch trophy, specially if thr servers are about to close. Either way I would probably end up playing it... I got my WiiU back yesterday and decided to get back to some unfinished and unstarted WiiU games. That and I won't be home in the first half of March, so i don't think there will be a lot of change from those stats until the End of March. Anyway, my stats changed as followed: A rank 10 -> 11 B rank 5 -> 6 C rank -> 10 -> 11 D rank 10 -> 9 games played 97 -> 99 completion rate 49.41% -> 49.73% For a short day my completion rate was over 50% which made me very proud. I hope, to get it to stay over 50% once I finished my next 1 or 2 games. I mainly returned back to Kingdom Hearts on the PS4 this month. Played through the whole story to get the unchanging and undefeated trophies. And now I'm mainly grinding all the endgame content before I do a second try of the final boss for the speedster trophy. (I'm going for the 100 hour method. Maybe I will try it with my proud run beforehand if I lose my patience to wait) Apart from that I started 2 new games. The first being RiME from this months' PS+. I already went through the story and god, it is a tearbreaker. Have to get back for all collectibles and misc trophies but will do that later. The second game being KH Birth by Sleep. I already played that game about... 6 times? Back on PSP and once on PS3. Decided to finally go for the plat, so I started my first playthrough with Ventus. acridvortex Posted February 18, 2018 Share Posted February 18, 2018 So, after spending most of January S ranking Horizon Zero Dawn, I'm finally making some decent progress on reducing my E ranks. I moved sly Cooper thieves in time out of my E ranks and started the process of getting Assassin's creed 4 out of the E's as well. I've also added a few new plats. I played through Hellblade and Day of the Tentacle. Both amazing games. I was trying to finish AC Syndicate with an S, but I encountered a glitched trophy on the DLC and the DLC is annoying so I don't know if I'm going to play it again. Given that I actually made my goal for S ranks which I didn't expect to do so soon, I'm raising my goal to 15 S Rank games to triple the amount I started with. Also I'd like to set a goal of lowering my Unearned Trophies. I guess it was a pretty good start regarding the main goal when it comes to completion rate and unearned trophies. Unfortunately it will not stay that way^^. I'll definitely start 2 or 3 games in March. I was or am not at home a few weeks and since I don't like starting new games when I know I'm not be able to play them properly, I just did some of my other older open games before I left. My biggest thing in matter of completion of my small backlog was to achieve my last trophy in Treasures of Montezuma Blitz after now several years. Playing 100 hours, in an arcade game which took me about 35 hours to complete all other trophies, is for sure not a requirement I like. You can just let it run, but every game just takes 1 minute and after 5 lifes you have to wait for new lifes or advance the time manually on the vita. Is Really annoying and I always switched between do it or leave it be. In the end I played every now and then a bit for real and/or let the game run itself, but most of it I did this month. I guess this challenge has some impact on me and of course I am just to addictet to trophies . S rank 40 -> 41 A rank 10 -> 12 B rank 5 -> 5 C rank -> 10 -> 10 D rank 10 -> 9 games played 97 -> 99 completion rate 49.41% -> 50.15% So, what did I do this month? (put everything in spoilers so that no one gets hit with a giant wall of text, but I thought I comment a bit on the games I played) Spoiler I finished the following already started games: - Steins;Gate 0: I started this game last summer but I only read it periodically. After a long break (partially because I didn't have access to my Vita) I finally finished the remaining routes. I really liked the game, but it isn't as good as the original game. - Demetrios: I started it in January and had the intention of finishing it in that month as well but then suddenly February happened, so it became the second plat and S rank in February. Funny game but not that great. - Final Fantasy XV: Finally got the motivation to grind out the fishing and the outdoor trophies. The last ones I needed for the plat. For now I will let the game rest. Maybe I will return for the dlcs, maybe not. I really didn't like the game and the more I think about it, the more I dislike it. - 36 Fragments of Midnight (Vita): The most surprising entry this month. I spend the last weekend at my parents' house and didn't want to play anything else on my Vita, so I went for this game and suddenly I had some real good runs and got the remaining trophies popped. I'm glad, I'm done with it. It is a pretty common plat with a high percentage (80+) but it was very difficult for me to achieve. Games, I made some progress in: - Tales of Hearts R: Slow and steady. I think I'm near the final boss but I still have some plot before me. Not sure, how I will progress in it in March or if I really will go for the plat. I will probably take some time off this game once I finished the first playthrough. Mostly because the game isn't as great as I hoped it would be. - Binding of Isaac: I will never not do any progress in that game. My room mate beat most of The Lost yesterday. I don't even manage The Womb! I will have a long time left with this game. Long and frustrating. But it is fun. - Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 (PS4): I played a lot of Naruto in December and January, so I'm still recovering from that. Still, I try to do some occasional progress through the story. - Ni no Kuni: Picked it up and I certainly will return to it later in March. Really like it, but I will need to do some leveling before I can continue the story. - Dokuro: Working hard on the game. it's really cute but some of the levels are really hard. I'm really thankful for the walkthrough videos in the trophy guide. - Azkend 2 (PS4): Did the mistake of starting it on PS4. Time-challenging match-3 games with a controller are really not that cool. I tried to go for as many trophies as possible and managed to get an A rank out of it but the remaining trophies are so terribly luck-based that I simply won't bother with it. - Kingdom Hearts (PS4): Finished the story with Unchanging Armor and Undefeated. I also got all Gumi-Ship related trophies and most of the miscellaneous stuff. Right now I have to grind the new Heartless for the Synthesizing trophies and getting Sora to Lv. 100 for the bonus bosses. All while trying to go for the 100-hour method of Speedster. After that I will only have to do a Proud walkthrough. I hope to finish this game at least before May. Games I started this month: - RiME: Really beautiful and moving. I wouldn't have payed full price for it, so I'm glad I got it with PS+ but still, it is a really great game. I have to get back to it to get all collectibles since I missed almost all of them but oh well, I intend to plat it in March. - Kingdom hearts Birth by Sleep (PS4): Pretty much rushed through Ventus' story, got his reports up to 90% complete as well as all minigame related trophies. All that's left with him are all bonus bosses and the Mirage Arena but since I won't be able to do everything before I finished all story lines I stopped here. I started his Critical walthrough but have to grind for some materials and levels before I can progress further. I'm really proud of my completion rate. Thanks to my last plat I was able to put it above 50% again. I wish it would stay there but starting Saturday I'm on a field trip with my university for ten days. No Internet, two nights on a ship to get us from Amsterdam to Newcastle and back. So I will take my Vita with me and probably start one new VN on it.
