Redgrave Posted March 6, 2014 Share Posted March 6, 2014 After playing DMC1 HD, I was reminded why it's generally agreed to be one of the hardest games out there. Nightmare was a pain, Nelo Angelo on his third fight was difficult, and Mundus is called the Devil King for a reason. All the health upgrades only help so much, and that's on Normal. Virgil on Dante must die difficulty is insane if you don't use the super costume it took me ages to be him without it This also. But for me I did a lot of "practice" fights with him so I could get some orbs and after a while I found out his patterns. What made it really annoying was him going into Devil Trigger when you think you had him. Still, I consider Vergil one of the funnest boss fights out there.
