How much would a new DS3 go for these days if you could find one?

If a DS4 isn't an option, refurbished GS is a good second choice. I've got two of the old GS branded DS3's and they work well for the price point, some stiffness aside.

If only Sony could make DS4 work with all games, not speaking about PS5. Still can't take the platinum on Silent Hill 2, because original controller's analog has completely worn out and DS4 analogs just don't work with this game. 

 

I have bought a replica few years ago, but it worked so bad, that my broken analogs been more responsive that on this new. So used or OEM your best bet.

I just bought a new one off eBay for $25ish all told.

 

Aftermarket controllers tend to be a little cheaper unless they're sold multipack.

3rd party controller truly are shite and the knock offs even worse. The real deal? Well Ebay is too risky, Maybe Pawn stores? I bought a tonne in Japan pretty cheap though none are brand new.
