Hi everyone, this is Chris Faylor, Community Manager at Borderlands 2 maker Gearbox Software. This Tuesday, October 8th marks the launch of Borderlands 2: Game of the Year Edition, which is going to pack a ton of content (over $100 worth) for $59.99.

It’s amazing for us at Gearbox to see so many people enjoying the game — after all, it’s your passion that drives us to keep creating new content — and we’re excited that this edition comes packed with all of the season pass content, and more!

This bundle is a great starting point for those that may have missed out on Borderlands 2 the first time around, and it’s the perfect holiday gift for your future co-op partners!

Now, in order to celebrate the launch of the Game of the Year Edition, we wanted to do something special. Starting next Friday, October 11th, Gearbox Software and 2K will be hosting the Borderlands 2 $100,000 Loot Hunt.

In partnership with the folks here at PlayStation, Turtle Beach, NVIDIA, and BradyGames, 2K and Gearbox will be giving away tons of weekly prizes — including a grand prize of $50,000 in cold hard cash.

We’ll also have four weekly cash prizes (worth a combined $50,000), along with incredible loot like PlayStation Vitas, and copies of Borderlands 2 Vita when it’s released. Check out the official website for a full list of prizes.

Vita games arent $60. On average they're $40-$50. Still at $40-$50 they better as shit have all the dlc

yeah i signed up for the loot hunt. its gonna be cool, but tbh i miss having gear that was modded.. like, stat modded in BL1.. anyways, I've been meaning to get back around to playing BL2 for the longest time. now this loot hunt gives me an incentive to play a game that has been collecting dust on my shelf. not anywhere close to platting it. if anyone else is gonna participate in the loot hunt, and needs a squad member, hmu. add me. and put "psnprofiles" somewhere in the subject or the actual message body.

Even if the PSVita version doesn't have the add-ons, I bought the season pass for the PS3 version when I got it. Lame that the season pass only includes the add-ons with trophies.

Been waiting for this since release! most games the DLC is useless and overpriced but these games have spectacular dlc so i managed to hold out for it!
