LouisvilleXV
I've noticed this on some profiles, but I don't know what causes it. Is it from cheating or something? A bug with PSN?
Solution BeautifulTorment Posted November 3, 2013 Solution Share Posted November 3, 2013 If you earned a trophy before your PS3 or your vita were connected to the internet, that trophy does not have a timestamp.

That makes sense. Thanks for the quick response! Is that the only situation that causes it?
BeautifulTorment
As far as I know, yup.
BrunoBomb
But what if I earn a trophy but I'm not connected on the internet, would still have the timestamp or not?
BeautifulTorment
I've earned trophies on my Vita without having an internet connection, and the timestamps were fine. Pretty sure as long as you have had an internet connection on that device in the past, you're fine.
DrBloodmoney
Its only if you have NEVER been connected before. I earn almost all my vita trophies while away from an internet connection, but because i had my profile established on the system before i earned them it saves the timestamp and applies it once the trophies are synched. You see quite a few people with missing timestamps on the Vita Welcome Pack, for example, because a lot of people played it some before setting up thier profile fully on that system
Christopher
I like these answers, so I'll ask another more specific question. While unfortunately I dont have an example right now, what if there is a player with only a couple trophies in the middle of their collection wiithout a timestamp? BeautifulTorment
Then it'd be due to a new device that had not been connected to the internet prior to earning a trophy. Examaple, if I got YLOD and then bought a new PS3 and earned a trophy right away. Or if you buy a brand new vita and do the same thing.

I kept restarting my PS3 until it would stay connected, just because I didn't want any missing timestamps. -.- At least I now know for the future, lol Edited November 3, 2013 by Beeinhollywood

willmill97
That can't be right, I got loads of trophies before I connected my PS3 up to the internet/signed up to PSN and I still have timestamps...

It is right, your PS3 was obviously connected to the net before.
