Popular Post Darling Baphomet
Hey y'all, just finished this game yesterday, and the trophy guide is... well, not exactly comprehensive. So here's a compilation of some important tips I wish I'd known; minor spoilers ahead: You need to do the 1003 pushups trophy in one go. I recommend taping down the button or something for this, because holding the d-pad up for 30 minutes straight is risky. Note that the d-pad up can also cause you to do pull ups; I'm not sure if these count for the trophy. You don't need to complete the game on hard if you do a New Game + run - if you want to significantly reduce the difficulty, do an easy run first, then do New Game +, which should count for the hard trophy since it's considered a harder difficulty, although in practice it's easier due to having all your abilities transferred over. New Game + also has a bunch of new weapons that don't appear in the regular playthroughs. On your no death run, restarting the level will reset your death count. I also panic restarted the game when I died, which may have helped, but restarting the level alone should do it. You don't need to destroy all the angels during the final boss fight (they're extremely tanky there) - once you defeat the final boss, they'll all be destroyed. You do, however, need to burn the host piles for its trophy. Frag grenades seem to ignite them. If you want the speedrun trophy, any time will count for the trophy; note that going too fast (e.g. spamming dashes from point A to point B between fights) can cause the game to crash due to not being able to load fast enough, and you can't resume a speedrun - it has to be done in one sitting. If you don't care about a fast time, I recommend running normally between fights. I recommend going Overload / Health Regen / Frag Thrower if you're struggling; Overload is actually a more effective 'shield' than the shield with enough upgrades, since it not only reduces damage but will allow you to dash infinitely + you can fire while dashing without unequipping your shield. The quick regenerating dashes (final upgrade) are a must for the second last boss fight. Generally just dash a lot and use executions to refill your health / shield.
Ac3dUd3-
You can message the author of the guide to say he is missing stuff, if he doesn't reply you can report the guide for not being up to quality

Rejim
I decided to retake a go and slowly going though it. Already completed it once (but didn't get the no death trophy, died once and totally forgot about it, so just went on with it. Hope Ng+ with the upgrades ain't that bad). Question...do the do/kill x thing x times stack with Ng+ or they must be done in the same one abusing chapter select? I wanted to add as well that the guide has a lot of missing things. I appreciate the effort, but I prefer to have no guide than an incomplete one, since I'll have to look elsewhere for the missing parts anyways. No pictures and just one video, makes it hard to understand some of the requirements. For example the Cats trophy, with no picture of what Hooligan looks like or where she is, I went on with the story by mistake. Same with the hosts. No picture, I was looking everywhere in the first map of Hell, not knowing there were none there xD. To get the combo there is nothing specific as well (there's a room with the exploding mines, just melee them one after the other and you'll surpass easily the 15 combo - if you miss and it resets, just die and try again) Small things but they add up and don't think it reflects how a guide should look ☹️
Deadly_Ha_Ha
@Darling Baphomet does it seem to you like the guide has been updated since you posted this? I want to start the game but don't want to use an iffy guide

I want to start the game but don't want to use an iffy guide I don't think it's been updated, no. But the guide is mostly fine, if you follow the advice I gave here on top of it, it shouldn't be a problem.
APCGrayLocked
i would like to add that for the Ashes to Ashes trophy, no, the frag grenades don't ignite the bodies. I tried to do that and they never exploded. But that's not a problem. You can simply use the Supply Drop ability to get a Flamethrower (SCR-1 Hellfire). Also, the hosts pile are from Walkways of Terror to last level (when you defeat the final boss, and the angels automatically explode, there will be 4 more piles. You must burn them as well for the trophy). Edited January 23, 2022 by APCGrayLocked
