And just like that, I have completed the challenge! Overcooked All You Can Eat was pretty fun, a lot more multi-tasking involved when playing solo. This challenge really pushed me to get platinums that I never thought I'd ever get such as Dissidia NT, Fall Guys, Bloodborne (this one eluded me for a while), and most of all: Wolfenstein 2. I'm pretty proud of myself for doing Wolfenstein 2 as fast as I did! To that, I say, thank you @Rebourne07 for this challenge! I will post my second list sometime within the next few weeks for when I really decide what I want to do next, gonna continue to push myself even harder.

@Rebourne07 : I have a question about the GTAV rating. I’m currently playing the PS5 version and want to use it for the challenge. 
The guide for the PS3 version has it at a 6/10, can I use that rating or would that be bending the rules too much? I’ll happily replace The Survivalists and use it as my 4/10 if I can’t.

A surprisingly early update to the next completed game called Tricky Towers. PlatPrices rates the game with a 6/10 which is quite an understatement. It's definitely not an easy game, and "tricky" to platinum, although I thought it would take me longer.

Oh, thanks for the reminder.  Middle Earth was completed in 2022, but I popped the platinum at the end of 2021.  So that won't count.

 

TLOU Remastered could, so I'll keep that in the back pocket!  It's good to have a substitution option in case I get backed up.

As we know now, it got put in the PS+ free games this month, so thought I'd check to see what the voting on .org had for it, now that more folks had played it, to see if it would fit any of my open slots...

Averages to an 8.5, so would count for an 8 or 9.  I've got it slotted as 9 and it's between that or Returnal when I get to it.

lmao, well...I also said in another post that in order to use a community voted poll the poll would either have to have 10 votes or the game would have to have been out for 2 months, whichever comes sooner. So since Curse of the Dead Gods has been out for over 2 months that poll will qualify. On community polls, it's not the most voted answer that counts, it's the average and since that average comes out to 8.5 then you can count it as either an 8 or a 9

...on the other hand though, as @DrunkenEngineer points out, Returnal is legit as a 9/10 (via PowerPyx), and know I struggled a lot more with Curse of the Dead Gods than Returnal... (I just platted it in the wrong year ?)...

I clocked in around 160 hours…

…but in fairness, I spent a fair amount of time just toying with different builds, and not necessarily really going for the plat particularly efficiently. I’d say an efficient, specifically tailored plat-play could get it done in 60-70 odd.

 

TBH, it wasn’t a game I necessarily expected to plat, so only really got serious about that last trophy after quite a bit of it just being my go-to “a run for fun” kinda game!

That’s been like Hades for me on PC. 
 

Good information, sounds like Returnal would be a similar length, and likely more obtainable, so I’ve got options.

Both great options man - I absolutely loved them both, so as far as I’m concerned, you can’t go wrong!

 

That 10/10 is probably not gonna happen for me - Tetris Effect was going well… until I tried the Sprint mode! 

I think that’s going to be my gaming White Whale in perpetuity ?

Finally another update from me, finished Ghostrunner as my 7/10 today for platinum #9 in this challenge. And yes, i switched Yakuza 0 out because after playing Elden Ring for almost 3 months straight i just need some less time-demanding games lol. 

 

If anyone's curious, Ghostrunner is a fantastic game. Fast pace, high but mostly fair difficulty, straight forward trophy list and an insanely fitting soundtrack. It's definetly not the easiest game to get used to fast, but after it clicked it's a lot of fun and i highly recommend. 

 

Now, i'm only one step away from finishing this challenge and the longer i look at Wolfenstein, the more i wanna throw up. I think i play The New Order and The Old Blood first and decide whether i still wanna try it or if i should choose something else. We'll see.
