It's cheap and has full trophy support too which is good but I'm still on the fence. Has anyone played this on PC and would you recommend it, or is it past it's prime so to speak?? At this price it's definitely worth it but I would question buying it for anything more, since the graphics are a bit dated on ps3. MattyBoy5D Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 Love this game! Very open-ended for an FPS these days. Multiple paths, different ways to approach things (stealth or Rambo). I already bought it twice on PC (retail and Steam sale), and got it again on PSN to get some easy trophies. Really fun game, good and long campaign. I hope they port Crysis Warhead over as well. Kittens Are Awesome Posted May 14, 2012 Share Posted May 14, 2012 Ugh. I have a totally different opinion on this game. One word describes it for me: BORING. So boring. It doesn't pick up until the last 1/3 of the game. Also, I'm playing BioShock at the moment. Now that is a long game. At least compared to Crysis, BioShock is leaps and bounds longer and leaps and bounds more interesting. Save your $10, or whatever it is now, and get yourself an oldie but goody. Terminus124 Posted March 11, 2017 Share Posted March 11, 2017 (edited) Framerate is shit. I honestly don't remember if I ever played a PS3 game with such a bad framerate. It's like 20fps average. I loved this game on PC (one of my all-time favourite FPSes) but playing this port on delta difficulty is a pain in the ass. If anybody reads this now wondering whether to pick it up, don't. Get a PC version, it's probably even cheaper than those 4 pounds I bought it for on PSN. The game's amazing, but this port is terrible. I remember playing it back then, was tons of fun. ? And the graphics were just jaw-dropping! Crysis is one of the best games of its generation.
