Popular Post nickmangan Posted May 31, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted May 31, 2022 This is a warning for those who have previously platted the PS4 game, and who want to plat it on PS5. I have previously platted the PS4 version, so imported my save hoping that it would auto-pop the PS5 list; this didn't work, so I deleted the import save slot and started a new game (I loved platting it originally and was looking for an excuse to re-play the base game!). I played through the tutorial and then thought I'd get some of the quick and easy trophies done early (Broken Horse, Get Over Here). The trophies would not pop despite exceeding the requirements multiple times. I had a look at the game's internal trophies menu (accessed by pressing down on the D pad and then using L1 and R1) and even though I was on a new game and had no PS5 trophies, all of the trophies within this menu had ticks against them and showed as completed. Essentially, because I imported my PS4 data (which had all trophies completed), the game thinks I already have the trophies and so locked me out of earning PS5 trophies, even through a new game. To fix this, I had to completely delete all PS5 save data from the console and start over with another new game. I have replayed the tutorial and managed to get some trophies to now pop. So, if you have previously completed any PS4 trophies and want to complete the PS5 trophies, DO NOT import your PS4 save data, as this will lock you out of them. 5 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ac3dUd3- Posted May 31, 2022 Share Posted May 31, 2022 Lucky I saw this, I tried to import my save as well but got error code -1 so I got saved by their own bug haha. It seems this PS5 update has come with bugs and issues such as Adaptive Triggers not working.....which is literally one of their selling points in the trailer ? GizMo_The_Great Posted March 1 Share Posted March 1 (edited) It’s a little late, but I just booted SnowRunner up to find all my PS5 save data was wiped for some reason. So I decided to import my PS4 data. Seems to be tracking fine.. and I have already unlocked all of the same trophies I have on the PS4 version, on the PS5 version. So I am assuming the issue is just that when you transfer, anything that’s 100% does not trigger the trophy.. but if you had not finished one, then you can continue working towards it. So if you were 95% through on PS4, that 95% carries to PS5, and then you need to get the last 5% for it to unlock..obviously anything that’s already completed 100% cannot be worked towards. So transferring will be fine for anyone who has not completed everything. It does not lock you out of all trophies, only the ones you have already completed, so providing you either come back to do them, or do those first then transfer your data, there should not be an issue Edited March 1 by GizMo_The_Great Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
