DrBloodmoney
Just for fun - there's no stakes but pride here!.... .... how many beloved (and some not so beloved!) non-Sony consoles can you name from years past? I've cobbled together a set of 40 pictures of some old classics / junk-heap fillers, (and blurred out any distinguishing logos etc!) - based on these images, how many can you correctly identify? 0 - Console Avoider! 1-10 - Console Appreciator! 11-20 - Console Enthusiast! 21-30 - Console Expert! 31-35 - Console Wizard! 36-39 - Console Master! 40 - Holy Console, Batman! I'll post the answer list in a little bit once folks with the Console Mettle to try have had a chance to show their stuff... ...who's up to the challenge?! Note - Please use Spoiler Tags for answers, so others can play too - especially if you are a Console Aficionado who can name lots of them!
Helyx
Spoiler 04 - Sega Genesis (2nd gen) 05 - Virtual Boy 07 - Original XBOX 09 - Jaguar 10 - 3DS XL 11 - Ouya 15 - Wii-U 20 - Dreamcast 22 - Game Gear 24 - Atari (2600?) 28 - Master System / Genesis (1st gen) 29 - Saturn 31 - Famicom 34 - Turbo Graffix Didn't Google any of these, since that'd be unfair. Lots of them looked familiar but I couldn't remember their names. Edited July 9, 2022 by Helyx

I can tell you - you’re mostly correct (nice job!) - the only one incorrect is 28 - it’s neither (sort of)… though as a hint… you might want to think about regions, as well as generations… ) Edited July 9, 2022 by DrBloodmoney

Good job!

Good job! Spoiler The only way I got 6 and close to 35 is because of a half remembered Larry Bundy Jr video, another fun fact about that the Gizmondo is that under the rubbery layer is nothing, no hard plastic, it's physically melting and since it sold so poorly, there's gonna be very few ways to play it in future without meeting up with a weird obsessive who never takes their games out the box. ExHaseo
This is a fun idea, let's see what I know lol Spoiler 1 - Amiga 2 - Commodore 64 3 - Steam Link 4 - Sega Genesis, specifically model 2. This is the one I had growing up. 5 - Virtual Boy, my older brother had one of these when I was a kid. It was truly awful lol. 7 - Original Xbox 9 - Atari Jaguar 10 - 3DS, pretty sure specifically the "new" 3DS XL 11 - lol the Ouya 15 - Wii U 16 - Game Stick, because they didn't learn from the Ouya's failure lol 20 - Dreamcast 21 - Intellivision 22 - Game Gear 24 - Atari 2600 26 - V Smile. I only know this one because Billiam did a video on it. 27 - Atari Lynx 28 - Sega Genesis, model 1. I have one of these in it's original box now. I'm kind of surprised two models were on here. 29 - Sega Saturn 31 - Famicom 32 - Philips CDi. I will forever be thankful for this crime against humanity. Without it, Playstation probably wouldn't exist. 35 - Hyperscan. Another one I only know because of Billiam lol. 36 - Sega Master System 37 - SG-1000, the original Sega console 40 - I had totally forgotten that this existed. It's the Panasonic Q model of Gamecube. It was basically a Gamecube with a built-in DVD player. There a few I recognize, but I just can't remember the names of. It was a lot of fun to go through though! Spoiler Interestingly, while it is almost the exact same form factor as the original Genesis - that is actually a Megadrive - the same console on the inside, but in the UK (and most places outside of the US) this was the main form factor (and the name) for the console - actually, as a UK guy, I only ever saw this form factor for that generation of the Sega! I'm not sure if the smaller version ever came over here? It probably did eventually - but every megadrive I saw was this bulkier one!
