Popular Post BlindMango
Hey everybody! As you probably know I've been running the Game Information team here since 2014(!) and doing this for so long as I have has given me a love for video game artwork. About a year or two ago, EA did something amazing that I don't think many people know about strangely enough. They released the highest resolution artwork on their website! Well... Sort of. You do have to open a lower resolution version of an image first, but then can get to the high res version from there. Some of this artwork is in a resolution or quality I've never seen on the internet before, until now. How do you get artwork for your favorite game? Just go to https://www.ea.com/games/library then choose a genre, then right click the box for your favorite game on the list and select "open image in new tab". It will pull up a usually cropped, low resolution version of the image. However if you backspace the 'junk' at the end of the link/URL after the first ".jpg" such as ".adapt.crop1x1.767p.jpg" then hit enter, it will pull up that artwork in glorious high resolution! These are really great for wallpapers, and well, whatever else! Have fun with it! I went ahead and put some of my favorites below. Just click the image and then press 'full size' at the bottom-left for the highest resolution Army of Two: The 40th Day Spoiler Key Art Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel Spoiler Key Art Battlefield 3 Spoiler Key Art Battlefield 3 Premium Artwork Back to Karkand Close Quarters Armored Kill Aftermath Endgame Battlefield 4 Spoiler Key Art Premium China Rising Second Assault Naval Strike Dragon's Teeth Final Stand Battlefield V Spoiler Key Art Battlefield Hardline Spoiler Key Art Dead Space 2 Spoiler Key Art Dead Space 3 Spoiler Key Art Mass Effect Spoiler Key Art Mass Effect 2 Spoiler N7 Art Mass Effect 3 Spoiler Key Art Citadel Omega Medal of Honor Frontline Spoiler Medal of Honor Warfighter Spoiler Key Art Mirror's Edge Spoiler Key Art Mirror's Edge Catalyst Spoiler Key Art Need for Speed Carbon Spoiler Key Art Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005) Spoiler Key Art Need for Speed Undercover Spoiler Key Art Need for Speed Underground Spoiler Key Art Need for Speed Underground 2 Spoiler Key Art SimCity 4 Spoiler Key Art Rush Hour The Sims Spoiler Key Art The Sims 2 Spoiler Deluxe Key Art The Sims 3 Spoiler Alternative Key Art Skate 3 Spoiler Key Art Titanfall Spoiler Key Art Frontiers Edge Titanfall 2 Spoiler Key Art Edited December 5, 2022 by BlindMango
You
WOW! The "The Sims 3" is super creepy, can't say 2 and 1 are THAT much better though. lol Lots to unpack here :- Two dubiously dressed women, grabbing a guy's legs while being dragged on the floor An astronaut stealing old fish out of a dustbin about to be hit by a rolling pin A ferrari driving out of a burning building? And my personal favourite, a fisherman who has caught his own arse. All while a gnome is waving hello. Actually the more I look at it, the more I like it. lol Edited December 5, 2022 by enaysoft

I spent so much time of my life playing that game haha 6 minutes ago, CelestialRequiem said: We await the artwork for Wild Hearts. EA's website has a surprisingly low-res version of that art, however here's a great high res version

But if we're talking about gaming history, the first two Sims game are historically significant. I spent many, many hours on the Sims 1. Had most of the expansions. Game was absolutely hilarious. Often created disaster scenarios just to see how the Sims would react. This was further fueled by a website called 'The Sims Exchange'. It was a website from the early 2000's hosted by EA that allowed players to upload their families. Granted some people probably cheated because there were some truly insane ones. Back then EA mostly had the developer do the work. Unfortunately Westwood Studios caved in which meant that Maxis would sooner or later fall victim to the same scenario. But.... if I wasn't already a fan of Maxis before, The Sims 1 was the game that made me utterly loyal to the company. So much fun. Even had my sister and her boyfriend get into The Sims.
