New patch released solid 60FPS in performance mode now

New patch just dropped, fixes all performance issues and introduces VRR.

They said the same with the first patch 3-4 days after the game was released and it seems that it didn't fixed shit. I won't put much faith in this one. Remember, it's EA

They ditched the ray tracing to get the 60 and with what I've played so far it still drops in a lot of places. 

I've also had a lot of fast travel areas that needed to be rediscovered and shortcuts redone. 

 

Super annoyed and really don't want to go for the plat at this point.

Buying day 1 or preordering gives you worst expierience but at least at highiest price possible.

I literally got the platinum a few days ago. I'm so mad rn, they didn't even think about announcing the new patch will drop? Seriously, there were two months of complete silence from EA.

Raytracing should have been turned off by default. It cuts fps in half or worse its the shittiest new grapix fad.

i stopped playing the game at release because of the poor performance and it even looked really ugly in performance mode. Now i gave it another shot and it performs waaaaay better and even looks better and sharper (even though they ditched rt). Definitely worth the wait. Could have saved 30 bucks compared to release but i'm glad i waited instead of ruining the fun with inferior performance.

This was my most anticipated game for this year but the performance made me hate it. Sadly, this patch won't change my opinion because they delayed the game to "make it better" and they just let us down. I've tried this new patch of course and it runs finally better. This game should've been delayed until this patch came out. They could've avoided the negative backlash. You just can't erase someone's memory.
