Chambers35
Just had this news linked to me so I thought I'd share it with you guys; Here's a fullsize image if you want to get up-close and personal http://i.imgur.com/gTROh.jpg It supposedly comes from a Best Buy employee who sent to Kotaku. Definitely a Native American look going on, which would also confirm the rumours about Assassin's Creed III being set in the American Revolution I hope this is a real image, 'cus he looks awesome! Update: This is all official, check out the boxart here

Chambers35
The American Flag in the background may also be a hint towards it taking place in the American Revolution Yeah that's what people are thinking. Also, look at the Tomahawk blade/head
Christopher
Yeah that's what people are thinking. Also, look at the Tomahawk blade/head And the flintlock pistol in his hand would properly fit the time period.

Parker
I'm not a huge fan of the Assassin Creed games but this one looks pretty interesting, I'm looking forward to learning more details about the game. On another note, I find it funny that there are already people raging about the game saying it's going to be terrible when no details have been released. Gotakibono
Assassin's Creed III really is the most important entry of this series; the two games that preceded Assassin's Creed II almost drove this series into the ground for me. They were expansion packs that were made out to be proper sequels, and got progressively worse which each installment. Assassin's Creed III can't just be good, it has to be great, for the sake of the series.
AWC2009
ben franklin, founding fathers allies of the assassins maybe?
Christopher
ben franklin, founding fathers allies of the assassins maybe? Hehe, if Ben Franklin played the same role as Davinci. "Ah, a codex page." "Ah, a codex page." "Ah, a codex page." Honestly though, tying keys to kites and slipping them on someones belt loop as an assassination would literally make it the best game of all time. On the same note, I wouldn't mind seeing more weather than day, night, and fog.
