PleaseHoldOn Posted October 5, 2015 Share Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) That I've had a heck of a time over the last few weeks trying to figure out how to access Sony's servers to pull user data for the purposes of account/game/trophy tracking, akin to what this site does. Though I was simply trying to do it to learn, not to necessarily create anything (how on Earth would I compete with this site). Maybe Steam spoiled me with it's very functional API, but I haven't found anything nearly as functional or supported for PSN free to the public. And I certainly don't have the tools upstairs to make my own, still very much an amateur with web development and networking in general... if such a thing is possible without Sony's consent? Either way, kudos to Sly. I don't know if it's sheer book smarts, a lot of trial and error, maybe some kinda insider knowledge... a little bit of each maybe... that got this site (and his prior site) as functional as it is, but this simpleton is impressed.
