Major letdown

So leading up to the games release I thought this looked fantastic

And I brought it immediately the day it came out

And it plays nicely, has a tonne of variety, looks good enough and has some great systems

But this is all ruined by some of the most ridiculously skewed RNG I have ever seen in a game

This game relies entirely on roles

And the games roles for you are generally barely passes or complete fails

Meanwhile I never saw the enemy fail a single role, they legit were passing every dodge, every parry, every hit, every agility check

Avoid this game like the plague until it's patched as the RNG basically makes the game unplayable which is a major shame

OP, be a more conscious buyer, read reviews before you buy games so you avoid this kind of disappointment. You are digging your own grave by buying without researching.

The opening post is a major letdown. It was ruined by what can't be described as anything other than RNG invoked typos and the role it played in the post. It never seemed to fail. Avoid it until it's fixed by a patch in form of an edit.

I'm honestly just a huge fan of Games Workshop and their tabletop stuff

I have had lots of fun with that so I'm going to buy the games related to them in hopes they're good

Vermintide grows on you that I'll admit, it isn't perfect but it's a lot of fun

I just feel people should know what a games like

Be it good or bad

The games RNG is epically fucked

Read up on it online

I'm not saying the game is absolutely awful it's well done and has some great ideas

But RNG is broken and dampens the game massively

Maybe I'm getting jaded

Most games let me down lately with a few exceptions

But I don't expect to get attacked for opinions that don't harm anyone here

You all have some major growing up to do

If you can't add something meaningful to the discussion then don't reply

dice. While playing the role of warrior

I once bought a new sword from a merchant

and brought it with me on my

adventures, but in my first

fight I rolled a 1 and dropped it.

The giant rat I was fighting bit me

and I got the plagur.

 

TL;DR - RNG sucks sometimes.
