Firetruck mission on Portland Island

Cant do the firetruck mission on Portland Island as ive completed all of the story and pay phone missions

Salvatore's men just keep on blowing up the firetruck

is there a better way/method on how to get pass this mission?

I think that cheats don't disable trophies in GTA 3.Maybe try a bulletproof cheat?

All Taxi/Vigilante/Firefighter missions should be done ASAP so the playfield consists only of one island and no gang rivalries.

Do the health cheat when you're in the vehicle.  The cosmetic damage will be the same, but it will drive as if you just stole it.

As long as you can do the 20 in one run on a different island, you just have to do 20 total on Portland.

Which means, if a burning car spawns in Saint Marks, just quit the mission,, and restart the mission, since your total cars extinguished carries over

Thanks for the help I managed to get it but damn! it was hard as hell I would definitely recommend to anyone to do the Paramedic, Vigilante, Firefighter Missions right at the start of the game on the first island

I've only got the emergency vehicle missions left to do, is this definitely right? And do they count towards a mission each? For example - vigilante on Portland is one mission, vigilante on Staunton is another and so on.

yup, every firetruck or vigilante must be completed 20 each island, you don't need to do in row, just like in taxi fares.
