The reason SH4 is not in HD collection is because the game was not well received by fans as in previous games. In my opinion SH4 has more value than homecoming and downpour together

I still have the original discs for all of the ps1/ps2/xbox/360 and ps3 Silent Hills though I'd also buy any of them on Ps4 if they are ever available. And in all honesty I didn't get butthurt on the HD collection for PS3 or 360, I just accepted that they are what they are and played through.

 

I really enjoyed SH4, blue my mind when it came out.

I think that Silent Hill 4 could be bought in the japanese psn store as a ps2 classic from your ps3 but Im not 100% sure... The Silent Hill HD collection should have included the first one and 4th, but I guess that was too much effort. I keep my Silent Hill 1 from psx and my Silent Hill Collection from ps2 like a treasure lol

I got it back in january, it's available in japanese store and in hong-kong store, confirmed. Now I can play SH4 on my PS3. It runs in english, the subs are in english too.

I dunno about the PS3 version (I have it but haven't tried it) but the XBox 360 Silent Hill HD Collection was terrible. I would hope if there is a port or remaster that they learn from past mistakes.

There's still some hope! It seems Konami might be releasing an arcade collection and a castlevania collection, so cross fingers, toes and eyes and we might see some other collections come down the line
