Burgins
Been out for quite awhile now so I was wondering if Boss Run: Impossible was doable or if it was glitched
Yuukiyun
Given the name of the trophy it's probably quite difficult. Having only 123 players doesn't help either. Synophis may know. He has 90% on the game, and did a lot of other hard games as well.
Darkette
Synophis already told me it’s just hard. If it’s glitched then no one knows because it’s not been successfully done on PS4 yet. It’s been done on PC but it’s been patched to be easier because it provides extra healing, a patch PS4 does not currently have.
Burgins
Great to hear, I'll pick this up now since it's on a pretty decent sale. Thanks!
xBest_1989x
It's really hard. As someone mentioned, the Steam version was patched and you can select the difficulty, but the boss run in PS4 is in Hard mode by default and can't be changed. I was working on getting the boss run trophies but got distracted by other games.
Popular Post Synophis
Not only is there are an easier mode on PC, but you also get to start the boss rush with three ice creams (full heal item). On PS4, you only get one ice cream and that's it. My original thinking was that there was no point spending time perfecting everything when an easy mode patch had already been released. Obviously, I should have known better how developers treat their PS4 patches. it's been over half a year and none of the multiple patches released on PC have made their way on the PS4. So just to let people know that they are getting themselves into, the problem and the difficulty with this trophy comes from a few really badly designed bosses: - Kneft infestation basically forces you to take damage by throwing so many enemies at you that you can't kill them fast enough without weapon upgrades. - Bib fnakkers is two randomly moving enemies, randomly throwing 1-3 rocks at you and also rushing against you. You can destroy the rocks, but without weapon upgrades it's not feasible to rely on that. Destroying the rocks also splits them into smaller rocks which hurt you. - Church fnakkers is three randomly moving enemies, each randomly throwing a rock at you at random arcs. This isn't that bad, but the randomness sure makes it a mess. - Fnakker friends is one big and three smaller randomly moving enemies, each randomly throwing a rock at you at random arcs. One of the smaller enemies is also throwing health but it's a small help in the midst of dodging the rocks. - Final boss is one randomly warping and moving enemy that gives very few opening to do damage. Without weapon upgrades, the fight takes a long time and there are some really nasty attacks that are really hard to avoid. Luckily, at least the attacks follow some patterns so it's possible to semi-consistently avoid them. It seems like the fights were only balanced with the weapon upgrades in mind and since you can't use them during this challenge, there's no way to consistently no damage these fights. Boss rush also doesn't even provide an option to practice against a certain boss without weapon upgrades. When you enter a practice fight, you'll always have at least rapid fire enabled which makes the fights completely different. Also, I didn't even mention the other 13 bosses you need to defeat and some of them have similar random attacks of their own. So yeah, good luck figuring out consistent strategies to fnakker squad fights. I found that once I was cornered, I just needed to run past them and hope that none of the enemies threw a rock at that moment but it's just luck and many times I'd get damaged. I don't honestly think that there's any consistent strategies for these fights and it's just a matter of getting damaged only a couple of times and using ice cream to full heal. Problem is that likely you've already used your one ice cream at this point. Having three ice creams would make this a breeze. If anyone manages to beat this, I want to see a video of how you they managed to cope with the forced damage and randomness.

It motivated me to go back to the game again, and I managed to find a glitch which allowed me to get this trophy first try (I didn't even play that well either). I'll get a video done soon hopefully and link it here @Synophis The end result of this glitch is that you can have 200 hp in the boss run which means you can just tank alot of the damage. Wow, great find and congrats on being first. Looking forward to the video

Synophis
I mean, I was hoping for a video of doing it legit by consistently avoiding damage. Doubling our health sure makes this easier but we'll still have to deal with those messy random fights without real strategy. I need to test this at some point, but I'm not expecting this to be an insta free win unless the exploit also carries over other stuff like difficulty from the main save. Dream_Hero_Nemo
So what was the glitch? Having that extra health would super help out. I keep making it pretty far into the boss rush but as said before, some of those bosses are just total BS and it's so random if you get hit or not. Having 3 ice cream cones to heal would make this a breeze but trying to save the one and only cone for the last boss is a pain in the butt. I don't know why that guy removed his video, but he was fighting a boss in I believe boss rush practice. It was a big ol fella and it had two phases, you had to protect some little dudes from it in the second phase (I forget the name of the boss, sorry). But anyways, you get to that second phase and let the little dudes you gotta protect die instead. I don't remember exactly what happened next but I know it was something to do with loading your story mode file. Like you tricked the game into loading your story mode health pool. @CarvedWood what's up with the late edits removing the info, man? Was the bug fixed or something? Dream_Hero_Nemo
Ah okay, thank you burgins. I think the only bosses that you have allies are on the giant rock boss and the final boss fight, so i'm guessing you have to let the lil dudes in the final boss fight die then lose or quit out then load up the save file. Go to boss rush, fight with the final boss, let him kill the two lil dudes and the fight will end automatically. It will take you back to your last campaign save, but menu will still be that of the boss rush. Quit and start a boss rush, you should have the amount of HP you had in the campaign.

I'd recommend taking a look:
