I did on the first 6 missions, but now I am on the 7th mission and I only finish up with an SS ranking. I've never put so much work into a game and consider giving up, but I am thinking about it. At the next fight you can use it again and possibilities are endless. You have to try to pass the entire level without getting hit, take advantage of the first fight with the butcher and the bunch of minions, that is your main source for points. You have to take care of the Witches quickly since they can be a pain, and of course there is no easy way to beat the teleporting guys, just try to pummel him as soon as you have an opening. You should also improve your parrying skills if you are not very good at it. A member on an external board was kind enough to calculate the minimum Stylish Points-requirement(s) [it should be a Trophy Tip]. Hell, I'll just copy them over. Keep in mind that the following requirements are valid if you have all the collectibles (Lost Souls/Keys/Secret Doors), which automatically grant you SSS rank on Completion: EDIT: Try to not use any item (Gold Orbs included), and don't die. Doing either deducts a % of points from the total score. SSS Mission Scores: Mission 1 - Found Lowest SSS Mission Score - 15, 525, 888. This means with SSS completion you will need 1, 940, 736 points from time and style. SSS time (8m 20s or less) = 242, 592 style points. SS time (8m 22s - 11m 9s) = 277, 248 style points. S time (11m 27s - 12m 42s) = 323, 456 style points. Mission 2 - Home Truths Lowest SSS Mission Score - 11, 630, 248. This means with SSS completion you will need 1, 453, 781 points from time and style. SSS time (14m 9s or less) = 181, 723 style points. SS time (14m 11s - 18m 59s) = 207, 683 style points. It makes sense that SSS ranks are easier to earn, though, one of the goals of this reboot was to get new players to approach the series. I remember that in my SSS run I've got extremely lucky with the enemies' A.I.: they liked to "freeze" and stop attacking me, I could hack away at them until they died. I've earned SSS a couple of times on Son of Sparda or Dante Must Die by just mixing up my moves. But on some levels I felt like I've done really well and didn't get the SSS rank so the advice in this thread will be helpful. It seems like I need to start using demon evade. Play the game a couple more times to get familiar with the combat system, buy all the upgrades and conquer the higher difficulties, all the way up to DMD before you even remotely try this. The score window is incredibly tight and the butcher can screw you over by killing some of the elite Stygians that you need to build your combo score. Just spam the Aquila stun lock, run in with Rebellion x2 with delayed Arbiter finisher makes it pretty easy to SSS all other levels. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
