How to get 'Celsius or Fahrenheit?' if you're tired of waiting for a patch

Basically, follow HusKyCode's guide for downgrading Mad Max but use the addresses listed below for step 10 depending on your version.

 

There hasn't been any official word on if this is allowed or not afaik, so use at your own discretion.

 

I've only been able to test US The Big Score edition physical, please let me know if something doesn't work for your version.

 

I was able to use my 1.30 save without problem on 1.20, you should back up your save before starting the game to be safe.

Edit: i will test out if it works with the digital crime wave edition, only have to wait for the tedious 33 GB to download.

This method works like the OP said, i got the trophy after updating my game to 1.20 (i've got the digital version.)

 

The method i used was: 

1. Follow steps 1 till 6 from the HuskyCode's guide for downgrading Mad Max.

2. Digital version - Start the download of the game.

    Disc version - insert the disc.

3. In the Charles window you should see some things pop up from playstation, you have to search the one that says http://gs2.ww.prod.dl.playstation.net

4. In my case i remapped this file : /gs2/ppkgo/prod/CUSA01761_00/14/f_973d6323d457ed412eec349ee3403144253982972ebc0002673324f0b93300c3/f/EP4040-CUSA01761_00-PAYDAY2CRIMEWAVE-A0130-V0100.json to /gs2/ppkgo/prod/CUSA01761_00/13/f_45b04b82c40813a53b6e2685e11da9372b7a96cf69d9b9e69afd5ee66a63a4bc/f/EP4040-CUSA01761_00-PAYDAY2CRIMEWAVE-A0120-V0100.json. 

5. After remapping the correct stuff i deleted the game from my playstation, and then started downloading again.

6. After installing the game i suggest taking out your internet cable from your playstation, otherwise it will download 1.30.

 

If you use Charles it will close every 30 minutes, i restarted it everytime. I am not sure if you can actually keep it closed. 

 

A big thank you @Mako for finding this method. Now this trophy is finally achievable.

Maybe it is an idea of opening a thread where all games, where this method can be used, can be discussed.

I can confirm this trophy is achievable again. I got it yesterday after the patch update.
