Some ideas I have for the website

- On the sidebar of a game's trophy list, where it includes detail such as developer, genres, releases, etc., add the price it is on the PSN store (and maybe the official game trailer)

- In the Playstation Series pages for game series, add a percent or # tracker of people who have 100% all the games in a stage, or the whole list.

- The trophy advisor could be used better, such as knowing which games you play more often and recommending trophies for that game, other than all the games on your list

- Something that says if a trophy is unobtainable (?)

  1. That data is from IGDB and is not manually inputted. So basically, you will only see that information if there is an IGDB page for that game. As far as the second part of this, the price for the game would be fairly complicated to show as you suggest. Different stores and regions display the price differently and when converting from one currency to another, is not always the same monetarily. Another complication would be sales and the general depreciation of the monetary cost of the package overtime. It would be difficult to monitor reliably and it would maybe be better to use another resource that specifically deals with game sales and prices such as psdeals.
  2. The series feature is in a public-beta state. At this time, there are no additional features planned for it, but there are discussions regarding some changes to the system. These discussions remain internal at this time though.
  3. The trophy advisor is a very basic function that simply just shows you what trophies you could earn in relation to the games you own. To do what you suggest would require a significant change to the feature that would probably only be indefinitely on the back burner in light of more popular requests, with more prominent support being higher priority, such as series being a full site feature and a rarity leaderboard.
  4. This is, in a way, possible but the GIT team does not currently have the ability to mark such things.

Adding the price can be achieved by:

1/ Installing PSNP+, an awesome script by @HusKy

2/ Creating an account on https://platprices.com another awesome work by @NathanielJohn

3/ Linking your platprices account with PNSP+, as described here

4/ Sending hugs to @HusKy and @NathanielJohn

My site has an API (just like IGDB) that could be used to get up-to-date pricing info in whatever the user's region is, or whatever region the trophy list corresponds to. Currently it's just a feature of PSNP+ (as mentioned by walafc0), but it'd be straightforward to add it to PSNP itself if Sly is interested.

Clearly saying when a plat is unobtainable would be a good feature.

I don't personally think it would be that important to show the price, but if it can be done easily, why not?

The feature I'd most like to see is a link to a description of the game. Many times, I see a game but can't find any info on it without googling it seperately.

There are the 'Genre' Tags in the game information tile to the right of the trophy list, with the linkable lists of games.

The problem is, half of them are wrong (I've lost count of how many times 'Adventure' is listed beside a game as a genre where it doesn't belong. 'Adventure games' are point-and-click games like the old Lucas Arts and Sierra games, not just any old game where someone is having an adventure!), and a huge number of more specific genres (the ones people would actually want to use to find similar games) are missing, such as 'Rogue-like', 'Souls-like', 'Metroidvania' etc.

To be honest, if these were overhauled it would go a long way to solving what you are suggesting.

I think it's more specific info about the game that I'd like to see. As you say, 'genre' is rather meaningless now. 'Adventure' or 'action' can mean anything but even where the genre is accurate, it still doesn't give you any specific info on the game itself.

Just adding idea from my side I would like to have possibility to see leaderboard only for games for a single region. I mean I would like to exclude from leaderboard scores achieved by players in the same game in multiple regions. Maybe it's only me, but I feel like to have plats in the same title on the same platform but in 3-4 regions is a low way to rank up, almost like purchasing trophies. So would be great to have one more filter beside platform specific filters. So in this leaderboard a game would be counted only once, disregard in how many regions it was played by a player. I wonder you opinions about it.
