I played this game in April last year. i asked around. People are still playing it, so servers are still up. You need 1 other player to get the Trophies. Multiplayer servers are UP and Autolog is fairly stable at the moment... but if no one else is playing online it is pointless. The best bet is to boost it with friends in a private lobby. Luckily my online progress was done a while back but I know EA are closing some older games down next month but I never saw NFS MW on the list.
