With Star Rail's PS5 version out, the Trophies that autopop for what I did while waiting, let's see

15 7 3  which leave me with 6 and 1 (plus ) to get on PS5. also the main/plat list is 81% so -25.

The 2nd list is at 52% before I kicked that Hunt Brat at last(I hope I won't face that brat as boss again in a long while) so -15

3 and 1 which leave me with 4 1 .

Also nice Jingliu came home after just 1 10x pull(like Ganyu did in Genshin)

Lies of P is definitely one of the good souls games probably even better than Wolong IMO. For souls fans, it's a must!

Pumpkins alert!! There are plenty pumpkins in the field. Even a big pumpkin dungeon and a shrewd pumpkin knight for a very special side quest.

Isn't it written in the rules/scoring sections of the OP that auto-popped trophies do not count for score?

Yes, that post was made to help me remember the percentage the game was in after the autopop so 81%(-25) and 52%(-15)

I have been Questing this past week.

 

Costume Quest

 

I've been meaning to replay these games for a long time and this month was finally the perfect reason. I can't believe Costume Quest is over 10 years old! It feels like just yesterday I was playing these on my Xbox 360. Amazing games, really hold up well all these years later.
 

75 + (2xG, 7xS, 8xB) = 109 - 40.57 + 50 speed run (769th/10,335) + 75 seasonal stacker (#2) = 193.43

Cat Quest

 

Had this game shelved for years. Fun little inoffensive RPG, not much meat on its bones though. I'm kind of surprised it got a physical run to be honest.

Costume Quest 2

Finished: Atelier: Escha and Logy

 

Fun: 7/10

Difficulty: 4/10

Recommend: Yes!

 

It really took me a while to get a good feel for the game. This was my first Atelier game, and although I knew crafting items were the crux of the game, I really didn't understand the nuances of how to optimize crafting until late in the game. It's a good RPG that has a very interesting and complex crafting system that really brings it all together.

 

I was a bit spooked by the time pressure in the game, but felt like I had all the time in the world on my second playthrough. Definitely recommend this one for those looking for an RPG that's a bit different. 

 

As for score:

 

100 + (2G/8S/42B) = 164 - 15.46 = 148.54

 

I don't think it has any pumpkins in it (since the world is having trouble farming as is) unfortunately.

Platinum #6:  Circus Electrique

 

100 + 70  (trophies / 42B + 5S + 3G) -  5.05 (completion) ] = 164.95

 

No seasonal bonus here; I had an argument prepared for a more generic "Halloween" condition, but there are no pumpkins in this one.

 

The designers of this game were clearly inspired by Darkest Dungeon; in particular, the battle mechanics have a ton of similarities to that title and the circus has many parallels to the "town home base" from DD.  But the atmosphere is very different, take "dark and brooding" and change it to "quirky and upbeat", transform the Gothic environment to a late 19th century Steampunk vibe.

 

(I played Darkest Dungeon back during the 2020-2021 version of this event.  With the scoring rules being what they were at the time, I managed to turn it into a nearly-1600 point game for that compeitition.)

 

A greatly enjoyable game, but as with so many RPGs gets a little grindy near the end.  100% completion gets a little tedious and repetetitive, even on the lowest difficulty to make it go faster, and playing through the entire game on the highest difficulty leads to a lot of fights against damage sponges.  Because why make enemies smarter when you can just have them soak up ungodly amounts of punishment and time?

Super Bullet Break

 

Pretty fun, unique stategy RPG. Extremely RNG based though, at least a third of the 25 hour completion time was spent reloading saves to get specific items/waifus.

75 + (1xG, 3xS, 8xB) = 95 - 5.08 + 50 speed run (1st) + 125 seasonal stacker (#4) = 264.92

 

Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD

 

This game was a much more thorough 'de-make' of FFXV than I was expecting. Chibi graphics and simplified, linear levels but everything story/dialogue/character-wise was here. I was kind of impressed.

Yes there are Pumpkins in the Dusk World of the Atelierverse well Pumpkin Bombs and i think Bell only use them in the first game of the Dusk Trilogy.

World of Final Fantasy

 

This game was excellent! I went in with low expectations because I never hear people talk about it and it's always on sale for dirt cheap but it was really enjoyable. I do have an affinity for 'monster collecting' RPGs so it was right up my alley, add onto that the amazing visuals & music and buckets of Final Fantasy fan service, I give this game 8/9 Moogles.

100 + (2xG, 12xS, 34xB) = 170 - 10.33 + 50 speed run (543rd/9201) + 275 series stacker (#11) = 484.67

 

@Psy-Tychist I noticed you didn't add Super Bullet Break onto my list. Would it not be counted?

 

Info:

It's a collectable card/character game like Slay the Spire. True Trophies has got them down as the same genre. There is a story mode which has a plot and takes you through randomised levels where your goal is to recruit characters into your party/deck. Some have passive skills that increase your max HP or how many actions you can have per turn etc and some have active skills which can debuff/cause status effects etc on the enemy. Combat is turn based, winning battles lets you choose a card/character from your opponent and you can grinding til you beat the boss. There are numerous types of decks/parties you can build, lots of options for customisation and strategy.

 

If it doesn't count, World of FF has my fourth seasonal stacker covered:

Don't panic too much on specifically doing RPG's, just have fun with games you want to play. If they include RPG's then great.

I haven't fully updated the form yet and I wanted to check the details on the game before just adding it to the spreadsheet. Shouldn't be a problem when I get around to it though.
