Popular Post x9zachattack5x
*Banner credit goes to the awesome Sadistic Waffle* Bio: I didn't own a PS3 until 2010. I started with the Xbox 360. Gross right? I was always playing Fable, Halo, Gears of War, Halo, Assassin's Creed, and Halo. Did I mention Halo? Yeah I was boss at Halo 2 and 3 back in the day. I didn't really care about achievements. /rant start: I had the original 360 which red ringed twice. The final straw is when my 360 got the open disc error. What a horribly made system the original 360 was. I was not trying to give them more money for the Elite or Slim just because they couldn't get it right the first time. In 2010, I bought an original fat 40gb PS3 (I'm now rocking a 320gb PS3) and had no problems. Yeah Sony, you know what's up. You do it right the first time! /rant over sorry about that When I got the PS3, I also re-bought Assassin's Creed 2. Now, I was used to gamerscore which is really not that interesting in my opinion. When I popped my first trophy, I was interested and actually looked at the list of trophies (I didn't look at achievements really). I just had to get the platinum. The rest, my friends, is history. I had made my first step to the Platinum Asylum.... *Under Construction* My Platinum Asylum Goals: Ultimate Goal: My ultimate goal is to become the 7th Hokage! *ahem* sorry about that. I don't know where that came from. Back on topic..... My ultimate goal is to get in the top 100 in the world and top 15 in the USA! GOALS For the Current Year: To have 220 platinum trophies by the end of 2015 To get my completion rating up to 85% 2010 (I WAS BORN ) #1- Assassin's Creed 2 Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 I originally owned this game on the 360 and played it just for the story. Once I hoped onto the PS3, however, trophies caught my interest. I enjoyed every second of getting this platinum. I even found all feathers legit (as I didn't know about trophy guides). Eagle vision really helped with that. The graphics, story, gameplay, and characters made this game an experience for me. I mean who doesn't want to run around assassinating guards and hang out with a boss like Da Vinci? The story has you hooked from beginning to the end. This is when the AC series was still great. Great first platinum! I enjoyed every moment of this masterpiece of a game. What's this feeling? They call it trophy hunting... 2011 I tested the water.... Platinum Trophies 2-9: #2- Infamous Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I got this game for free via PS Plus when PSN was down for 2 months because of the major hack. A really fun game. I love Cole and his awesome powers. I also love how you could be good or evil. Making both paths required for platinum is what this game so amazing. My only complaint is those damn shards!!!! Lol. #3- Black Ops Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 My favorite Call of Duty to this date (Black Ops III will be a close second, that Beta was sicccckkk). The story was just breathtaking. It went from Vietnam to Cold War. The story, guns, and gameplay is what made this game for me. This is the only CoD where I actually played the MP start to finish. I'm max level (15th prestige, level 50) and all my guns are golden. I kept playing so long after that, I swear my money is unlimited due to the fact that I have bought literally everything in that game. I still own this game and will probably never sell it. Too bad MP is hacked now! #4- Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 A really fun platformer. I played the game 3 times if I recall correctly. (Easy, Hard and Challenge Mode). A very easy platinum! #5- Infamous 2 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 My favorite Infamous game to this day. This game featured 40 story missions, none of which were boring. The choices in this game and their outcomes were so much more elaborate then the first installment. This game was easier than the first because the shards were easy to find due to a skill unlock that showed the closest one on your minimap. #6- Saints Row: The Third Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Haha this game. It was a lot less serious that first two, which isn't a bad thing. I guess they wanted to be different that GTA. It still had a bit of a GTA element to it though, which is good too. This game had me laughing my ass off. All trophies are very easy. The challenges, however, can be a bit of a grind. Especially the 250 million feet (Did I remember that correctly?) traveled in a vehicle challenge. #7- Megamind Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 This game requires no skill whatsoever. This platinum can be finished well under 5hrs. Not a bad movie-tie-in game though. #8- Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I'm a big Naruto gaming fan. Collecting all the Ninja info cards and titles were a pain but still very manageable. The boss fights on this game are just flawless and can blow your mind. This game is a must play for Naruto or fighting game fans! I still need to sit down and watch the whole series (I've seen a good chunk of it though). It's in my "to watch list" on Anime-Planet, so not to worry, it will be done! #9- Terminator Salvation Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 An easy movie-related platinum. Stay away from it if you only trophy hunt in games that you will actually enjoy. Not much else to say. A fantastic opening to trophy hunting. I was still in high school, (Monday-Friday 7am-3pm) so not much time for gaming those days. I was intrigued, I had to get more trophies... 2012 I had to get more.... Platinum Trophies 10-32: #10- Skyrim Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 An amazing RPG with a huge open-world. None of the trophies are difficult, just be prepared to spend over 100hrs in Skryim. With that being said, you will enjoy every second of it. I mean if you're human, you will. #11- Cars: Race-O-Roma Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 A simple, easy racing platinum. Only play if you liked the movie or you want easy trophies! #12- Transformers: Dark of the Moon Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 This game was pretty fun. I'm a hardcore Transformers fan, so that's why I gave this movie-tie in a chance. Story mode was pretty fun, but no replay value unfortunately. Getting to level 20 in MP wasn't a grind at all. Team Deathmatch was still pretty active in 2012. I assume it's dead now, so you would probably have to boost it. #13- Hannah Montana The Movie Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 4/10 This game...If it was just the concerts, I would've gave it a 6/10. However, the horse riding and carnival games just made this game super boring. Why did I play this game you ask? I was new to trophy hunting and wanted an easy platinum. I have no regrets though. Trophies are trophies ya'll. #14- Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Don't worry, I played the games in order. I just happen to platinum this game first. Uncharted 3 had a breathtaking story. Graphics were ahead of its time in 2011. Gameplay and story were addicting. I can't get enough of Nathan Drake. Bring on Uncharted 4! #15- Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 A great Naruto game, although a lot shorter. The good news is that you only need to collect 80% of all collectibles, instead of 100% like in Storm 2. I would suggest this game to any Naruto fan as it's still a great addition to the series. #16- Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus is my 3rd favorite in the series. I really enjoyed this game. It really reminded me of Crash Bandicoot. I also loved the challenging gameplay. 1 hit by an enemy and you were done. Trophies are really easy, so that's a bonus! #17- Sly 2: Band of Thieves Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Sly 2 is my favorite in the Sly Cooper series. In this game, they introduced free roam for each area of the game. The trophies in this game are even easier than in the first game. You only need to find all collectibles in one chapter, buy all upgrades and simply beat the story. If I recall correctly, I earned this platinum on my 17th birthday. #18- Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Sly 3 is my 2nd favorite in the Sly Cooper series. This game was more challenging than the first, because you had to achieve 100% in the entire game, which also meant completing all the challenges. Almost all the challenges are a cake walk, but there a few you'll find a little difficult. Which challenges you find difficult is all a matter of opinion. #19- The Penguins of Madagascar: Dr. Blowhole Returns Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 This was my first platinum of the summer of 2012. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy. Just a lot of collectibles. #20- NCIS Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Just beat the game. It's that simple lol. #21- Kingdoms of Amular: Reckoning Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 What an underrated game. This RPG was so unique. The combat, weapons and graphics were beautiful for the time in came out. My only complaint were the annoyingly long loading screens. #22- Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Charming and funny story. I was not bored at all while getting this platinum. I'm not a big PS2 platformer gamer, but this was surprisingly good. Really easy and fun platinum. A little too easy to be honest, because this game does not prepare you for Jak II. The difficulty was quite the opposite for the second game haha. I'm glad this series got a remaster. My least favorite in the series, but not a bad game! #23- Men in Black: Alien Crisis Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 4/10 My last platinum in the summer of 2012. Only get this game if you want easy trophies. What an eye sore this game was. I would rather play Heavy Fire 3 more times then play this game again. #24- Red Faction: Armageddon Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I'm a big Red Faction fan, so I loved this game. I'm sad that it didn't have an open world like Guerrilla did, but it makes sense the direction it took. Some people complained about Insane difficulty, but the with the Unicorn butt gun, (you heard right mofos!) that difficulty was a piece of cake. When I played this game in 2012, the servers were still active. I'm not sure how active MP is these days. #25- Spec Ops: The Line Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 I absolutely loved this game. To avoid any spoilers, I won't go into detail, but I want to leave enough for you guys to go play the game. The story has you as a soldier that slowly goes insane from the situation you are currently in. There are quite a few choices to make in the game, and there are 3 different endings if I remember correctly. It's a great 3rd person shooter, that features like 5 difficulty levels. F.U.B.A.R. (hardest) was definitely my favorite difficulty level. #26- Lollipop Chainsaw Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Hahahahaha. Pretty much sums it up. In this game, you're a sexy high school cheerleader that must kill all her classmates with a chainsaw, because they turned into zombies! What's not to love? Main character is pretty, hilarious dialogue, 2 different endings, insane gameplay, and zombies! Go play it now! #27- Mafia 2 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 9.5/10 One of the greatest games of the PS3. Game has you hooked from beginning to the end. This platinum was super fun. This one of the few games that has "rewarding" collectibles. Bring on Mafia III #28- Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I loved playing as the Green Lantern. It wasn't too boring either. A sweet bonus is that the platinum is super easy! #29- CSI: Fatal Conspiracy Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Game is incredibly boring. NCIS was a lot better. It might have to do with the fact that I hate the CSI TV show and love NCIS haha. They really need to make a Law and Order: SVU game! #30- Ben 10 Omniverse Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 My first Ben 10 game on the PS3. It wasn't a great game, but not awful either. It was short and easy platinum, which is always good! #31- The Saboteur Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Yet another insanely fun, underrated PS3 game. I really don't get the hate for this game. You're an Irish guy running around and blowing stuff up in Nazi occupied Paris, France during World War II. You're the Saboteur! Another cool feature to this game is that Paris in in black and white at first. Once you liberate a section of the city, the color returns. I thought that was a really cool idea. Go play the game now! Follow Shia Labeouf's advice and JUSSSST DO IT! #32- Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 A pretty fun addition to the series. It's a base assault game. It would've got a perfect score, but the campaign was unrealistically short. Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Naruto UNG, Kingdoms of Amular, Red Faction Armageddon, Spec Ops, Mafia 2 and The Saboteur really made 2012 a really fun and challenging (for a beginner) year. All the other platinum trophies were fun as well but they were easy. A great starter list if I say so myself! Little I did I know, trophy hunting is a disease that once started, cannot be stopped! 2013 I Couldn't Stop! Platinum Trophies 33-85: #33- Walking Dead Season One (PS3) Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Telltale really nailed it with this game. The choices you could make, the character development, and the ending were all just an experience. A must play and an easy platinum as well! Just beat the game to acquire this awesome platty. #34- Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I don't get all the hate for this game. Sure it's no super smash bros., but Sony made a really good game. Fighting with each of the Sony exclusive characters and a few guests from cross-console games was super fun. The only reason it was a 7/10 is because while going for the platinum, it got a little repetitive. #35- Rise of the Guardians Difficulty: 1.5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I was actually amazed of how easy this game was. All collectibles were on the map, so this game was almost zero challenge whatsoever. Not a bad game either, I rarely found myself too bored while going for the platinum. #36- Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Cloudy with a chance of mother clucking meatballs. A pretty boring, repetitive game. The game controls were pretty awkward as well. The levels were kind of funny though! But you know, trophies. If you're in a easy platinum mood, go for it! #37- Back to the Future: The Game Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Another great game by Telltale. If you're looking for a fun time traveling game, then look no further. This game has a ridiculous amount of bronze trophies though! #38- Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Naruto Storm 3 was truly an amazing game. The boss battles were fantastic, and somehow topped Storm 2! The graphics and gameplay were top notch. The amount of characters usable in this game was insane too! Bring on Storm 4! #39- Kung Fu Panda 2 Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 I just love Kung Fu Panda. I've always enjoyed the movies and the TV show wasn't that bad as well. When I heard about this game and that it had trophies, I went ahead and rented this sucker. Be warned, a tonnn of collectibles are required for the platinum. This game isn't huge though, so you should have no problem. #40- Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 My favorite Assassin's Creed to date. I'm still waiting for Ubisoft to finally top this game. First of all, you play as Ezio in Rome, Italy. That alone should sell you. Not enough? Look at the title, you get to raise your own Brotherhood! You can level up your assassins and even use them in battle! You can ride your horse throughout the city, replay memories (Was first introduced in this game), it has an addicting storyline, and flawless gameplay. Even the multiplayer (as I usually hate 3rd person MP) was fantastic! I really wish Ubisoft would go back to the original AC MP. It was flawless and was just ruined after Revelations (Pretty much the same as Brotherhood, just a little different). I couldn't stand AC3 and AC4 MP. Anyways, I doubt Ubisoft will ever top this perfection. #41- Heavy Fire Afghanistan (NA) Difficulty: 1.5/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 A "rail-shooter". If you don't know what that means: it means your character stays in one place until you take all the enemies out, then moves to the next area, rinse and repeat. That being said, it wasn't too bad of a game. You'll have to play the game twice, but the platinum can be done in less than 10hrs, so it's no sweat. #42- Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 I'm a sucker for Call of Duty stories, that's why I get them every year. I love story mode in games. Shooter games are probably my favorite genre in gaming, so this game nailed it. The story and graphics were fabulous. Even though Spec Ops mode could be a pain in the ass, my next door neighbor and I loved taking the challenge! It took me awhile to platinum this game (not that it was hard), because I took a break from spec ops mode due to my friend moving away. I eventually came back to it with an awesome PSN friend and we hammered it out. #43- Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 I found it hard to believe, but Infinity Ward somehow topped (again my opinion, I know people will disagree) MW2. The story was a great conclusion to the MW trilogy. I'm glad spec ops returned, and this game also had a new addition of survival. Getting to level 50 in survival, which was required fro platinum, was a really fun experience. #44- Call of Duty World at War Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 I'm a sucker for history, so I loved this game. I know it's not super accurate, but even so, I enjoy it. Veteran was a pain in the ass because of one game flaw. The enemies had unlimited grenades stored up their anuses. The grenade spam was unreal in that game. That just made the platinum more epic in my opinion though! #45- Call of Duty Black Ops II Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This was the last CoD I fully enjoyed (I think Black Ops III will change that). I loved how Treyarch introduced story-changing choices into this installment. Both story mode and MP were pretty fun this go around. This CoD was the second must difficult CoD platinum I've obtained. #46- Borderlands Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This series one of the best on the PS3. I love first person shooters and RPGs, and what is this game? A perfect mix of the two. It's definitely worth the 50+hrs needed for all the trophies and I highly recommend this game. #47- Call of Duty Classic Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 This is the hardest CoD platinum I have obtained. (I've heard Black Ops on the Vita is the hardest) The veteran mode grueling and hardcore. Unless you want a big challenge, stay away from this game. #48- Brink Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 This game was very fun the first 10hrs, then just got super repetitive, There are only 15ish levels and you must replay them over and over again until to obtain the platinum. Easy, but boring platinum. Getting to level 20 is quite the grind. The choices is yours. #49- Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 The Uncharted series is fantastic. In each game, you explore so much. This was my least favorite in the series, but as you can tell by the rating, it's still a great game in my opinion. Controls are a little awkward, but what do you expect? Naughty Dog was used to Jak & Daxter and Crash Bandicoot, so this was there first take an 3rd person action-adventure shooter. Anyways, great series, you need to try it if you haven't already. #50- LittleBigPlanet 2 Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 LittleBigPlanet 2 was a great game. It was fun, funny, and a bit challenging as well. Acing all the level was not easy for me. I'm decent at platformers, but acing all the levels proved to be a challenge for me. What was worse was acing 10 levels in a row. I was lucky enough to ace the last 10 levels in a row. I almost died so many times on the boss level, that I thought my heart was going to explode. I don't know if I could've handled acing 10 levels in a row again. #51- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Uncharted 2 is definitely my favorite in the series so far. There were so many improvements over the first game. The story, gameplay, scenery, and character development were all alot better in this game. Not to mention, Chloe's ass. Who couldn't love that work of art? The MP in this game was a lot better than in Uncharted 3 in my opinion. #52- Red Faction: Guerrilla Difficulty: 8/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 What a ride this game was. First off, I had the best boosting experience I have EVER had in this game. I had so much fun getting the MP trophies in this game, that I almost forgot that we had to win 250 games, get 10,000 kills, and complete all 16 hidden challenges. What made this game difficult was completing all 101 (or however many there were) Guerrilla actions. That was a major pain in the ass, because it was glitched to hell. That is the only thing that ruined this game's chances of being a perfect score in my book. The platinum is so ultra rare. #53- Tomb Raider (PS3) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Square Enix nailed it with this game. Not a moment in this game was dull one. This was a prequel to all the other Tomb Raider games, so Lara was new to survival. That made the game experience much more fun. My only complaints is that the Tombs were too easy and there only 7 of them. Kind of took the challenge out of the Tomb Raider series. Other than that, the game was fantastic. The story was one of the best I've seen in any game. #54- Wet Difficulty: 8/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 It's short for wetwork. This game is really underrated. I enjoyed being a badass chick going on killing rampages. It was like Kill Bill meets Stranglehold meets James Bond meets Wanted, That's one awesome combo to me! The platinum was also super challenging, so that's a plus. #55- Sleeping Dogs (PS3) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Sleeping dogs was a really fun game. You're a cop that must work with the triads in China to take them down. It's like Grand Theft Auto and True Crime and had a baby. Not much else to say, but to go try it for yourselves! #56- Heavy Fire Shattered Spear Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Shattered Spear was slightly more interesting than Afghanistan, but slightly more difficult. Only thing that made it slightly harder was the fact that they added collectibles to this installment. With that being said, you're still looking at an insanely easy platinum. #57- Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 This Ratchet & Clank is my least favorite to date. The story was boring, the maps were lame, and the uhm...er... It just wasn't Insomniac's best work! It took me over a year to come back to this game and platinum it. #58- Spare Parts Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Another boring, but easy platinum. Not much to say about this game. A gold mine like Terminator! #59- Far Cry 3 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This was the first game I played in the Far Cry series. What an entrance to the series. The development of the main character was innocent tourist to the badass insane killer! Vaas was the perfect antagonist to the main character. Vaas is one of my most favorite villains of all time now. This game is a must play and isn't that hard of a platinum either! #60- Sound Shapes (PS3) Difficulty 6/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Sound Shapes is a pretty good indie game. The campaign was pretty addicting, beat school was entertaining, and death mode was quite the challenge. When you finally beat all those death mode levels, it's really worth it. Just platinum the game once and you can get 5 free platinums. #61- Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 I was very happy when the creators of Family Guy decided to do a game on the PS3 with trophies. I love this hilarious show so of course I was going to give this game a try. The story was hilarious and fun. My favorite part of the game was definitely the survival portion of the game. If you love the show, I'd give this game a try. #62- Legends of War: Patton (PS3, NA, Physical Copy) Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 I don't know why, but I really enjoyed this game. I guess it's because I'm a history nerd. I usually hate turn-based strategy gameplay, but something about it being WWII just made me fall in love with this little game. #63- God of War: Chains of Olympus Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I was hesitant to try this game at first because of the fact is was a PSP game at first. I'm glad I gave it a try though. The story was interesting like all the other God of War games. I'd say this God of War is my least favorite, but still a really good game. Besides, who can say no to an easy platinum? #64- Sniper Elite V2 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I love me some sniper games. I also love the slow-mo of the kills. Getting a testicle shot just makes me laugh. #65- Turbo: Super Stunt Squad Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I'm proud to say, that I was the first in the world to platinum this game. I even beat the infamous Wozamil by almost 24hrs. This game is not what you would expect. The movie was about racing, but the game was like Tony Hawk games. You spent your time doing tricks and finding collectibles in each skate park. Pretty repetitive platinum, but not too bad of a game. #66- God of War: Ghost of Sparta Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This is by far one of the best God of War games to date. The story is what really sold me on this game. The gameplay is what you would expect from any God of War game. Spoilers are really limiting this review. All I can say is, that you need to play this game to meet someone important! #67- Trine 2 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 I didn't really like this game. All it was to me, was an easy platinum. #68- God of War III (PS3) Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9.5/10 THE. BEST. GOD. OF. WAR. AH! The boss battles, the gameplay, the graphics, the characters, the weapons..... JUST KRATOS! If you haven't played this game yet, you're missing out on one of the best PS3 games. This was one of my first games I played on the PS3, and it is what sold me on the entire system! #69- Saints Row IV (PS3) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment 8/10 Lol, this was platinum 69. What a perfect coincidence haha. Anyways, this game was hilarious! The weapons, story, and characters just had me laughing like a dumbass the whole game. It wasn't as good as Saints Row the Third, but definitely worth the play! #70- Hitman: Absolution Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I thought Hitman: Absolution was a great game. I loved the stealth, kill options and levels in this game. It makes me want to go back and play the trilogy. I can't wait for the Hitman game coming December 2015. #71- [Prototype 2] Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 [Prototype 2] was a fantastic game. The super powers and abilities were super fun. The story wasn't too bad either. Sometimes I would find myself running around the city just causing mayhem for no reason. I really needed a game like this while I was waiting for Infamous: Second Son. I'm really tempted to buy it on the PS4. I'll wait for a price drop though! #72- Alpha Protocol Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 This masterpiece of a game.....so much hate for this underrated game. Alpha Protocol was an amazing espionage RPG. The amount of choices in the game was surprising. Every dialogue/action choice you make affects you the rest of the game. You go to any of the countries in any order as well, which also affected the story in different ways. This was a true spy game. Intel you found throughout levels could be used to your benefit, because you learned more about your enemies, the level, and black market deals. I played this game like 7 or 8 times before I got the platinum, when only 3 were needed technically. SEGA really nailed it with this game, and everyone should try this game out. #73- The Testament of Sherlock Holmes Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 I love Sherlock Holmes (especially Sherlock Holmes BBC) so I just had to try this game out. The game was decent. It's pretty easy as well. It could be as low as 1/10 for difficulty if you use a guide. I only used the guide for couple trophies. I did all the puzzles legit though. It too me a few days, but well worth it. #74- Up Difficulty: 1.5/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 An insanely easy platinum. A pretty short game as well. Only thing that didn't make this a straight 1/10 difficulty was that there were collectibles to be found. #75- Bodycount Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 There was indeed Bodycount involved. This game was.... different, but enjoyable. Online trophies are easily boostable, so don't get freaked out by them. I know MP trophies suck, but trust me, they're easy. The story trophies are pretty easy as well. A few hard parts on hard difficulty, but that's most games on hard. Overall, an interesting and easy game. #76- Damage Inc. Pacific Squadron WWII Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Another game that unleashed the inner nerd in me! Any thing to do with history, accurate or not, catches my attention. You be able to tell soon that I love aircraft games as well. Aircraft games that have to do with WWII especially. Anybody want to buy me Combat Wings: The Great Battles of World War II? Online is dead, so that must be boosted unfortunately. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME NOW, AS THE GAME'S PLATINUM IS NOW UNATTAINABLE. #77- Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Bad Company 2 is my favorite Battlefield game to this day. The story and MP were both fantastic. I did everything legit in MP, except for 20 demolition kills. I unfortunately had to boost that. People just would not let me crush them with buildings! Weird right? WHY WOULD YOU RUN OUT OF A COLLAPSING BUILDING? Lol anyways, I loved the Multiplayer in this game. #78- Air Conflicts: Pacific Carriers Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Here we go again, another WWII Aircraft game and in the Pacific again. YAY! Lord help us all. Of course I loved this game. Air Conflicts isn't a bad series either. #79- Assassin's Creed Revelations Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 What a fantastic ending to the Ezio trilogy. Revelations was my least favorite of the Ezio games, but still a fantastic installment in the Assassin's Creed series. Running around as old Ezio was both entertaining and honoring. I loved being able to play with Ezio over a 40yr span of his life. The MP was also great, because it was basically Brotherhood MP. Go play the Ezio trilogy if you haven't. It'll be one of the best experiences in your gaming life. #80- Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Hot Pursuit was my first Need for Speed platinum. I'm glad I started with this NFS. You got to play as both the racers and cops. I loved racing and avoiding deathtraps, as well as being a cop and taking down criminals. The Multiplayer was a mess in my opinion but still was a decent experience. I'd recommend this game to any racing gamer. #81- Air Conflicts: Vietnam Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Vietnam was my least favorite in the Air Conflicts series, but still not a horrible game. Another MP game that needs to be boosted unfortunately, as it is a ghost town. #82- Jak II Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Jak II was insanely hard game (gameplay wise) because of the spread out checkpoint system and unforgiving enemies. With that being said, Jak II was also my favorite game in the trilogy. The story was fantastic. A must play. #83- Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires was a pretty fun game. It was entertaining to be able to run up to a platoon of enemies and kill 50 of them in one-two slices of sword. A fun easy platinum, just a little time consuming. #84- Deep Black Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 3/10 Whoever made this game should be slapped in the face. This game was an atrocity. The story and dialogue painfully boring. The gameplay was randomly hard for no reason. I'm not complaining about the difficulty, I'm complaining about the ridiculous random spikes. There is no difficult trophy so playing on easy is the reasonable choice. Yeah it's easy, until randomly enemies can kill you in one hit with out warning. Then it goes back to being easy, then randomly gets insanely hard again. All I can say is, that this game was horribly designed and the developer should just get punched in the face. Only play for an easy platinum. No scratch that! Spend your money on something else! /rant over. #85- Jak 3 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Jak 3 is my second favorite in the trilogy. Also, the difficulty was dropped in this game. If you enjoyed the first 2, you need to finish up the trilogy and play this game. Ah, good ol' 2013. This is the year I really got into trophy hunting. This is also when I started caring about my completion rating! At this point, my completion rating a measly 59%. 2013 is probably my favorite trophy hunting year so far. I had a great time with shooters, action, and adventure/rpg games. I started with Walking Dead and ended Jak 3. Awesome, right? If could re-do any trophy hunting year, this would be the year! Was this becoming second nature? 2014 Second nature by now? Platinum Trophies 86-141: #86- Time Leap Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 This was my first visual novel. I really enjoyed hearing all those trophies. #87- Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Don't worry, I played the first game first. I loved Sniper Ghost Warrior 2. I just love me some sniping games. It was great improvement in graphics and it had a slight story improvement. Nuff' said. #88- Air Conflicts: Secret Wars Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 You already know I love this game. It has airplanes and it's set in WWII. This is my crack. #89- Red Dead Redemption Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 It took me awhile to come back and do the online trophies and 1 story trophy for this game. I played it 3 times back when I didn't care about trophies, so I had a little burnout with this game. #90- Ben 10 Omniverse 2 Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Pretty boring game, even more so than the first. Easy platinum again for the Omniverse duo. #91- Sniper: Ghost Warrior Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Sniper: Ghost Warrior is what really got me into sniper games. It was one of the first games I played on PS3. I platinumed the second, so I just had to go back for the first. I can't wait for Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3. #92- Sound Shapes (PS4, NA) Difficulty: 0/10 Enjoyment: 9.9999/10 My first auto-pop platinum. OoooooOoooo did I enjoy it. Read #60 for more info. #93- Call of Duty Ghosts (PS3) Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I love me some Infinity Ward stories. Ghost single player had me hooked from the start. They always leave such good cliffhangers at the end! I also really enjoyed Extinction. I like it better than zombies, but hey, that's just my opinion. #94- Call of Duty Ghosts (PS4) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Not much to say, it being a stack and all. I loved the graphic improvement over the PS3. It was also easier the second go around. #95- Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 I absolutely loved Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel. I loved the cooperative gameplay, the story, and scenery. If you loved the other two games, you'll love this one for sure! I was actually surprised that I loved this game so much. #96- Tom's Clancy H.A.W.X. Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 This was yet another great aircraft warfare game. H.A.W.X. platinum was both challenging, and fun as hell. #97- Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Lightning Returns was so awesome! I loved the combat system in this game. The story was great, and the whole time-pressure thing made the game so enjoyable. I just love me some Lightning. This game is a must play for RPG lovers. #98- Dead Island Riptide Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 I thought that Dead Island Riptide was just going to be another zombie game. Well, I'm happy that I was proven wrong. I had so much fun playing this game with a friend, that I swear, the trophies came by accident. My friend had so much fun with the game as well, that he even got the platinum. He's not even a trophy hunter, that's how fun the game is. #99- Infamous Second Son Difficulty: 1.5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Infamous Second Son was such a beautifully done game. The graphics, characters, and powers were just off the wall awesome. The only thing that ruined this being a perfect score for me, is that this game stupidly short. Not worth the 60$ I spent, length wise. Other than that, a must play for Infamous lovers. #100- Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag was an awesome choice for #100. This game was super refreshing. I loved being able to freely use a ship (unlike the restricted AC3 ship gameplay) and just exploring the Atlantic Ocean, well Caribbean Sea to be more specific. Also, being able to carry 4 pistols was just badass. My only complaint is that they took the already bad AC3 MP and made it even worse. #101- Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X 2 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 After playing the first game, I just had to try out H.A.W.X. 2. It was an easier platinum than the first. It also had more better gameplay and graphics! I liked the story better in the first though. Anyways, if you're looking for challenging, but fun aircraft games, be sure to try out the two H.A.W.X. games! #102- Two Worlds II Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Two Worlds II is one of the most underrated RPGs out there. Sure, the graphics weren't that great but who cares. This company did what they could with the finances they had. What sell in me in a RPG is the story, gameplay and weapons/magic. This game was just truly awesome. The company who made this game unfortunately went under after this game, but please support their awesome game. #103- God of War (PS3) Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I can't believe how great the first God of War was. It's like, can Santa Monica make a bad game? I don't think it's possible. Even the first level in this game is insanely epic! I loved the beat the game in under 5 hour trophy. It made a second playthrough that much more fun. #104- Watch Dogs (PS4) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Ubisoft really nailed it with Watch Dogs. I just loved hacking the and doing whatever the hell I wanted. I did bother PS4 and PS3 versions launch date (I bought PS4 version, and was luckily randomly given PS3 version for my birthday!) Since, I did them launch week, I did the drinking game pre-patched. I cannot believe that people complained about the difficulty of the drinking game. The challenge is what made it so much fun! Sorry rant over! Go play this game if you haven't already! #105- Watch Dogs (PS3) Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Easier this go around, but less enjoyable due to problems with PS3 version. Granted this was before the game got major patches. #106- Magus Difficulty: 1.5/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Just hold R1 for a few hours, and platinum will be achieved. #107- Borderlands 2 (PS3) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 I loved every second of this game. Great RPG. Fantastic story. Awesome weapons. Hilarious characters. Tiny Tina will make your day! Why are still reading this review, go play Borderlands 2! #108- SpongeBob Squarepants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 What dumb grind this game is. Such a short story, The story takes like 2-3hrs to finish. Then you have max all the characters out which takes triple the time of just finishing the story. Granted it's a 10-12hr platinum, but the most boring 10hrs you'll ever spend. #109- Minecraft (PS3) Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Eh. I don't get all the hype for this game. I only gave it a 7/10 because of the cool things you can build. It just gets boring after awhile though. #110- Battlefield 3 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Yet another awesome Battlefield game. The story, coop, and MP were all super addicitng. I just loved getting to level 45 without boosting in between platinum trophies. If you lover shooters, this is a great one! #111- Assassin's Creed Liberation HD (PS3) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Liberation is my least favorite Assassin's Creed. Now, that doesn't mean that it's horrible or anything. I just found the game really short, the maps were small and the combat was a little off. Not a bad story though, I found it enjoyable. #112- Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days Difficulty: 7/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Ah, Kane & Lynch. What an.... interesting game. Story and MP were pretty awful. Gameplay wasn't too bad either. Also, playing the game with a friend made it slightly more enjoyable. A coop playthrough is required for the platinum by the way. #113- Battlefield 4 Enjoyment: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 This game was a total shit show. You get punished if you play MP before the singleplayer. I obtained all the MP trophies first, because I didn't know about what a failure this game was. If you played MP first, your save in singleplayer had a 75% chance to get erased after you turned off your system. My saved data erased 3 times before it finally worked. The only reason I gave it a 7/10 was because of the MP. The MP is super fun, like all Battlefield games. It could've had potential to be a perfect rating, if the story mode wasn't a total shit show. #114- Battleship Enjoyment: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Battleship wasn't too bad of a game. I really enjoyed the Call of Duty vibe while killing aliens. #115- Assassin's Creed III Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 At first, I was hesitant about Assassin's Creed III. It was soooo different from the first 4 games. I know, call me old-fashioned. After playing the game for a few hours, I fell in love with the game. Again, I'm a history nerd, so playing through the American Revolution as an assassin was just freaking awesome. My only complaint is that they brought back the regenerative health from AC1. I really enjoyed having to drink medicine and fix my armor in the Ezio trilogy, because it felt more realistic. I got used to it though. Also, the MP sucked.... Brotherhood and Revelations had the best AC MP. They ruined it starting with this game. #116- Medal of Honor (2010) Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This game was freaking amazing. The story was awesome, the graphics were great, and the MP was challenging, yet addicting! A must play for shooter fans. Now I need to go play Warfighter and Frontline! #117- Infamous First Light Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Playing as Fetch was cool. I loved seeing her backstory. Challenge mode was pretty freaking fun. Well worth the 14.99$ price tag. Platinum is easy too! #118- Sounds Shapes (PS Vita) Difficulty 0/10 Enjoyment: 9.9999999/10 Auto-pop platinum. Read #60 for more info. #119- Sounds Shapes (PS4, EU) Difficulty: 0/10 Enjoyment: 9.999999/10 Auto-pop platinum. Read #60 for more info. #120- Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition (PS4) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 I had to give Lara Croft another run. Replaying the story was just as fun as playing it the first. Well... maybe not as fun because I knew what was going to happen, but still pretty damn fun! Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition's graphics were outstanding. I had to boost the MP this time though. No way I was getting to level 60 legit again. This game is a must play for Tomb Raider fans. #121- God of War II (PS3) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 God of War II was a fantastic entry to the series. Surprisingly, it was better than the first game! This game is weirdly the only God of War I didn't play more than once. I really need to fix that. I love the God of War series. #122- Air Conflicts: Vietnam - Ultimate Edition (PS4) Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Round two on the PS4! Not real improvements over the PS3 version. It might have run slightly, and I do mean slightly, better. Well, another easy platinum! I was also in the first 50 to get platinum again in this game! #123- Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 This Naruto game disappointed me slightly. The platinum was just one big repetitive grind and so was the game itself. Graphics and gameplay were improved though! I can't wait for Storm 4! #124- Generator Rex: Agent of Providence Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Just an easy platinum. Not much else to say. It has some God of War elements to it, surprisingly. #125- Need For Speed: The Run Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 Need For Speed: The Run was super addicting. I loved how much of a challenge this was compared to Hot Pursuit. The challenge levels were super fun to get gold on. Only one challenge was insanely hard, other than, it was just a nice, fun challenge. I also loved racing people in MP. MP is the fastest way to level up now by the way! #126- Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PS3) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time was my least favorite Sly Cooper game. Maybe because Sucker Punch didn't make it! It's still an enjoyable game for the fans. I really hope they make a Sly 5, but I doubt that'll ever happen. #127- Starhawk Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Starhawk was quite the challenging platinum, but still pretty fun. It was very unique in gameplay and artwork. I love being able to call just about anything you would need via an orbital drop. Great game, and the platinum is so Ultra Rare. #128- Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 The only thing that saved Legend of the Guardians from a horrible rating, was the it was a flying game. It was pretty fun attacking owls, but other than just boring. I jammed to some Eminem, Christina Grimmie, Lil Wayne, and Dr. Dre while getting this platinum. #129- The Walking Dead Season One (PS4) Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Walking Dead by Telltale is well worth the replay, I had to play it again. See #33 for more details. #130- Game of Thrones Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Game of Thrones is an underrated RPG. I found it really fun and it reminded me a lot of Dragon Age. #131- Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Eat Lead was freaking hilarious. It made fun of so many games. Story was great as well, but gameplay is what made my personal rating suffer a little. #132- Assassin's Creed Unity Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Assassin's Creed Unity did not live up to its hype. It had so many bugs/glitches and just wasn't as fun as Ubisoft fluffed it up to be. Damn right Ubisoft gave me Far Cry 4 for the PS4 for free! I really hope Assassin's Syndicate lives up to what it means to be an Assassin's Creed game. #133- Frozen Synapse Prime Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Frozen: Synapse Prime started off as a fun and challenging strategy game, but it got boring fast. #134- Where The Wild Things Are Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Just another typical movie-related platinum. Easy like always. #135- The Wolf Among Us (PS3) Difficulty: 1.5/10 Enjoyment: 9.5/10 The Wolf Among Us is another fantastic game made by Telltale. I just loved playing all the Fables. I really hope they make a season 2! #136- Assassin's Creed Rogue Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Assassin's Creed Rogue was soooo much better than Unity. Kind of sad that their PS3, last-gen game was more fun that "so amazing first exclusive current-gen game" that they called Unity. Right. "Please"- Barney Stinson Rogue was super refreshing and a bold move by Ubi. You play as Shay who is a Templar. Pretty sick right? In this game the Assassins are considered the bad guys. The naval gameplay is greatly improved from AC4, so yet another awesome reason to go play Rogue. I won't spoil anything, but there's an awesome little connection between Rogue and Unity. So play Rogue first. I didn't know about this, but it still worked out okay. Moral of the story: Unity is bad! Rogue is good! My opinion, but also the opinion of many! #137- Wolfenstein: The New Order (PS4) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Wolfenstein: The New Order was my first Wolfenstein game and I loved it. The graphics and gameplay were incredible. The story had you hooked too. Should we expect anything less than a game made by Bethesda? Pretty much any game killing Nazis is a good time for me. #138- Farcry Classic Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I'm really glad Ubisoft decided to port Farcry Classic over and give it trophies. For a PS2 shooter, this game really surprised me. A great game, and all Farcry fans should try it out! #139- Monsters Vs. Aliens Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Another easy movie-related platinum. However, trophies are trophies ya'll. #140- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 6.5/10 Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 isn't the best Harry Potter game. Only play for an easy platinum. Be warned though, the 1,000 kills trophy should unlock in the first playthrough, but sometimes doesn't. I got scared because it didn't unlock for me until the 3rd playthrough. That trophy can glitch, so be forewarned. You need to play the game 3 times anyway though, difficulty trophies do not stack. #141- Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (PS Vita) Difficulty: 0/10 Enjoyment: 9.9999/10 Auto-pop platinum. See #126 for more details. 2014 was a close second 2013 of being my favorite year. 2014 was my ultra rare year. I'm not saying I got a ton of ultra rare, but I got a nice handful of them. Other than the UR platty, I obtained a lot of fun platinum trophies as well. I was preparing myself for the legendary year. I just had to obtain 200, just had to. Popular Post x9zachattack5x
2015 This year is going to legen...wait for it...dary! Legendary! Platinum Trophies 142-? #142- WRC 4 FIA World Rally Championship Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 WRC 4 was fun racing game. It was incredibly fun and a new feeling, at first. It got kind of boring after a while though. The cars don't go that fast because of the different terrains and city driving. I loved driving in different conditions though! #143- The Walking Dead Season One (PS Vita) Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Walking Dead by Telltale is well worth the replay, I had to play it again. See #33 for more details. #144- Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (PS3) Difficulty: 3.5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Advanced Warfare is probably my least favorite Call of Duty game. The story was great, because I love Call of Duty story modes. The exo-survival was pretty cool. The framerate really sucks in the later round though. I hate the MP in this installment. #145- Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (PS4) Difficulty: 2.5/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Easier this go around because of two things. I knew what I was doing, and the framerate was great in the PS4 version. I flipped the map twice solo on my first try. I couldn't do it solo in the PS3 version because of the horrible framerate issues. The framerate and better graphics in this version made my enjoyment go up slightly. #146- Far Cry 4 (PS3) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I knew this game was going to be great because how good Far Cry 3 was. I found the gameplay, weapons, and scenery better in Far Cry 4, but the story was great in Far Cry 3, that they tied up in enjoyment. Far Cry 4 was fantastic, and had quite a few choices for the player to make throughout the game. Kyrat was so fun to explore as well. Like shooter RPGs? You've found your series right here. #147- Wanted (NA) Difficulty: 3/10 Difficulty: 7/10 I loved the movie, so I decided to give the Wanted game a try. I thought it was really cool being able to curve bullets to your advantage. It had some issues with gameplay bugs, but easily overlooked. I was happy to find out that this game also featured an easy platinum after starting it up. #148- Far Cry 4 (PS4) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Graphics were slightly better in PS4 version, see #146 for more information. #149- The Wolf Among Us (PS4) Difficulty: 1.5/10 Enjoyment: 9.5/10 Any Telltale game is worth the replay, see #135 for more information. #150- Ratchet & Clank: Into The Nexus Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Into the Nexus was surprisingly a good Ratchet and Clank game! I really did not like All4One, and while I did enjoy Full Frontal Assault, it was insanely short! Into the Nexus brought in an awesome new enemy (she's not Dr. Nefarious, but she's cool) and hilarious new additions to the game. Graphics and sound effects were fantastic. I'd suggest this game to any Ratchet and Clank fan. #151- Heavy Rain Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I'm actually disappointed I did not make this platinum #150, but I digress. Heavy Rain was fantastic drama game. The graphics were surprisingly really realistic and this was a 2010 game! Hard to write a review for this game because it is so story heavy. I'd say, take my word for it and go play it. You won't be sorry. #152- Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell (PS3) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Besides the graphics somehow getting worse in every installment, Gat out of Hell was a hilarious and fun game. The fact the game developers thought of this just makes lol. You run around hell, causing havoc to get Satan's attention. And what's better is, you get angelic wings to fly around hell Steelport! #153- Need For Speed: Rivals (PS3) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 I was hesitant to buy this game at first, because of the whole online connected world. I'm glad I went ahead got Rivals though. It took everything I loved about Hot Pursuit, and perfected it. It's the same county you play in on Hot Pursuit, but this time, you get to actually drive around the whole county! Also, the driving felt smoother, the graphics were a lot better, the takedowns felt more real, and the racing was a lot more intense and felt less constricted. If you loved Hot Pursuit, (PS3, or PS2 version) you should instantly fall in love with Rivals. #154- Ben 10 Galactic Racing Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 You can tell I still had the racing fever, right? I actually enjoyed Ben 10 Galactic Racing! It reminded me a lot of Mario Kart on the Gamecube and N64 back in the day. In this game, you get to drive around in little go carts with a bunch of the characters from Ben 10! Trophy-wise, it's pretty easy and not very time consuming at all, so bonus! #155- Dragon Age: Origins Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 Dragon Age: Origins is another game I took forever to platinum. Not because it was difficult or anything, I just had no interest in getting the platinum in this masterpiece for the longest time. I played this game 5 or 6 times before I decided to bury the hatchet. The graphics and framerate were definitely lacking in this game, but that didn't bother me. The gameplay, story and characters is what sold me. The dialogue and romance choices only made the game even better. If you're looking for a good RPG and haven't played this game yet....WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?!? Sorry, *ahem* that was rude, I just love this game. Anyways, I would suggest this to any story, RPG, or adventure lover! #156- The Cursed Crusade Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 The Cursed Crusade is another very underrated game. I found it very enjoyable. You play as a crusader that is marked with a curse. Your partner happens to be cursed as well. You play as a soldier during the crusades and at the same time, you're trying to avoid Death, who is following you. That's the best way to describe the game without any spoilers. I'm a sucker for the underdog games, but you guys have probably already noticed that by now. #157- Damnation Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 3/10 Remember that bit about me being an underdog supporter? Scratch that for this game. Damnation was a horrible piece of shi....itake mushroom. It took me forever to come back an platinum this game. I beat the whole game on the hardest difficulty just for the game to glitch out on one chapter and not give me credit for beating the whole game on the hardest difficulty. So when I eventually mustered enough stomach strength to play this game again, I replayed the chapter and got the dreaded platinum. Stay away from this game. The platinum is so easy, but yet is marked rare, even on this website. That shows that so many people have just dropped this game because of how crappy it was made. #158- Borderlands 2 (PS4) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 I'm so happy Borderlands 2 came to the PS4, so I could play it yet again. See #107 for more information. #159- The Order: 1886 Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 The Order: 1886 was brilliant game. The graphics were stunning and the story was fantastic. I was really surprised of how well done this game was. The same people who made God of War made this game, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. The only downside to this game, is that it was incredibly short. Hopefully this was kind of like a demo for a possible sequel. #160- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel (PS4) Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This was the first time I got to experience Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. I heard mixed things about this game, but I'm glad to say that I loved this game. It didn't top Borderlands 2 in my book, but it was still a great game. Getting to understand Handsome Jack more, only made the series that much more interesting and funny. #161- Cars 2 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I did the first game so long ago in the Platinum, I figured, hell why not. Not a bad racing game. I enjoyed the movies growing up, so I guess I had a soft spot for this game. #162- Chivalry: Medieval Warfare Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Chivalry: Medieval Warfare was a pretty online-only game. The game's title basically lets you know what it's about. You just go around swingng swords at people. The trophies are heavy weapon and exp related. So this is by no means a short platinum. I actually wrote a trophy guide for this game on playstationtrophies.org, check it if you'd like. #163- Dawn Escort: Trinity Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 This was my second VN. It had been over a year since I had played my first VN. Dawn Escort: Trinity is an easy, but slightly time consuming platinum. #164- Legend of Korra (PS4) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9.5/10 I think Legend of Korra was the first game I played made by Platinum Games. They did a fantastic job of not screwing up Legend of Korra when making the game. The combat, story and graphics were all great! The only thing I have to complain about, is that it was a tiny bit repetitive. Other than that, I loved it. #165- Transistor Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Transistor. This game was fantastic. The combat, graphics and story were so unique. I don't think there is a single game out there like this one. The ending was sad, but also happy and beautiful. The soundtrack was amazing. This is a game on the PS4 that you should not skip. The trophies aren't too bad either, so that's another reason you should go play! #166- Ether One Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 4/10 Ether One....sucked. The story was the only thing that was semi-interesting. The graphics and gameplay were awful. The game was also bugged and glitched to hell. I regret even playing this game. If it wasn't for the gold trophy mine, I would've skipped this game entirely. #167- Rango Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Rango the game was different from the movie (shocker ), but still a pretty good game. The combat was fun, the story was decent, and the dialogue made me laugh sometimes. Rango is a pretty funny little dude without even trying. If you liked the movie, you'd like this game. I'm only 20yrs old, with 5 younger siblings (I'm the oldest), so there's not many Pixar/Disney movies I haven't seen! #168- LA Cops Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 LA Cops is very fun and challenging. It's a pretty quick platinum (Ranges from 6-15+ hours depending on skill), but can prove a challenge. You play as cops in LA (yeah, the title ) who go around busting drug deals and such. Not a bad game. It makes me want to go play Hotline Miami. #169- Saints Row: Gat out of Hell (PS4) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Game was fun enough to justify a second run. See #152 for more information. #170- Happy Feet Two Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 5.5/10 While I enjoyed Rango, I didn't really find Happy Feet Two all that fun. I found the dancing to beat the game pretty fun, but nothing else. The levels were repetitive and the lack of combat only made it more boring. Not much else to say about this game. Go get an easy platinum if you'd like. #171- Shrek Forever After Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Yeah, I know, 2015 has (will be) quite the trophy whore year. I hope to balance the whoring like I did in 2013 and 2014 in 2016 with more challenging games. Anyways, back to the game at hand, Shrek Forever After was another sucky game. The boss battles were decent, but not much else. The combat and levels were boring and repetitive. Again, yet another easy platinum, but also a boring one. #172- Super Exploding Zoo! Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Super Exploding Zoo was decent PS Plus freebie. The levels were basically the same, just got harder and harder. This game had pretty entertaining gamplay haha. Easy platinum, decent gameplay, happy zachattack. #173- Captain America: Super Soldier Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 This is a game I had been waiting for awhile to play. Captain America: Super Soldier was fantastic game, made by a long time favorite company of mine. (SEGA, these people are responsible for Alpha Protocol, Jet Set Radio Future and Sonic, love you guys! ) The story was surprisingly great, as well as the combat. I didn't even mind the crap-load of collectibles. If you're a fan of Captain America, why haven't you played this game yet? #174- The Raven Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 4/10 I'm so glad I got the The Raven for free via the PS Now free trial. This game was just awful. Sherlock Holmes games just kick this game's ass. Boring story, boring trophies, and boring gameplay. Please never play this game, not even for the trophies. Run while you have the chance, it's too late for me. #175- Saints Row IV: Re-elected (PS4) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Saints Row IV was definitely worth the replay. This game is hilarious and has never-ending fun. See #69 for more information. #176- God of War: Ascension Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I have no idea why I waited so long to platinum God of War Ascension. I guess I was just scared of hard difficulty, because I had heard horror stories. Once I played it on hard, however, I found it pretty easy. It had its challenging parts, but I managed those parts. Back to the game itself. On the first playthrough, I didn't appreciate the game because of how different it was. Once I went back and played it on hard, I took into account that Santa Monica was just trying to show us Kratos, before he he ever had god powers and was just a badass human. After thinking about this, I feel in love with the game. I'm happy to say I love every game in this amazing series. I can't wait to see what Santa Monica has planned next! #177- Iron Man 2 Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Yay, another awesome superhero game! Iron Man 2 wasn't too bad. Story and combat was good. Some levels were annoying, but not too bad. I had no idea about the hard glitch, so I played the whole game on the hardest difficulty. Well worth it though, made the game seem more realistic. Would I ever go through that difficulty again? No sir/ma'am! If you use the difficulty glitch, then this game is a super easy platinum. #178- Legends of War: Patton (PS3, Digital, NA) Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Very happy to play Legends of War: Patton again. Game is great, and an easy platinum. See #62 for more information. #179- Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Another decent Ben 10 game in my book. Good story plot, fun combat, and easy trophies. It got boring and repetitive at some parts. Not much else to say. #180- Sounds Shapes (PS4, Hong Kong) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9.9999/10 Did half the platinum for the trophy hunter's league then auto-popped the platinum. See #60 for more information. #181- Sounds Shapes (PS4, JP) Difficulty: 0/10 Enjoyment: 9.9999/10 Auto-pop platinum. See #60 for more information. #182- Photonflowers Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Photonflowers is a 1hr platinum.... just make some choices and view the CG and the platinum is yours. #183- Heavy Fire Afghanistan (JP) Difficulty: 1.5/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Easy and decent game, worthy of a second playthrough in my book. See #41 for more information. #184- Just Cause 2 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Just Cause 2 was an amazing undderated game. I enjoyed every minute of it. I didn't even find the 75% completion trophy boring. I did everything on the hardest difficulty and didn't regret a single second of it. Be prepared for a long platinum if you decide to play this game though. It took me around 63hrs if I recall correctly. Just Cause 3 is a must buy for me! #185- God of War III Remastered (PS4) Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Who wouldn't want to replay this masterpiece of a game? See #68 for more information. #186- Counter Strike: Global Offensive Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Counter Strike: Global Offensive a fun game while it lasted. I remember playing Counter Strike on the PC (getting my ass kicked) when I was a young lad, so I just had to try this game out. A few of the trophies were annoying, but it's a very, very quick platinum once you get the hang of it. I did all the trophies solo and loved it. The trophy list is quite sexy too, go give it a look. #187- Teslagrad Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 Teslagrad was a super fun platformer. Every single trophy is tied to collectibles. The challenges in order to get the collectibles were awesome. Short and easy platinum. #188- Kick-Ass 2 Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 3/10 Kick-Ass 2, like Damnation and Ether One, are games you shouldn't play, even for the easy trophies. Of course, this is up to you, I'm just the messenger. Kick-Ass 2 was anything but "Kick-Ass". It took me forever to get past the first checkpoint because my game kept crashing. After getting past the checkpoint finally, I figured out the game just sucked. The combat was slow and clunky, the voice-acting was horrible, the story was boring, and level designs were shitty. Unless you absolutely must get the easy trophies, stay away from this horrible game. I would've stopped, but the completionist inside of me wouldn't allow it. #189- Photonmelodies Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Photonmelodies was another easy VN platinum. The only thing that made this a 2/10 difficulty wise, was the watermelon mini game. You were blindfolded and had to follow Japanese directions in order to hit the watermelon. Did I mention I was blindfolded? Even with that mini game, I mentioned to become the 10th fastest person in the world to platinum this game. So that's something, right? #190- Rocket League Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 I usually don't enjoy sport-related games, but Rocket League was a great game. The graphics and gameplay were awesome. The only thing that slightly ruined the experience for me, was the massive grind. Other than that, I highly suggest this game to everyone. Hopefully you picked it up while it was free on PS Pluse! #191- White Album 2 Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Yes, I know, another VN. I've been quite the naughty Trophy Whore this year. Not much to say here, as I don't speak Japanese. Just follow a guide and you're golden! #192- Bloodbath Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Bloodbath... Interesting game, I suppose? It was fun at first, then quickly got boring. It's a grind from start to finish, but the being said, it's not a huge grind. This game was my 3rd trophy guide. Feel free to check out my trophy guide on PST.org #193- Steins;Gate (EU) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 When I played this game, I was new to the Steins;Gate universe. I absolutely loved this game. I went in thinking I was going to get a 3hr platinum via text skip. Boy, was I wrong. I feel in love with this game and it turned into a 30hr platinum. Game was so great, I went ahead and watched the Anime, including the OVA and Movie. #194- Jurassic: The Hunted Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Jurassic: The Hunted was like the Jurassic movies, Battleship game, and Call of Duty Zombies had some sort of weird three-way. Not a bad game. Easy trophies as well. #195- ToHeart2 DX Plus Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Yet another VN. I outta be punished. #196- Puss in Boots Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Puss in Boots wasn't a bad movie game. It was actually pretty similar to the movie. Easy trophies, decent story, fun combat, and funny dialogue. I also got my 10,000th trophy off of this game. Pretty funny 10k trophy, check out my profile to see it! #197- MuvLuv Alternative: Total Eclipse Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Another VN, don't hate me please. #198- Until Dawn Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Until Dawn was an amazing game!!! I went in thinking it was going to be good, but was happy to find out that that it was a lot more than "good". The story, character development, graphics, and horror element were are so great in this game. I actually wrote my college Review paper in English class on this game, because this game was so easy to review. Until Dawn is a must play for horror movie fans! #199- JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment 6/10 Nothing special about this game. It was alright. I just hope the Anime is better... #200- L.A. Noire Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 L.A. Noire is another great PS3 game. I found the whole story interesting. Being a detective was fun as well. I only needed to look up a walkthrough for one case, because no matter how many times I replayed the case, I was always missing one clue for some reason. It took me so long to platinum this game because I originally played this game when I didn't care about trophies. I'm really happy I made this fantastic game my #200th platinum. #201- Need For Speed Rivals (PS4) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 I love Need for Speed, especially this one. Getting the platinum again was just as fun. See #153 for more information. #202- Wolfenstein The Old Blood Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8/10 I'm actually surprised of how cheap this game is. Wolfenstein The Old Blood could easily be 30 or 40$ because it's definitely a full-ish game. If you loved The New Order, you'll love this game. #203- Rugby 15 (PS3) Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 I really suck at sport games haha. I managed to turn this 3-5hr sport platinum into an 8hr one. If you know nothing about Rugby and suck at sport games, this platinum is still very easy. Just read up a little on the terms before playing and you'll manage just like I did! #204- Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 I'm glad I got Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments free via PS Pluse, because this game was now where near as good as The Testament of Sherlock Holmes. The puzzles were a lot less challenging, the cases were boring, and the levels/characters were just not that interesting! No wonder why it was offered to us for free. #205- MiNi NiNJAS Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 MiNi NiNJAS was a cute game. The characters were all adorable and the combat was cool. The story was decent and the graphics weren't too bad for a 2009 game. After 1st boss, up to second boss, the levels were really boring and repetitive in opinion. However, once I got to the second boss, (which was freaking hilarious!!!!!!!) the game starting getting pretty good again. Not a bad game. A solid 7/10 is the best I can personally give this game. The trophies are easy, but make sure to get the collectibles while playing the game because there have been reports that collectible trophies glitch when using chapter select! #206- Brave Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Brave was a fun and challenging move related game. Usually movie related games on the hardest difficulty are super easy and nothing to worry about. However, Brave on Brave difficulty was the opposite. The game could be very unforgiving on boss battles. A lot of people had trouble with that last boss battle of the game (4 bosses), but I had more trouble with the boss on the level 6. The gameplay was fun and story was eh. I think this warrants a solid 7/10 in my book. #207- Ice Age 3 Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Ice Age 3 was a really short and boring platinum. The collectibles are no challenge to find and the challenges aren't necessarily..... challenging. I'd only play this game for the easy trophies. #208- Murdered: Soul Suspect (PS4) Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 7.5/10 Fantastic story, but boring gameplay. Loved the Salem Witch Hunt theme. I'm a history nerd. One part bugged me about the inaccuracy, but it was their historical twist to make the story more interesting. It would spoil the game if I posted it here, so I'll leave it at that. Also be prepared to collect like 240 items for this platinum! As almost all the trophies are tied to collectibles. #209- Grand Theft Auto V Difficulty: 6/10 Enjoyment: 9.5/10 I've had Grand Theft Auto V since launch date. Every time I played this game up until last month, I was just goofing around with friends online. However, when I noticed this was an easy ultra rare platinum, I went ahead and finished it. Great game. Funny characters, thrilling story, and addictive gameplay. I say this is a must a play. #210- Riptide GP2 Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 5/10 Riptide GP2 really sucks. I also, sucked at this game. The rubberbanding of the AI was ridiculous. They didn't have to slow down around corners, while you had to. The tracks got repetitive really fast because there were only 5 or 6 of them, and like 50+ events. Only get this game for the trophies and nothing else. #211- XBLAZE LOST: MEMORIES Difficulty: 1.5/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 Xblaze Lost: Memories was a decent game. The characters are adorable. The dialogue has English subtitles which is always good. The game is super easy. The only "hard part" is getting the collectibles. Even without a guide it's incredibly easy. A guide just makes the platinum faster is all. The story was interesting as well. You can't go wrong with this easy, but enjoyable, platinum. #212- Monster Jam Battlegrounds Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Monster Jam Battlegrounds is an OK game at best. The controls are wonky and the game has PS2 graphics. The only thing that is awesome about this game is the easy trophies and somewhat fun tracks. #213- NASCAR Unleashed Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 NASCAR Unleashed a pretty game. The tracks were interesting, the taking downs cars part was fun, and the commentator was pretty damn funny. Not much else to say about this game. This is the only short NASCAR platinum, so if you not looking to spend a lot of time on racing game, here's one! It took me about 7hrs or so to finish the platinum. #214- Beyond The Future -Fix The Time Arrows- Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 Not much to say about Beyond The Future. It's in Japanese, so pop it in, follow a guide, and enjoy the platinum. #215- Dragon Fantasy Book II The first game was better. The platinum was easy, but the 50 monster capture trophy was a grind and certainly forced. #216- Assassin's Creed: Syndicate Let me start by saying, this game was a lot better than Unity. The game was fantastic. The assassination missions were fun and each were unique. The story was great, the gameplay was fresh, and certainly lived up to the expectation of an Assassin Creed game. I barely experienced any bugs and even the ones I did notice, nothing was game breaking. This game has definitely entered my top 5 Assassin Creed games. #217- Final Fantasy XIII-2 I loved the story and characters in this game. The ending was so sad though! I suck at turn-based games. This was my first JRPG turn-based platinum, so some of the trophies were difficult for me. Great game overall though. #218- Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Nothing too difficult. The "hardest" part is getting all the collectibles. Gameplay is decently challenging, but that's too be expected from an older game. However, combat can be very easy if you take advantage of the wall bounce move. Decent story, okay combat, and fun puzzles. Enjoyment factor would've been higher if wasn't for the poor voice volume and repetitive gameplay. #219- Under Defeat HD: Deluxe Edition A fun little shoot em up. Of course, it was made a lot easier with the infinite credit tactic. #220- Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition I thought playing this game again would be boring, but I was wrong. It has been 2yrs since I played the PS3 version and I still enjoyed every moment on the replay. Having all those extra DLC missions just made the game a lot more fun. Triad exp was also a lot easier this time around because of the Throwback Triad outfit and bonus triad side DLC missions. This is one of the games that definitely deserved the port over to the PS4. #221- Monster High: New Ghoul in School Hannah Montana 2.0 ya'll. Easy platinum, nuff' said. #222- Tales From the Borderlands (PS3) #223- Game of Thrones (PS3) #224- Game of Thrones (PS4) 2015 is/was the year of backlog. You could call 2015, "Easy breezy lean 15". There are a lot of easy platinum in this year, but harder platinum are to come. My backlog is quite huge! Once all the easy platinum are over with, I can get back to the challenging platinum. Roster13
I think the same way, the game was fantastic in my opinion. Did you get to play the Dlcs as well ?
