xZoneHunter
Looking forward to seeing it later. Hopefully it isn't going to be as embarrassing as last year. As any year i don't really care what game wins what award. I mostly just watch for the announcements (hopefully there will be some tonight) Altough i'm secretly rooting for South Park: The Stick of Truth to win the awards in the catagories they're nominated in. Since that was my personal GotY Edited December 5, 2014 by xZoneHunter
Happy
Probably won't see it live tonight, as they start at 2:00 in the morning by my time but i'll just watch a recording tomorrow. Anyway here's my predictions: Game of the Year Bayonetta 2 – Platinum Games/Nintendo (feel it deserves it)Best Shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order – MachineGames/Bethesda (only one that didn't disappoint in any way)Best Action/Adventure Bayonetta 2 – Platinum Games/Nintendo (though i feel Alien Isolation has good chances as well)Best Role Playing Game Dark Souls II – From Software/Bandai Namco (this and South Park are on par to me, but sadly i doubt South Park will win any awards)Best Fighting Game Super Smash Bros. Wii U – Nintendo (duh)Best Family Game Mario Kart 8 – Nintendo (didn't play any of the rest but i doubt they'll be able to touch Mario Kart)Best Sports/Racing Game Mario Kart 8 – Nintendo (i'm not really the kinda guy to judge this genre, not my thing really)Best Online Experience Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft – Blizzard (personally Dark Souls 2 was my fav online experience but i'm pretty sure Hearthstone will win something and this is where its chances are best)Best Mobile/Handheld Bravely Default – Square Enix (we need a game like this on Ps4, yet square doesn't seem to realize the demand is there)Best Remaster Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire – Game Freak/Nintendo (more of a remake than a remaster, seems like unfair competition here lol)Best Narrative The Wolf Among Us – Telltale Games (Liked South Park better, but from a critical standpoint, TWAU has an overall higher quality storyBest Score/Soundtrack Destiny – Marty O’Donnell, Bungie/Activision (Such a good soundtrack for such a mediocre game)Best Independent Game Shovel Knight – Cellar Door (should even be nominated for Game Of The Year if you ask me)Games for Change Valiant Hearts: The Great War – Ubisoft (Could everone stop dryhumping TLoU and appreciate this little gem?eSports Player of the Year i have no idea who these people areeSports Team of the Year again no ideaTrending Gamer TotalBiscuit (please don't give this to PewDiePie)Best Fan Creation Twitch Plays Pokemon by Anonymous (pinnacle of modern society)Developer of the Year Nintendo (really great year for Nintendo, not enough to get them back to full health just yet but a damn fine way to start)Best Performance Adam Harrington as Bigby Wolf, The Wolf Among Us – Telltale Games (again quietly hoping for Trey Parker to win though i doubt it)Most Anticipated Game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – CD Projekt (Personally its Bloodborne but the internet doesn't seem to want to shut up about The Witcher 3)Some match my personal opinion more than others but that's who i feel has the best chances. Masamune
Here's my guesses, some of the choices I never even heard of, so those are just random picks. Jello
Unfortunately, the only game on this list that I have played is Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. Also, when did they start doing awards for esports?

Also, when did they start doing awards for esports? The eSports awards are new this year. I don't care for them personally. They used to do 'Best character of the year' but it's not here this year. Happy
I'm not too sure about that one winning best remaster, 'too much water, 7.8/10' Thankfully IGN aren't the ones to hand out these awards, otherwise they'd be even more of a joke than they made themselves to be last year. Reason i went with Pokemon on this is because it's the remaster with the overall biggest upgrades made to the original game, it's more of a remake instead of a remaster really.
