Tarquin_FTW
Any advice for those who are still stuck at 65 seconds?

patrickogorman19
The only thing I can really say about this is learn the track and every shortcut, know when to drift and when to boost, memorise the leaders ghost and try to emulate it and most importantly don't give up, I got it with a time of about 59.099 (IIRC), this put me at 17th from 190 so even with that time I barely made it. Hope that helps. Edit: Sorry for the late reply, I haven't been back on this thread since I got the trophy. Just got the trophy today.
Saionji
I just got this trophy as well with time of 59,9 sec. Its not that hard if you make your time under a minute on Big Hermitage stage, I noticed this stage is there everyday (I m not sure if it was changing before). I think 58 sec is possible to make but I have no idea how some ppl got 52 sec, following ghost of fastest person he have incredible speed. I dont know how is that possible.
cphantasm89
I got it yesterday with a time of 57 seconds, this trophy is still possible, just hit it in under a minute and you'll get it Also play on weekends, more people seem to play thus widening the gap for you to be in the top 10%.The level in question hasn't changed in forever, so learn how to hop over the wall and glitch the track, it's the only way to get a fast enough time. Watch the ghosts for the fastest racer, and mimic their technique.

Once you know how to do it, the 10% it's very much possible. Well... in addition of many fake accounts to add players in the leaderboards, LOL! EDIT 2: 12/08/2016 Got the trophy. Had 54 seconds with the glitch and the megapros did times like 49 or so! There were a total of 175 players in the leaderboard and I was 6th! Well within the 10%! What glitch are you referring to? The one where you pass the starting point on the right side?
LoStraniero91
No. When you approach the second jump in the long straight section of track, you need to jump and bump into the fence's pole, then you have to "glide" and scrap the grey wall. If done correctly, it will respawn you some meters before the finish line. Pulling it off can be tricky, if you get "Wrong way" or "Shortcut not allowed" then you will be reset in another position. Metal Slime King
Woo, I finally got this trophy yesterday with a time of 54.438 using the wall jump glitch after watching the leading ghost. My best time without the glitch was 60.878. After jumping through the gap in the fence you have to scrap the wall on the way down otherwise you end up respawning on one of the two paths and your shortcut becomes a longcut. It's tricky and you need a strong run up to the glitch point and you need to be ready to make a clean exit out of the glitch point. Glad I got it and good luck to everyone else. 30 Year Old Boomer
I just returned back to the game, I'm hoping I'll be obtaining this one soon. This track is doable enough with the glitches, I assume. Will have to watch a time trial ghost.
Popular Post Metal Slime King
I got a couple of psn messages about my post in this thread so I figured I'd post a couple of pictures here and try to clarify. After the big jump into the fortress you can stay on the top path or fall to a bottom path. Stay on the top path. Follow the track around a u-turn and then there is a straight section with a series of two ramps. On the first ramp if you angle your car towards the gap in the fence and jump while going over the ramp then you can do a big jump over the curb and through the gap. Try to hit the wall marked with an X and if the glitch works you will respawn at the point marked on the track, otherwise you will respawn earlier in the fortress and you will not get a good time that lap. There may be other glitches on the track but this is what I saw the fastest ghost doing one day and I got it to work eventually. It's finicky and hard to do and I only got it to work a couple of times but that was all it took. Hope that helps Edited April 23, 2017 by mking_63
gary_danial
Thanks to the above tips, I actually got a time of 55:1 and was in a top 10 (no 8 exactly) but it is out of 63 people. Thought I need about 80 people. Just about to give up and make up a lot of dummy's but I can't believe it actually popped for me! Thank god. Glad it's over with.
crisding89
Big thanks to mking_63 for the strategy. I managed to get it. It was totally impossible at first but after about 2 hours of trying and the glitch finally happened twice with only one of them lead me to success. Good luck everyone.
Popular Post Honor_Hand
A big thanks to @mking_63for his tip on the Wall Glitch. Found it extremely useful to do the Flaming Hot trophy this past weekend. After quite some laps on the track, I managed to set up a time of 53 seconds and something, which placed me 3rd on the Leaderboard near the end of the day. Got the trophy to pop when I started the game next day. I also watched these videos in order to get an idea of how to get the glitch to work and how to make a quick lap time. A couple of extra tips for a fast lap 1.- Coming from a previous lap while boosting, jump to the right of the starting line in order to provide a slight headstart on the lap. Be sure to start drifting immediately to the left to catch and cut the first corner. 2.- The next couple of U-turns need to be cut out and drifted effectively. Just a slight tap to the stick and maintaining the kart on the right direction while drifting and boosting will help maximize the speed on these turns. 3.- Spin as much as you can while you're airborne and you should be able to net at least 15000 points of boost the completely fill the gauge. 4.- Don't use it all right away. Use it sparingly until you reach the first left corner after the drop. You should save at least 30-40% of it before reaching the jump platform where you will need to perform the Wall Glitch. 5.- This will take some practice but try to align the kart on a 45° degree while you jump at near max speed. Use the small lamps on the ramp to provide a visual reference of where to start the jump. Make sure to hit the exact spot shown on the images and videos above. Any other spot will glitch you somewhere else or put you a little behind of where you should spawn after the glitch. 6.- Finally, use the remaining boost to accelerate quickly and drift the remaining 2 corners to the finish line. My kart was set up to favor Speed and Drifting in order to achieve the time mentioned above. Good luck to those that will be trying this before the servers close over. ?
