One more to go... hopefully I get back my PSTV today and that game's not as dull as I keep seeing said.

Nice, you're almost there. Do you think it's possible to get 10 plats on August 20?

The one in my list there is supposed to be a ~15 hour plat, which would definitely be doable as long as I don't hate it/have to force myself to play.

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault would've been my tenth if I hadn't gotten stuck; no idea what I'm supposed to do.

Ok, good luck with that game.

Which part are you stuck with in FFA?

Level four. Want to say it's when you have to defend your base at the end of the level, but it just spawns more enemies than I can take out. Doesn't help that things keep taking out all my turrets... I'm definitely missing something.

Is that the level where you have to guard something while going to the enemy base?

Try upgrading your weapons and replaying previous levels to complete them in a special way for medals. Those medals can be used to raise your rank on Qwark's ship (all the way in the back is a computer you can interact with) and you get perks, like faster movement, more damage, health regen (I think :hmm: ).

Also try placing some Groovitron mines near turrets, to keep them occupied while the turrets blow them up. I usually focused turrets on one side and manually defended the other side until I had enough bolts to buy decent defenses for the other side too.

You have to disable a bunch of weather towers. Probably something after that, but I'm still in Toy Story checklist mode and can't quite remember.

Awesome, thank you very much for the tips. I don't think I tried mines much; was pretty busy running between the tunnels. My weapon levels are... all over the place.

Honestly, I'm not sure how many more medals I can get right now. Level 3 was the same stage minus the weather, and it was pretty rough too.

If nothing else, I'll keep picking at it and it should get tossed into the next round.  :D

I can't remember anything about weather towers :|. I thought lvl 4 was on a frozen planet.

Ok, try to level them up evenly and to make them all stronger, it really helps. Oh and if this is the escort level, sell all your defenses when leaving the base. You'll need to bunker down in the enemy base while guarding something and you'll need to buy defenses there too. Enemies will stop attacking your base when you escort the cart.

It is - level 3 gets frozen over and then the first(?) mission there is to destroy a bunch of little weather towers. I don't remember any escorts, so I'm guessing that comes after the flood of enemies...

At the moment, I think the basic pistol, Zurkon, and the Groovitron gun are all 5, the ninja stars and doppelbanger are 1, and everything else is 2-3. So yeah, a bit of grinding there wouldn't hurt.

Ok, that must be the one I was talking about.

The ninja stars are very useful when upgraded, they home in on enemies and ricochet around. The Warmonger is also very OP when upgraded a bit.

I think I've only gotten the stars once, they seem to be rather rare. Warmonger's pretty nice as is - bet it's impressive at level 5. Seems to be very very slow to level, though.

Thanks again for all the comments, I don't tend to play many shooters so I'm a bit of a noob.

You're welcome :D. Try using the Warmonger against groups of enemies or tanks to speed up the leveling process :D.

The trick in R&C games is strafing sideways and jumping to avoid enemy fire while shooting.

  4. Arcania- 98%(43/45) Ready to Plat
  5. LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin- 98%(33/35) Ready to Plat
  6. Need for Speed: Most Wanted (Vita)- 98%(45/47) Ready to Plat
  7. Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 (base game)- 99% (37/39) Ready to Plat
  8.  Hitman Go: Definitive Edition- 34% (9/17) Ready to Plat

  10. Midway Arcade Origins- 95% (29/32) Ready to Plat
  11. Senran Kagura Bon Appetit- 80% (29/33) Ready to Plat

I think this is it for this round. I may be able to tack on 3 more but one game is a huge grind, and the other two have some online trophies. Either way I have my 10 ready for this round. B)

Well, my PSTV's still gone, and watching some Patton videos in the meantime... that looks awful anyway, I'm going to find something else for #10. Sorcery and Batman Blackgate look like decent contenders...

Tanks didn't seem much faster, but I'll definitely give groups a try. I tended to use the plasmabomb launcher for those, think level 1 warmonger didn't have much spread or something.

Oh... yeah, jumping might help.

The main issue was that they'd get to be too many to handle and they'd wipe out all my energy cores in that one big push.

Weird, stronger enemies gave more exp in all the other R&C games.

Lol, yeah keep moving during combat while shooting all the time. That helps to stay alive :P.

Do you also build shield walls? Those stop enemies and you can plant lots of groovitron mines near them.

Yep, tried to keep 1-2 shields on each side when I could; they liked to shred through them once the enemy spawn got heavier. I'll go back and give it another go once I get #10 ready. :)

Never played Full Frontal Assault even though I played all the other games except that and All 4 One(which I can't do as it's multi-player). Still, good luck!

Dragon-Archon, when are you going to give advance warning for the next PRD since the deadline for this one is fast approaching?

Thanks, guys!

Why can't you do All 4 One? Technically, I think there're two online trophies (which are very fast to get) and a local multiplayer one. Otherwise, you can play single-player fine, though it seems rather boring alone. I've had it floating around on my list for a while.

It is super painful alone.. Originally, had it on my Platinum list. But I just can't. :/ The online trophies are really easy to get, though, that is true.

Fair enough. I didn't make it very far alone myself. Three-person party time?  :ninja:
