Passionate Listener *SPOILER*

Hey everyone,

I get the trophy yesterday and I want to give some thoughts about it because I know that a lot of people are afraid of this trophy.

Right now I´m at the end of the 6 dungeon in the Casino and now able to steal the treasure. I was afraid too that the trophy will not come if I give Akechi not enough abuse because he is only available in this dungeon. So I checked that I give him enough Status ailments in the casino. After the route to the treasure I moved on in Mementos and started from the first floor with Akechi in Team and on hard difficulty to get more Status ailments from enemies. I had maxed out the death confidant and buy 4 accessories (50 000 each) for SP each round (7 SP each round if equipped). It´s a good way to cast any skill without hitting the enemy to get the Status ailments easier. If you defend with a character it will mostly miss. I changed the team order after someone gets hit so my whole Team have the Status ailment once. You shouldn´t do all out attacks often to get the lines for x enemies left and hit the weaknesses with each Character and if possible multiple once without killing them. Also once you know the weaknesses and strength from enemies check them out until Futaba mention which skill is strong or effectless against the enemy.

In Mementos are some good enemys who cast Status ailments;

Sandmen (Sleep)

Lamia (Despair)

Black Ooze (Hunger)

Yaksini (Rage)

Kaiwan (Silence)

Any fire skill from higher enemiess depends on luck (Burn)

Any ice skill from higher enemies depends on luck (Freeze)

Any zio skill from higher enemies depends on luck (or with Ryugi shock a enemy and hit with physical attack to get the Status ailment yourself) (Shock)

I think Succubus (for Defense or Agility down).

Now my speculation: I´m not really sure if I have really 250 different navigation lines from Futaba because it feels less and that I hear a lot of lines multiple times .. Maybe you Need only 250 Navigation lines in total to hear to get the trophy but i´m not sure. I get the trophy after a status ailment that I didn´t have before so I´m not sure.

But I hope this description help some people to get the trophy. In my opinion the trophy isn´t as hard as in Persona 4.

Edit: @Satoshi Ookami Thanks for the correction! Sorry for that, was a bit sleepy in the morning ;) I corrected it.

Eh... First things first...

FuTAba.

Secondly... Adachi is Akechi, right? The detective and Justice Arcana, right?

I appreciate when people share info, but seriously... is it that hard to type Japanese names correctly? :/

Especially in this case where you not only misspelled Akechi's name but you gave it a completely new meaning =D

Thanks for this - I didn't know that Akechi was only available for that one part of the story.

I'm up to the 'take the treasure' part for that now and I'm trying to get a few more lines in the palace before I finish it. Found an encounter of 2 Kushinadas and 2 Queen Mabs, and it looks like they can burn, shock, and freeze, plus Kushinada reflects blessing so you can have Akechi use blessing moves on it so that he doesn't kill anything. There's also an enemy that can inflict confusion but I wouldn't recommend using that for lines [I've probably thrown away at least 500k in confusion]

Editing to build on it - looks like you can get effects from attacks [like shock, burning, and freeze] while you're blocking, I guess because you still take damage the attack is successful. Bring a persona with Stagnant Air - lets you use an attack so you're not blocking and it increases the chances of you being affected by an ailment. Valkyries have Mind Slice which causes confusion, so that's what you want to watch out for. Kumbhanda has Wage War which inflicts Rage on everyone, but if everyone's raged then you won't get any dialogue since you'll never have a turn. So if you're fighting them at least have one person block [ideally everyone but Akechi to maximise the chance of that line appearing]. So there's still plenty of options in that palace without resorting to mementos

I did use him quite a bit to get some lines before he leaves the party, although with the new status ailments and mechanics (e.g.  baton pass) I'm not too worried about it before I face the final boss. Worst comes to worst I used up all 16 of my save slots for different missables, although I don't think this one is even if you don't get a lot of Akechi lines.

Well, you can always grind things in Mementos before the final boss so everyone should be okay =D

As long as you get Goro done in November, and swap characters for each dungeon upon getting the navigator, I think you're going to be fine.

Yeah, well... I've gained 5 million by exploiting confusion on certain enemies, so... in the end you're still profiting severely hah.

Well it did not even hinder Rise's one =D

Not too sure about this since it's been 4 years (!) since I last played the game, but I believe that there were also lines for stronger enemies and more importantly I also believe she had skills that would make it harder to get things like ailment lines as you leveled up Rise's S-Link.

Just got this trophy last night, it popped while I was escaping the Casino dungeon, I beat that Shadow that we fought in the beginning of the game and Futaba had some unique navigation lines during and after it, saying everyone got away so it's my turn to run.

So the lines outside of battles also count for this trophy? If so, that would explain how this one is much easier than its P4G counterpart.

Still haven't gotten this after finishing the second to last dungeon, but I'm quite overleveled so let's see. Will go through full second playthrough anyways so it's not too much of an issue at the moment.

I got it on level 99 and ailment obtaining was okay. It wasn't due to Rise but more due to other party members auto healing others.

so i got this trophy without even trying on first playthrough which shocked me i didnt purposely grind ailments or anything i just swapped in characters when ever one was low on sp (p5 makes it so much easier since i can just use the menu) on and i had akechi in my party as soon as he was available and used him for every fight since i made a point of fighting every enemy i run into (despite my better judgement(i died so many time :{ ). I rarely used Haru, Ryuji or Morgana after getting Futaba though. i got it during the first part of shido's boss battle.

Getting it was way easier than in golden which means there are 3 possibilities 1. the 250 lines dont have to be unique (probably not this, i think) 2. navigation lines outside of battle count (probably) 3. I fought way more than i realized though i was around level 55-65 around that fight more or less on normal difficulty.

hope i helped

if its anything like golden then it should carry over but considering how much easier it is it might not  but if your are not too further it should be ok to try and get it naturally y shuffling party members but if your around the last two dungeons and akechi is no longer usable you should grind it out in mementos just think of which characters u used the least and have them in a party fight as many shadows as you can without worrying about what to kill and stat ailment hunting though normal difficulty is recommended alsoo if you die DO NOT RELOAD OR GO BACK TO TITLE SCREEN choose to previous safe room/waiting area that way you can get the death lines as well

Question - Does anyone know if this trophy carries over to NG+ or not?

This is probably going to get same as answers as P4G one.

Half will say yes, second half will say no.

Well, in Golden it definitely did not carry over despite minority saying otherwise.

So I just got this trophy in Momentos before going into the casino outside of the first scripted time. While doing missions I was grinding out lines for status effects and it just popped. There is no way I've heard 250 unique lines, so I think it is just to hear 250 lines total.

Then you are the minority I talked about =D

No way it could carry over if there are people who were actively grinding it and still couldn't get it on their 3rd or 4th playthroughs.

We will have to see about Futaba trophy, though.

I got mine before starting the sixth palace, lol. Was grinding Mementos and randomly encountered the Reaper.

It really wasn't difficult at all. Then again, I was rotating all the characters frequently.

You'd be surprised. There are unique lines for taking down 2, 3, 4, 5 enemies. And 4, 3, 2, 1 enemies left.

FOR EVERY character.

Do you have any idea how many lines that is? Multiply it by 9. And then tell me you haven't heard 250 unique lines...

Hmmm, I was rotating characters pretty frequently. Either way, I'm just happy to have it done.
