Admittedly, I haven't seen tons of gameplay, but the environments look pretty varied from that one video that was linked earlier. The enemy designs aren't nearly as rad as the Souls games, but I don't think they're bad. As for the AI, the game's still in development, so we can expect that to be improved in the full game. I just like the whole anime aesthetic combined with the gameplay of a Souls title. They are like my two favourite things ever. :P

I love all the Soulsborne games, but Bloodborne is probably my favourite take on it with the setting and a focus on a more aggressive playstyle. I think it would be a shame not to continue that series. I'd love to see what else they could do with that IP. Of course, I wouldn't turn down a new Souls-like game from them either, though. And yes, I would consider Demon's, Dark, and BB to be the best games as well, but I think Dark Souls 3, in particular, is an excellent game, even if it's not breaking any new ground.

True, I guess CV is still in development.  The environments looked nice enough, but empty and static, and enemy design wasn't bad per se, but not great either.   I like the anime souls idea, a lot, it's just not grabbing me for some reason, here's hoping it's as good as we both want it to be.

Yeah, I hear you, I loved BB too, and it would be criminal to abandon the style of the game, just not so sure it'd need to be BB2 rather than a different BB take.   DS3 was indeed a good game, I'd even go so far to say DS2 was a good game...it just wasn't a good Souls game, considering the company it's keeping, but both sequels lacked that 'something', freshness, innovation, whatever you want to call it.   It's why I think BB2 might not be great, it might be another 'it was good but not as good as BB' type game...as opposed to a seeming trend of new Souls takes that are great because they're entirely new?   Who knows, whatever they make next, I'll be buying it anyway! :)

@Satoshi Ookami

Are those VNs coming out or being localized?  And thanks for all the updates!

Atm, Japan only but Otomate due to partnership with Idea Factory is one VN company where localizations are very possible.

Probably not Diabolic Lovers but C;R on PS4 is almost guaranteed.

Diabolic Lovers was the one I was hoping to be localized...

Oh well, I'm still waiting on them for the second vita Hakuoki game anyway

If they wanted to bring that, they would have already brought at least one of the Vita games.

She's pretty cute, I've got to admit. :P My favourite part is this:

I guess being almost naked is the norm for DoA girls. You have to work for the side of her that wears modest clothing.

I have a feeling that side of her won't be last too long though :P

Subsequent days of TGS unfortunately (or fortunately for our wallets? :awesome:) didn't bring anything about DW9 :awesome: new. We have only obtained some new info about already known titles.

Unfinished Fantasy XV will be getting new content in 2018 as well.

http://gematsu.com/2017/09/final-fantasy-xv-development-continue-2018

Are they ever going to start working on XVI?

Eotenas 2 are going to be on Vita in Japan.

http://gematsu.com/2017/09/koei-tecmo-attack-titan-2-launch-ps4-switch-ps-vita-pc-japan

Who's going to bet on PS4-only?

Fataru Byuretto will be out in February!

http://gematsu.com/2017/09/sword-art-online-fatal-bullet-launches-february-8-japan

SILICA-TAN KAWAI!! AYANERU CASTED!

Anyway... with Feburary in Japan, we can be hopeful for late Q2 or early Q3 localization!

PROPERLY CASTED SECRET OF MANA!

http://gematsu.com/2017/09/secret-mana-remake-japanese-voice-cast-announced

Something for Atelier fans!

http://gematsu.com/2017/09/atelier-20th-anniversary-festival-set-december-2

Let's hope we get some remakes... but since it's December, it's almost guaranteed teaser of another game =D

Plus something we won't see here for sure :/

http://gematsu.com/2017/09/atelier-online-tgs-2017-trailer

And last but not least, the PROPER World of Tanks :awesome:

http://gematsu.com/2017/09/girls-und-panzer-dream-tank-match-details-tank-customization-five-versus-five-online-battles-original-story-mode

You thought that was the last, but it was me, Dio :awesome:

First actually, possibly, very important info as it involves confirmed localization!

D3 brings something to the western shores! And it's Bullet Girls!

http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-09-24/bullet-girls-phantasia-ps4-ps-vita-game-gets-english-localization/.121792

Guess this kills the chance of previous Bullet Girls being localized but who cares?!

WE
GET
BULLET
GIRLS!

I'll say in about 10 years. Oh wait, FFVII Remake is a thing... 20 years then. :awesome:

No HanaKana or Aoi Yuki, though, so can it really be considered "proper"? :P

I really need to start this series. I keep buying the games (ordered Atelier Firis the other day), but they've just been left unplayed. They just make 'em too fast! I can't keep up!

I never thought I'd see the day when you were disappointed about an online game not coming west... :P

It's Atelier :P

On the other hand, it cannot even be compared to disappointment I felt for Akatsuki no Kiseki never coming west.
