What do you enjoy most about Farcry5?

Curious what everyone enjoys the most about the game so far?

 

Ive spent about 5 or 6 hours with it and I think the balance and pacing is about as perfect as one could expect from an open world game.

The wingsuit, so much fun lol

Just roaming around causing mayhem and chaos with Boomer the dog. I've barely progressed the actual story because I keep getting sidetracked by random stuff. It's a lot of fun.

The environment in this one is insane. I stopped so many times to enjoy the view of some areas. 

 

A friend of mine who is from Montana said it actually feels like he's back home. (Minus the cult I hope).

 

It makes me want to visit and take in the natural beauty of that state.

Fishing ! Is there anything more relaxing?
The diversity of side quests, The longevity, know how to appreciate scenarios and everything this great game has to offer without having to go to do everything in a hurry

Last night me and a friend spent about 2 hours fishing off the back of a boat in the game... its surprisingly fun.

Lol get outta here. Far Cry and Dying Light have nothing in common, and Far Cry 5 has some of the best visuals on current systems.

as far as first person games go, Far Cry is at the top of the mountain I think. Really the only thing on consoles that looks better thats out is probably Horizon and Metal Gear....

The Fangs for Hire are so cute (and helpful of course)!
That and flying around in helicopters and planes while blowing stuff up is also great fun ?
Oh, and sniper rifles. I always looove making long distance kills in FC ^^

Purposely flying a helicopter as high as you can, jumping out straight into the wingsuit. Then go full speed down straight under a bridge and resulting in a death from above takedown on a cult leader on a riverside. ?

Loved the setting, the visuals and the story. But they legit need to fix the collision systems they have in place. Gives rise to some of the worst bugs i've seen in an open world game. I really want to play it but don't want to be interrupted by turkeys that take 8 arrows to kill because only one registered. Or hitting someone with a bullet which clips them into a building so they hang there in the wall. The AI is also pretty horrible - enemies running in circles in front of me, shouting at nothing etc.

 

I fully intent to give this a platinum run, but am going to give it a few patches before I jump back in.

I enjoyed the aerial combat and movement of the game very much. My only issues were with people not dying when I ran them over  and the forced progression through hunting parties coming after you.
