Goro
They are a business first and a friend second. Can you really blame them? Yes, Main reason Yakuza failed in the west was because their lack of advertising, i seen literally no Advertisements about Yakuza Dead Souls anywhere and then they blame the fans for the lack of sales because "we didn't tell enough friends about it"
Parker
They are a business first and a friend second. Can you really blame them? I'd have no problem with what they're claiming but when you're making games exclusive to the WiiU, you can't complain about having a small install base. broy300
How do you market a game like Yakuza? That is why you hire an awesome marketing team. I think they should go with the executives that marketed cigarettes the last 25 years or the pharmaceutical companies that market viagra the last 10. I remember when GTA III released. It had absolutely no hype with it at all. Obviously that has changed over the last 10+ years. I am quite bummed out. I have Yakuza 3 and 4 waiting in the wings. I was hoping they were going to release 1 & 2 in the net 6 months or so, but that is looking less likely.

I'm still mad at CAPCOM for canceling Mega Man Legends

However, I feel your pain (Capcom are refusing to localize AAI2 for the same reason I believe).

Gamenamebully
You know that news on the "Small Fanbase" thing was made by a random guys Tumblr who didn't show any other proof other than "Word Of Mouth"? And that during a few conferences a guy or two asked about Yakuza 5 and a member of Sega said "They're looking into it" meaning it's not out of the question. To be fair this thinking could just be a combination of me being a fan of the Yakuza series and the fact that I'm one of those people who are always skeptical without actual proof.
