EternalChaos72
Anyone know the best drift car setup for these drift zones. They're doing my head in seriously.

Bloodytears1666
Try C63, preferably not with much of tuning on engine and transmission. You don't really need a fast car here, but powerful enough to to keep momentum uphill. For dirt, get Subaru, no matter much of a set up, you'll get much more points than you need with this car. MikeCheck--
I saved up for the koenigsegg and used that. The starter cars won't cut it
GarryKE
I done every drift event, including the offroad ones, with the following. Mazda RX7Engine: Slots all Ultimate + Chassis: Pro+ suspension Elite everything else Drivetrain: Elite DRAG tires Super showcase differential Traction control OFF. Power into a drift and counter-steer, tapping R2 as needed, and it will keep you going sideways. It also helps to get a good run up and enter the drift zone sideways, particularly for a specific event which name I can't remember (the one that requires a 100k score downhill on an S-bend). Hope this helps. Edited June 9, 2020 by GarryKE

Thanks Edited June 26, 2020 by KillLaGil

Leo3572
I've had massive problems with the drift zones due to a wrong set up. Took me hours for a single drift zone. Things changed when I discovered this Video The Secret to Drifting in NFS Heat | Drifting Guide - YouTube Changed my set up and were able to get almost every drift zone first try with way more points, than needed for 3 Stars. I used the following Set Up: Car: RX-7 Spirit R '02 Engine Engine: 562 hp 3,8l V8 Crankshaft: Ultimate+ ECU: Ultimate+ Cooling: Ultimate+ Exhaust: Ultimate+ Turbo: Ultimate Dual Turbo Charger Nitrous System: 5 x 3LB Tanks Chassis Suspension: Super Speedcross Suspension Brakes: Elite Tires: Elite Speedcross Tires Drive Train Clutch: Elite+ Clutch Gearbox: Super 5 Speed Differential: Speedcross Differential Auxiliary Active: Repair Kit Passive: Nitrous Extra Mix Live Tuning: Steering Sensitivity: High Downforce: Low Traction Control: Off Drift Style: Gas Also I didn't drift quite the way the game tells us to do. I held down gas all the way and just used the steering to start drifts. In few cases the hand brake also helped. I highly recommend this set-up. It helped me a lot.

Following the YouTube video and Leo3572's advice made a night and day difference with my drift scores. Drift zones I had previously only managed one star on became WAY easier to three star. I used an almost identical setup on a Mazda RX-7 Spirit R, except only one of my engine parts was an Ultimate and the rest were Elites. Thank you!

Why did you need Nitrous for drifting?
