Square Enix June 24th deletion of FFXV Comrades?

FFXV INFORMATION and INFORMATION (game update information) options for all FINAL FANTASY XV models will be deleted, and some functions of the PC version of FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION will be partially discontinued.

As of 24 June 2020, some menu items and functions will be deleted and will not be available for the following platform titles.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we appreciate your understanding.

If they could also delete the trophies for it I can consider going back to 100% it

Is this an outright stripping from the PSN or just a patching out?

If it's stripped, anyone who doesn't have either Comrades lists completed better make it a damn priority.

If it's just a patching out, version number trickery should solve the problem in so far as trophies go, with the one exception of the single online trophy of offline version.

It looks like only the update information will be deleted. This would make sense because there will be no further updates to the game. They're only deleting the online content from the PC version, but the actual game (Including the online component for the PS4 version) will still be fully functional.

Nothing is going to change. They're simply removing the game update information from both the base game and Comrades. If you look at the "Items to be deleted" part in the notice, you can see that they're not removing any of the actual content.

Functions of FINAL FANTASY XV and FINAL FANTASY XV Windows Edition will be partially terminated from Wednesday, June 24, 2020 (JST).

To be removed for Console versions:

• [ FFXV Information ] from the [ Title Menu ].

• [ FFXV Information ] equivalents from other menus.

To be removed for PC versions:

• [ FFXV Information ] from the [ Title Menu ].

• [ FFXV Information ] equivalents from other menus.

• Avatara System to replace Noctis' appearance.

• Avatara System phantoms.

• Avatar System Official treasure.

• Avatara System User Treasure.

• Avarar System User Photos.

• For Steam and Origin versions only (see Update 1):

  • Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades online functionality. Offline functionality is still available.

  • Comrades online matching between Steam and Origin version servers.

The PC version will be losing its online component while the console versions will only lose its "information" section. All functionality will remain the same for the console version. It's been well documented that this was going to happen on June 24th.

Square Enix's patch notes can be incredibly confusing, so I can definitely understand the way the notice was interpreted.

So does this mean i wont be able to 100% comrades dlc in ffxv even if i used to patch downgrade method? If so, will any other trophies from other parts of the game become unobtainable from this?

Again, the PS4 version will remain exactly the same. This was a false alarm due to the wording of the notice. Only the PC version is losing online functionality.
