Target shows a 9/28/21 release date, but all of the other pages I have seen have placeholder dates. I'm only here for the campaign, so the lack of MP mode isn't a bother for me. They should release a Crysis Wars Remastered later on for MP. westersburg Posted August 17, 2021 Author Share Posted August 17, 2021 They just showed a bunch of crysis 2 and 3 gameplay yesterday in a comparison between the original 360 releases and the remaster collection running backwards compatible on Xbox Series X. If these remaster look the same on ps5 and manage to maintain 60 fps, its gonna be great. Lighting and framerate improvements are definitely noticeable. I'm wondering how PS4 Pro will handle C2 & C3, and will be double dipping on both of them (PC and PS both). westersburg Posted September 6, 2021 Author Share Posted September 6, 2021 I think a release in october is kinda unfortunate, since there are already plenty of games that release at the time even within the same genre (BF2042 also releasing on october 15th with early access), but I honestly can't wait to get my hands on crysis 2 and 3 again. As far as I know the Sale figures for Crysis 3 wasn’t that good back then. Maybe they want to see if there is still interest for the franchise. westersburg Posted September 16, 2021 Author Share Posted September 16, 2021 I won't buy Alan Wake at release so it's basically "only" Far Cry, Back 4 Blood, Crysis and House of Ashes. I'll play b4b with a group of 3-4 people so i have to adjust to their times. House of ashes won't take that long probably. Probably done in 3-5 days. Plenty of time to finish crysis between the 15th and 22nd october since they come without multiplayer. I assume both platinums will be done in 20-30 hours in total.
