Popular Post BlueFireReaper
Just going to list the plats that I have obtained, its rarity, and whatever I want to add about the game in general. [Platinum ##: Game (Date Earned)] [Rarity] (Rarity is based on when I last update this post) Platinum #1: Borderlands (7/15/13) [22.50% - Uncommon] First platinum, nothing that special... unless I mention the Mad Mel fight in which I go and defeat him outside of the arena with constantly respawning vehicles with rocket launchers. Then, we have a story! Platinum #2: InFamous (8/13/13) [14.43% - Rare] While doing my Evil/Hard run, at the point near the end of the game when you see Trish fall, I jump off the roof and Cole still does the gestures that he does as if he was still standing. Fell out of my chair laughing from that. Nice way to end a mission right? Platinum #3: Assassin's Creed II (11/29/13) [29.89% - Uncommon] Second time getting platinum for this game and I can easily say, seeing the cutscene at the end of the Bonfire of the Vanities DLC, which showed how much Ezio had grown within the years of the game, still warms my heart. Platinum #4: Resident Evil 6 (12/15/13) [14.75% - Rare] I'll just go by story:Leon: Not that bad. Sure thinking that everyone would love seeing the handsome (now quite older) Leon back into the fray, though I'd have to say, loved playing as Helena for the Hydra. Also didn't like how lovestruck Leon still was with Ada.Chris: Probably my favorite out of the four stories, the ending to Chapter 2 was the first time that I cried in a video game EVER. Wasn't as teary for Chapter 5, but still sad. Like Leon's story, played mostly with Piers and his EPIC SNIPER RIFLE!Jake: While not my favorite, I did like this story more than most people. First time since RE2 that we see Sherry (which I initially though was that girl from RE4 whose name I do not speak. Good that it was not her) and Jake, holy shit! Chapter 3 onwards, I tried my best to use only his fists! I though the ending was not that well... until Jake put on some Wesker-esque shades and I'm like Ada: Filler. Didn't really feel much for her story. Platinum #5: Hyperdimension Neptunia (1/6/14) [13.88% - Rare] This.. is something to play. Good game... not necessarily (especially if you played the other games), but I can tell from looking back that I loved this game and it got me into a series that I enjoyed. Not for the fanservice, but the game in general seemed to me like an ode to games in general, what with the loads of game references and Neptune's script in general (GENIUS), made me love this game even more. Went through three full playthroughs for the platinum, and each was as great as the last. (Scratch that, the second was my favorite). Platinum #6: BioShock Infinite (1/18/14) [9.99% - Very Rare] So I took on my first and only full run on 1999 Mode. I both loved and regretted that decision. I wasn't that difficult - except for the ghost - and it was one of the games that I so wanted to play. Glad it was on PS+, it was a good way to start the year! Platinum #7: Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 (2/2/14) [22.97% - Uncommon] There is a line in Chapter 2 (I believe) about someone saying "Nepgear is (totally/so) gonna be my waifu!" Made me fall out of my chair laughing in the middle of the night. While I felt like a piece of shit to have Nepgear go through the Conquest ending, it was worth doing it first for the happiness later (Plus, you get an awesome sword for NG+). Overall, it was MUCH better than the original by a longshot. Of course, I'm not saying to avoid the original. Platinum #8: Metro: Last Light (2/11/14) [6.17% - Very Rare] Felt accomplished after getting the Shadow Ranger trophy when I thought that I wouldn't get it at the end due to using a minigun to take out the only human I could kill. I'm glad I could do everything on Easy, but I probably wouldn't mind getting the Ranger mode DLC and doing that.Metro Redux seems to now be on my list of games to get when I get a PS4. Go through Last Light again and plat the original as well. Platinum #9: DmC: Devil May Cry (2/13/14) [7.72% - Very Rare] Now I'm not much of a DMC fan. I've only played this and DMC4, so I can't judge too much. Sure, this Dante was a meh compared to the Dante everyone knows and loves, but hey, he still has some kick ass moves and weapons. Just wished there was a lock on system like in the other games. Would have made the final fight much easier, but oh well. Platinum #10: The Walking Dead (2/17/14) [52.57% - Common] Lee's badassery slicing through a horde of zombies with one arm to reach Clementine in Episode 5. PLAY THE EPIC MUSIC! Platinum #11: Resident Evil 5 (2/26/14) [19.45% - Rare] For those planning on Professional, be wise and have all infinite weapons and a lot of first aid sprays. Also, once you clear 2-3, it's all downhill from there. I stopped at the platinum, but since I have the Gold Edition, I may go back for 100% one day. Platinum #12: Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory (4/3/14) [20.51% - Uncommon] Probably my favorite of the Neptunia Series so far. Battle system was improved, you could jump ("I'm a kangaroo!" -Neptune), and I loved the Ultra dimension characters (both new and old). It was nice to see that all of the playable characters could use HDD, but would have like to see IF, Compa, and the rest of the human characters fight as well (though I got the DLC that let you use little IF, so cute!) Stay strong Neptune! Platinum #13: Remember Me (4/15/14) [12.96% - Rare] While the controls were meh on me and the end of Episode 7 was INSANE AS HELL, it wasn't that bad of a game and I liked the concept. Wish there were more remixing sequences. Liked the concept of the last one: Remixing the Remix to end the Remixing. Platinum #14: Minecraft (4/15/14) [18.56% - Rare] Did the 500m rail trophy in possibly the easiest way possible. Found a glitch from youtube and used it. How easy it was is why I don't offer help for that trophy. That aside, I enjoy minecraft, both Survival and Creative (Wish they brought in Hardcore). Owned Minecraft on the Mac/PC, yet this was actually the first time that I completely "beat" the game. I think it was the trophies. Any objections? Platinum #15: Gravity Rush (4/24/14) [17.33% - Rare] Great game as an introduction to the PlayStation Vita. Highly recommended for those who are considering getting a Vita. The controls, while seemingly difficult, were easy to adapt to. The challenges weren't that hard either, but they still offered a way to utilize the Vita well. Just gotta wish more games were like this. Platinum #16: Lone Survivor (5/1/14) [5.49% - Very Rare] Scariest shit I have ever played in a LONG time. Easy and entertaining plat, but still had some scary moments. That tunnel at the beginning of the game? Very trippy. Platinum #17: Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 (5/14/14) [4.69% - Ultra Rare] Took the North London Team, readjusted everyone's stats so they were all 99, changed the emblem to the Team Gurren UK flag, and called it the Gamindustri team. Then teams were switched around for leagues and thus, the Planeptune, Lastation, Lowee, and Leanbox teams came to be (although they never played against each other). And then Belgium won the 2018 World Cup.The End Platinum #18: Fallout 3 (5/26/14) [16.90% - Rare] So I ended up making my character a (if I recall) pink mohawk haired neutral karma black guy, whom I named "My Onii-chan." He spent days out in the wasteland doing nothing but quests and killing people and more quests. He eventually found his dad and did the whole "sacrifice yourself to save to rest of the wasteland" thing... but that really wasn't until the end because, hey, it's Fallout 3. Platinum #19: ROBOTICS;NOTES (7/4/14) [56.99% - Common] Huh, currently my only common rated plat. I had not much of an idea of what went on at around the second half of the game (that's when I stopped watching the anime), so I had two main highlights from playing this game. First was the music for the main menu, which is so calming that you could easily fall asleep to it. The second was a scene near the end of the game which made me go "ABOUT DAMN TIME!!" Platinum #20: Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection (8/2/14) [15.31% - Rare] While I highly procrastinated on this one, mainly because of Japan, as a Neptunia fan, I found this game to be not about a group a goddesses training to be idols so they can get their shares back from a group that resembles a monster version of AKB48. I found this to be a game that let me get to know the goddesses on a more, would you say, "personal" level? It is with these routes that I describe (in the order I played) what made me love these characters even more:Vert: Already knew that Vert was a huge gaming fanatic. While she didn't have any younger siblings herself, Vert is much of a nice older sister type - one of those siblings that you would consider more of a friend than your other friends. We played games together, up to the point where it was like we spent endless nights doing only gaming. She was also one of those types that had good morals... even if they seemed only related to gaming. Upon leaving Gamindustri, we still got together every now and then in a party in Four Goddesses Online.Blanc: While I said that Vert was more of an older sister type, Blanc on the other hand, was more of if I had an identical twin (personality wise of course as I'm male). Calm, quiet, and nice (unless you get her pissed), I found her doing things that I would have done myself years ago or even now. Of course, her liking of books and her Japanese-like background makes her a different person than myself but even so, I do see me in her. I felt graceful for the charm that I bought for her - which was a "safe driving" charm that probably saved my life - and the one she got for me. I still hold on to that charm even to this day. Also, I would love to have Ram as a little sister.Noire: I initially did not like Noire at all as she was so damn forceful on me for such a level of perfection. Hell, she even demoted me from Producer to Manager, which nearly made me say "Screw it, I'm done!" and just leave her to what may had been her downfall as an idol. But considering that rewards may come from hard work, I just sucked it up and just worked. I didn't really like her until she (in which I felt like it was forced) opened up a bit, especially on the cosplay part. That was when I knew that I had to get to know her. I even got along with her little sister Uni. Time passed and the more I worked better with Noire, the more she seemed to like me, which must have been the reason why I got my first kiss from her right before I had to leave.Neptune: My buddy, Neptune made me see my life a lot differently. While she was quite the lazy one, she was also the friendliest of them all. We played, napped, ate, fought monsters - both real and fake, and nearly just about everything together (Of course, we never bathed together, but she DID call it happening saying that it had to happen since I was the protagonist). Nothing could get through her cheerful and loving personality, not even the fourth wall! And even more, she is the one I love the most. We still - Hold on, I think I'm hearing someone calling me. "What, is it time already? Okay, I'll be there in a minute!" Sorry, that was Neptune calling me. We're going to see my our high school football team's first home game. Gotta go! Platinum #21: Dead Space (8/20/14) [19.93% - Rare] One of my easier platinums, this may just simply be because of how many times I went through this game before. Although then I didn't to the One Gun run, nor did I ever play through the game on impossible mode (thank you cheat codes for infinite stasis and money duplicating glitches by the way). Of course, some things never change for me. Even now Dead Space's ending still scares the shit out of me. Even at chapter 6 of Dead Space 2, Nicole doesn't freak me out as much as the scare at the end of the original. Platinum #22: Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (9/5/14) [17.80% Rare] Like The Walking Dead, this was one of those platinums that I didn't go back to for a while. Though, unlike the former, this one was because of the lack of a PS+ subscription.Anyways, for the first game in the Sly series that I played (That seems to be a common theme with a lot of series I've played here isn't it?), I liked it. Sure, I had to get used to the whole stealth platformer type for a game, but the game was enjoyable, the platinum was easy, and the fact that the Vita version counts as a separate game, I could do it all over again for another platinum!Found it too enjoyable to do the whole cross-save thing and get the instant platinum. Just throwing it out there. Platinum #23: PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale (9/9/14) [16.75% Rare] With all honesty, I believe that they put this on PS+ this month to bring in some hype for the new Smash Bros, but that's just me. On the topic, I didn't really find this game much of a SSB clone at all, especially when looking at the gameplay mechanics. Nonetheless, they were quick to understand and it wasn't difficult, more time consuming if you ask me, to get the platinum. Looking at the arcade for this one.The online trophies weren't much of a bother either as the only one that really took much time was the "This is Living" trophy, which requires you to win an online match and not die. The boosting group I was in spent quite some time with everyone getting it, though it was fun while we were doing it. (Special thanks to DarkPirate2007, draakon50, and BuBBeRX for the great session!) Platinum #24: inFamous 2 (9/25/14) [22.65% Uncommon] Oh, I was so glad that I finally went and got this to play and platinum. As the first of my birthday games to play, I made a good choice to start with this one.Now onto the game itself. I felt that the game made many improvements from the first one, such as skill customization and the ability that made collecting the blast shards SO MUCH EASIER(!). I actually liked that the regular lightning bolts drained your electricity as it gave a slight bit more challenge to the game, especially on hard. Of course, there were a few things that I did not like. The polarity shield only returned if you had positive karma (or if you beat the game twice) and the antagonist reveal I felt came too suddenly as well as a bit too late in the story compared to how Kessler showed up in the first game.Other than that, I enjoyed the game, and I can't wait to play Second Son when I get a PS4. Platinum #25: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 (10/4/14) [15.25% - Rare] Alright, going to straight up say that the remake was MUCH better than the original. I completely liked that this was a redone version of the original and not a mere port. It was also great that they brought in the CPU Candidates as unlockables (great to see Nepgear again!) Re;Birth1 also featured quite a number of references to the previous games (including one to the ever still traumatic Conquest Ending - seriously, they even say that it gave people trauma) and for anyone who knows a bit on Fairy Fencer F (which I will get), they have Fairy Fencer F related DLC that gives a kick ass weapon for Neptune. There was only one thing that I did not enjoy about this game's platinum and not the game itself: the 100 million credit trophy. For those who want to get this trophy fast, the game requires you to pay about $3.00, which isn't that much, but still, paying to get an insane grind of a trophy faster is a pain.Nevertheless, I still enjoyed this game to the fullest, and I obviously can't wait for Re;Birth2. Of course, I still have to platinum the JP version of Hyperdevotion Noire first. I'm also planning on getting the NA version of that game as well. Platinum #26: Heavy Rain (10/8/14) [17.03% - Rare] This one was a fun one to play. While I was going for trophies on my first run, I did try my best to play how I wanted to play through the game. Which, for once, was good guys prevail over evil. Then those endings, that's when I went crazy (in a good way). Then I ended the game with the "Perfect Crime" trophy.Pretty easy platinum if you ask me. Even the "Kamikaze" trophy wasn't that difficult (especially since I was playing that on easy). Nothing else to say here except...SHAUN!!!!! Platinum #27: Zone of the Enders HD (10/10/14) [13.22% - Rare] This was also another one of those random games that I picked up just because. I knew about this game before buying it though. Game by Kojima, part of an HD collection, just never felt anything about playing it.Then I played it. Glad I did, because this was a really fun game. Ended up starting the first run on hard, since playing on hard or higher was the only way to grab an A rank, required for the platinum. Let me tell you, despite how fun this game was, it still pissed me off at points (talking to you squad of level 4s Mummyheads). Then after taking breaks, I learned how to deal with these points...and then the game got a BIT easier.Only thing that I recommend is that you should save the all rescue missions A rank trophy for last, as doing rescue mission #2 on Hard difficulty seems to be nearly impossible. Just saying, do that specific trophy on easy, but remember to get A's on the other 4 missions on hard. BTW, 2nd Runner will be on my wish list. Platinum #28: South Park: The Stick of Truth (10/11/14) [17.93% - Rare] Three words: FUNNY AS HELL.Played this game out primarily as Fighter 雅子 (Masako who was later named Fighter Douchebag by Cartman), Jersey skinned, and male(?). Ended with the ending fighter clothes, except I had the makeover hair I had and regular glasses. With the Sweet Katana and a major user of the Bull Run and Roshambo abilities, as well as the Nagasaki.Sided with Cartman, then turned on him, found Jesus and Mr. Hankey by accident, didn't use any party member except Butters and Stan, and I killed Kenny. A lot. Especially when I was the Hoff while having Dire Aids, THAT was the funny one.Oh, and I got all thirty Chinpokomon, but I don't think taking down the US government will do any good for me as they're not bothering me down in Hell. Platinum #29: Minecraft (PlayStation Vita Edition) (Oct. 18) [8.47% - Very Rare] Simple one. Had the PS3 version by the time it came out, so I got it for free. It was basically the same as last time with the exception of the trophies that they added (which were taken from the PS4 version). Although, my saves kept getting corrupted and even if I got to save and load it back up, the inventory was locked in to a specific set, so I had to keep the game constantly going...and not die. Platinum #30: Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (Vita) (Nov. 23, 2014) [12.97% - Rare] See the plat for the PS3 version for more details. Auto-popped this one. Platinum #31: Time and Eternity (Dec. 4, 2014) [10.29% - Rare] One of the two games that I got from the...Heroine Sale, or something like that. As I've heard, this was one of those love it or hate it games. Liked it. The anime styled graphics were quite unique and I didn't find it that annoying when placed with the 3D backgrounds. I did find the battle system to be WAY too easy however, and I only managed to die once (which was only because I was underleved rushing through the game on NG+). Renamed Zack (or was it Zach?) to "ThatGuy" by the way. He was the only character I didn't like. Enjoyable game though. Platinum #32: Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (Dec. 31, 2014) [5.96% - Very Rare] Alright, I'm going to say it right here: I'm a Call of Duty player. Deal with it. That aside, this was probably my favorite campaign of the series that I've played (haven't played all of them). Enjoyed the change in setting to a not too far futuristic approach, which was one of the main reasons that I liked Black Ops II a lot. The trophy list was also a bit of a refresher as the list was similar to CoD 4's achievement list. It was also the first CoD game where I did my first playthrough on Veteran difficulty. Didn't have much difficulty other than the third and the third to last levels (Actually managed to do the mission after the Golden Gate was blown up without dying at all). On the terms of Exo Survival, also enjoyable. Managed to flip the map at least once on my own, but it was with a partner that the second flip was possible. And very fun. The only thing I didn't like was how much grinding was needed to unlock the higher tiers (play 100 rounds just for Riot?) And the zombies? I didn't see any World War Z from that cutscene. Just zombies using Exos. Platinum #33: Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut (Jan 11, 2015) [14.38% - Rare] Platinum #34: Frozen Synapse Prime (Jan 22, 2015) [2.61% - Ultra Rare] Platinum #35: Prototype 2 (Jan. 28, 2015) [30.13% - Uncommon] Platinum #36: Okami HD (Feb. 7, 2015) [14.21% - Rare] Platinum #37: Puppeteer (Feb. 16, 2015) [4.97% - Ultra Rare] Platinum #38: Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments (March 6, 2015) [25.10% - Uncommon] Edited March 7, 2015 by BlueFireReaper

Vacio_Luna
Excellent list so far and a great idea that is with the list of games you can't/have yet to platinum. Good work and good luck on your plats in the future.
BlueFireReaper
What is hard about the Portal 2 online? Anyways good start so far After notice, I decided to place this in the Haven't Got area. The trophy that I worry about is the one in which you have to play online with someone who has never played the co-op before.
Dr_Mayus
Well that isn't so hard, just boost with someone else that needs it, then after you two beat the game ask him/her to make an ALT account and replay the opening together Also you need to play the online so you can hear the best dance song EVAR Edited February 4, 2014 by Dr_Mayus
flashpool23
Nice job so far! But fair warning though. For Madden 12, in most cases, getting money for a gold pack will only get you to 79 overall not 80. So you might have to play it a bit. BTW: We happen to have the same number of platinums! Ichiban-Hybrid
Well Velocity Ultra isnt that too hard just both easy & hard at the same time, but Dyad I can understand. Freaking bright lights just makes it a real pain.. good work though.

Altough the whole event/100% thing is really confusing at times... Thanks on that! On the topic of HNPP, there is a specific set of events for the goddesses, but all four are similar in the numbers in each category. If you're not planning on not using a guide, I'd suggest you look up an event checklist.
