alasNotRed Posted April 28, 2023 Share Posted April 28, 2023 Hey everyone, I'm so glad I found this forum. I bought "Rooten" 3 days ago and now I'm facing the sync error. And there is no way to get rid of it so it seems. Now I have 2 questions: First, will all the other games trophies still be synchronized correctly? Because in generell I receive an other error (the "big error NP-32091-5") once a year and then I'll nevertheless have to erase my whole profile (happened more than 4 times during the last 4 years, so that's for sure). So I wonder, will every trophy from every other game that I receive untill then be erased because none of them had synchronized because of "Rooten"? Or does this error only imply that the trophies for "Rooten" don't synchronize correctly and all the other games trophies still work fine? Second, right now I'm thinking about saving all my save data, screenshots, etc. and to erase my whole profile to get rid of "Rooten" and this trophy error 32136-5. But, does that really help? Because I thought "Rooten" and its trophies are somehow corrupted and when I erase my profile the not-synchronized trophy data should be erased with it. Is that correct? I would be happy if someone could answer my questions. I've read that the dev of "Rooten" has already been contacted, but because the error is still there I doubt that something will happen. Greetings from Germany (sorry for my bad Englisch) and let me know if this is the wrong place for this questions (I'm new^^) 1: Yes, though sometimes this error can mean a corrupted user profile, in which case you have to nuke it to fix the problem but in this specific case, it's the game that's at fault for not having a syncing trophy list. 2: Nuking your profile means losing everything that isn't bolted down i.e. messages, screenshots, all unsynced trophies, all of your saves, any and all system notifications, plus your internet and system settings but all your games will remain intact so you won't have to reinstall anything. Make sure to backup all of your saves before hitting the Delete button on your profile, else you will be in a world of hurt later on. Myself and others have tried and failed multiple times to get this list to sync but all attempts at contacting the relevant parties have been ignored so don't expect this problem to be fixed anytime soon .
