DLC only redeemable through code flyers

The reason for this thread is to list DLC which is not in the store and only available if you redeem it by entering a code from a sheet (or a digital version). Also added pre-order (phyiscal or digital) exclusive Dlcs and designs/ Icons. This is focussed on PS4/5 and does not include most ULC directly unlocked through websites (Dying Light (2), Twitch Prime promotions and drops etc). Also excluded are items like in-game currency and those which can be unlocked through gameplay (looking at you Spiderman) and DLC which is available through Digital Deluxe, digital GOTY, Ultimate and so on editions that are available to purchase digitally.

you are correct, I didnt even think about that  I guess that counts as clickbait, so I dont mind. Although maybe there even is DLC from a flyer that has trophies and is not available for purchase, I dont know

No Man's Sky got an item and theme pack at launch but it has never been made available to those who didn't pre-order the game. Whilst 99% of the pre-bonus items for Aliens: Colonial Marines were eventually added to the PS Store, there is 1 that hasn't seen the light of day since launch but I don't remember exactly what it was.

 

Borderlands 2 has also several code only item packs over the years, that were only obtainable via magazines and certain strictly limited edition releases of the games but at least some of them just gave you easier early access to items that are already in the game and farmable during the endgame.

From what I can remember:

 

- Final Fantasy XV had the Masamune DLC

- PES 2016 to 2018 had codes with coins and a player in loan for the online mode.

- Minecraft in PS3 had a code for the Vita version (impossible to claim nowadays).

- Assassin's Creed Syndicate and ACIII had some PS exclusive missions which I'm not sure were ever available on the store.

Wow, I was sure the sony originals' pre order dlc would stay exclusive, what a nice surprise!

Masamune is included with Royal edition. 

Are the PES codes' contents available through regular play? If the codes only include for example bonus currency or an early unlock I wont include them.

Minecraft Vita is available physically. Although now that I have a vita im bummed out I never redeemed the code from my copy lol

Syndicate has the Dreadful Crimes DLC, available for sale in the store, 3 had the Benedict Arnold DLC, which is being sold too.

Quantum Theory on the PS3 had a pre-order dlc bonus for a weapon in the multiplayer mode, that was never made available on the store. It is also insanely OP

Tecmo Koei today announced the preorder bonus for its upcoming shooter Quantum Theory. Players who reserve the game at GameStop get access to a pair of characters and a weapon for use in the game's online multiplayer.

"Before the Diablosis – the living material infecting the tower and the populace -- Shiranui Heavy Industries and Murakumo Inc. set out to protect the world. The two private security firms were notorious for both their technology and their ruthlessness. Use these two exclusive pre-Lost Age characters (Shiranui Merc & Murakumo Merc) and exclusive SHURA-KZ28 weapon in online matches."

Kinda crazy that THAT game had not only multiplayer but also pre order rewards. Poor day 1 buyers!

Alpha Protocol had a retail only code through Best Buy for the "Stealth Weapon Pack" which was beyond awesome. 

 

Tom Clancy GR Future Soldier signature edition (Gamestop only) had a code for a Gamestop Gorilla map, where you fought your waves of foes outside of a Gamestop store, which was actually kinda cool.
