Popular Post Buff_Cupcake
Update 1: I clearly didn't research Dying Light 2 enough because it still looks like there are some bugs with the trophies which prevent a platinum. I could commit to it, but I can't say with 100% certainty that trophy tracking might break, or an asset needed for a trophy might bug out and lock me out of the platinum. So I'm going to use a swap right out of the starting gate and swap it for Destiny 2. I picked it up with the new Lightfall expansion and I'm loving it. At the moment i'm working on bringing my gear score up to the current level cap to be able to take care of some of the more difficult trophies. Once i've done that it'll be a game I work in in the background while chipping away at everything else in the list. I had to replay them twice because I forgot that you have to go to the end story and do the entire story over again for the Minikit and True Villain status trophies to stick. Just like in Marvel Super Heroes 2. ? I also had to complete the five 'bonus story' levels that appear after you complete the main story which involve you finding their entrances in Apokalips. Also annoying because they decided to randomize what Red Brick you get in levels and the early four levels give the crappy novelty red bricks like Big Head Mode. You don't get 2x Studs until Level 8 and you don't get 4x Studs until the final main story level! WTF, TT? ? Anyways, I did get all but the x10 Stud multiplier so I'll just unlock that brick to get my studs up to 50 mill to buy x8. (Yes, it's those prices again, where the high stud multipliers cost tens of millions of studs. At least being forced to redo the DLC levels gave me a ton of studs from the x48 I got from the Red Bricks I had.) Then I will log out and sleep. I go to prayer tomorrow evening and I have to get myself ready for the Florida trip in ten days. I also have to be in interview for two hours with the Medicare company on the 15th to decide if I am worthy of keeping my medical insurance so I am offline from 9 to 11 then. JOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY. I'll platinum this LEGO game before that dread interview, I promise. Then I'll plan out what I am going to start grinding hardcore in the RPG department before my Hogwarts adventure. Probably WoFF because I need to start over anyways as I forgot what chests I had opened and you have to open EVERY chest, so if you miss you, you're screwed. Congrats on platting this LEGO game, beerwego. EDIT: Got two miscellaneous trophies for having two Batman villains in the Bat Cave and riding all the rights, which forced me to 100% the amusement park hub area as I stumbled into the first hub boss(Killer Croc) by accident while doing the damn gliding races. I had to cheat on most of them by switching to Static Shock!(my secondary custom hero, has flight and electric attacks, I'm sure people will get the reference ) to fly through the rings because how the (bleep) do they expect you to master Batman's glide so he flies?! ? But the last one in the park was doable by gliding... and I glided right into Killer Croc's arena. Oof. My Hat Kid(I revamped Princiris to look more like the A Hat In Time character as I am practicing that game for later when I have to plat it, she uses a carrot to simulate an umbrella, why can't there be an umbrella, Penguin could be considered Hat Kid's father because they both have hats and umbrellas!) managed to take down the croc and it's funny that every time you beat a boss, most of the time it snaps a photo of you teabaging the boss with your buttocks. I've gotten most of the races but the game says I only 70% of them, so I am assuming the rest unlock from quests. *SIGH* Edited March 11, 2023 by Taruta13

I managed with a really good collectable guide, and a very cautious approach of saving, backing up saves etc. With some trophies I left the console on overnight as I wasn't sure if the tracking carried over from seperate gaming sessions. In all it was a negative trophy hunting experience that detracted from the enjoyment of the game overall. I was lucky and had no issues with the platinum though there was a bugged icon on my map that made me think a collectable didn't register and it could easily have gone the other way :'(

I'm at 71.6% now, but I have all True Villain stud challenges, all graffiti selifes in the levels, and all minikits. I just need to clear the hubs of every quest, gold brick and collectible, including a ton of races. (I have 70% of the normal hub races and 1/3 of the Apokolips races.) If I burn the midnight oil, I can get the platinum before 3 AM and can get some sleep for grocery shopping tomorrow and prepping snacks for the long plane trip to Florida in 9 days. Still considering swaps for both Minecrafts, though I will try to plat the PS4 version as there are trophy worlds I can visit to do all of the remaining trophies. However, I do have to stay in a world for 100 days, so even on Peaceful Mode that is keeping the game on for 33 hours, which my PS4 might not handle as it overheats quickly. The Vita version is iffy unless someone knows a good world seed which lets me do everything except the 100 days trophy without dying too often since I can't activate cheats to keep from losing items when I die or the game is invalidated. I do have plans to restart Disgaea 4 Complete+ and World of Final Fantasy. The former because I want to follow a speedrunner's notes to get through the grind. (I was attempting a solo mage challenge but realized that was slow and stupid.) The latter because I forgot which chests I had picked up. Both are not too far in so it's not a big loss. Didn't like it as much as the other three (which I've played on PS3). Required lots of rewinding and save states. Luckily, that was an option. Forgot to eat dinner, so plan on fixing that shortly. Rello-Evante
Hey all, quick question cause for some reason my brain's not computing this. What's the policy about adding games to the list? Can we continuously add games to the maximum of 25? On a whim, I decided to start Miles Morales cause I was itching for it and it's been staring at me for so long. Didn't want to use a swap for the challenge JUS do endT yet. If I don't add it in currently, could i retroactively swap it for another 'backlog' game I had completed that wasn't listed in the initial challenge list? Otherwise I'd just add it in as another game and start tracking the progress for that as well

I managed to plat LEGO DC Super Villains just 15 minutes before midnight despite having to go to the grocery store AND church, and now I am more free to rest until my trip in a week. My review: I enjoyed the story and fact that a custom character was a major player, but seriously, the post-game has issues. I couldn't find certain characters because they were hidden or didn't spawn immediately, requiring me to fly to another map to respawn everything, and I softlocked several times because two cutscenes played at once and a character was trapped in a cutscene and couldn't make it to the second and thus I couldn't get out of the scene and get my gold brick, forcing me to exit the game. One small mercy: I avoided doing a hideous puzzle in the Apokolips hub involving a speed cage challenge because my secondary character(who was Poison Ivy at the time) glitched into the cage and was able to grab the gold brick without opening the door! I bought the LEGO Ninjago Movie game, but I might delete it off my library if it's as bad as this title error-wise. ? NOTE: I think that LEGO DC Super Villains asks this question: What if we took Infamous Second Son and made it kid-friendly, put it in the DC Universe, and kid-friendly the Forever Evil arc of Earth-3 DC Comics and throw in parts of DC Super Heroes Animated for epicness? Yes, you can choose to be good or evil at the end but it's not that big a deal. All in all, it's a fun game and gives the villains their own story. The heroes return but only at the end. Some of the scenes were really interesting. I have two LEGO Vita games to rush through for two swift platinums(LEGO Vita titles are way smaller and have very short levels due to them being 3DS ports) and then I can take a break. I probably won't touch anything(except maybe try to attempt to get the rest of the Minecraft platinum trophy list on PS4) until my vacation. Still need to check in on the hotel to see if they will let me connect my PS5 to their TV. Edited March 13, 2023 by Taruta13
Popular Post Vulpine9Tails
Surprise update today: 23. Chronos Before the Ashes 0% -> 82% I was not even planning on playing this today but decided I wanted to give it a go after staring blankly at my list and humming and hawing for an unacceptable amount of time. I remember starting it up on my old account thinking it was going to be difficult. Well I beat the whole game on the easiest difficulty today and now just need to beat it on the hardest. It is the definition of janky but I still found it alright. I don't really know why I liked Remnant from the Ashes so much as the world is kinda terrible tbh (this is the prequel to that game fyi), but I'm still excited to go for the platinum in that all over again after this challenge is done, especially after hearing a sequel is in the making.

I also kept playing Samurai Maiden (ca. halfway through my first story playthrough) and survived the cringe/edginess of the DmC main story (first playthrough done). But the most of my gaming time this last week went into AW vs. SAO. I finished all there is in terms of story (main story and postgame) and get a part of the grinding out of the way (got 57 out of 100 titles, got one AW character skill up to level 450 out of 500, leveld my smithing skill to level 9 out of 10, and set up one character for the money and BP grind that will make up a big chunk of my remaining play time with this game).

(I do intend to work on Minecraft but not now, not when I have several RPGs tapping their foot at the door for me to let in.) So I burnt most of my swaps to get rid of them. I'm swapping both Minecrafts for two easy LEGO games, the OP LEGO Vita titles(LEGO Legends of Chima and LEGO Ninjago Shadow of Ronin) as an incentive to get them off my backlog. I was going to play these titles on the plane but these two games are so stupidly simple to earn trophies in that LEGO Legends of Chima is dangerously close to the 34% that DQ's it from entry. I'll find more stuff to put on my Vita since I have over 900 dollars in my bank account(200 of that is going to meals at the hotel and snacks and souvenirs from the park but I tend to budget my money well, that's the benes for not playing MMOs ). Sleep? I don't know what that is. Edited March 13, 2023 by Taruta13

Popular Post freddie1989
Weekly update albeit I don't have much to report!! Made a start on Stray last night for 20 minutes or so. Not my typical sort of game but I saw the popularity on release and thought I would get a piece as it is free on Extra. Enjoying what I have played so far with it. The concept is original (at least for me) and the environment looks good so we shall see over the next few days. Most of the last week I have spent outside the challenge on Spiderman still. Finished the 3rd DLC off which rounds out the story nicely. Not quite on par with the main game but DLC never is. Then did my NG+ playthrough on Ultimate difficulty which I have to say was no harder than it was on the lower difficulty (died a couple of times when my newborn kicked the control from my hand LOL). The next week will be finish up Stray and try and get back to some of the grind on Lego DC Happy hunting people! From what I know, there are some situations where the game could accidentally softlock because characters get knocked out of a scene and can't reach the place in time, meaning the game can't continue. Also, some characters don't spawn so you have to leave the area and re-enter. Overall, though, it wasn't too bad. Good luck with Stray. Despite being a cat lover, I am probably too scared of this game probably due to the Can't Cat-ch me trophy. I'm not very good at avoid enemies. For the record, before my trip in few days(already packed my PS5 in a backpack so I won't be playing it until I come back), I will probably focus on trying to redo the Disgaea 4 Complete+ run following Green Z-Saber's notes. Either that or WoFF. Have some games on the side to occupy me as well and need to add more games to the Vita for the boring plane trip, maybe LEGO Batman 2. I am not sure if the constant meow coming from the controller will freak the dog out though, she is too big to sit on me!!
