Heather342 Posted February 8, 2023 Share Posted February 8, 2023 You need to set up a device password on the PlayStation website for your PS3. BeautifulTorment Posted February 8, 2023 Share Posted February 8, 2023 One very important thing to keep in mind is that this feature is incredibly buggy. You must turn on 2-factor authentication for it to work properly. Even if 2-factor authentication appears to be working (i.e., you are receiving the text messages), your temporary password for a ps3 will still usually fail if your 2-factor authentication is set to "disabled" in your account settings. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I tried to recover my JP account, same issue as Jinxcendant-XIII's. Before i passed the 2 Step verification several times without any problem.
