ALL Riot Mode Trophies in 1 hour - Full Text and Video Guide

RIOT MODE

 

 

 

Roadmap

This strategy basically revolves around using infinite ammo and infinite health injectors along with killing all enemies in 2 shots or less which is how we get through everything so fast!

 

– Step 1 –

• Stay in the start area after leaving the spawn room and get up to Wave 6 without spending any credits for the trophy below.

• TROPHY - Hoard Mode - Survive five consecutive waves without spending any Credits.

• Then keep killing enemies until you have over 27,000 score (don't confuse with credits) and then die for the trophy below and to unlock the perks ready for the next step.

• TROPHY - Instigator - Complete Riot Mode for the first time.

 

– Step 2 –

• Start again and activate the following perks in the spawn room. You can only have 3 active per game.

  • Gain 1 ammo on kill with a shotgun.

  • Dismember has a 20% chance to return ammo.

  • Gain ammo on any purchase.

• Now leave, head left into the big room and go up the ramp ahead. Take the first right at the top of the ramp and follow this to the fan room. You will stay in this fan room for the remainder of the waves. Buy a Health Injector (200cc to begin with and increases by 150cc every 5 waves) from the wall in this room on every wave and head to the Riot Gun upgrade chest in the next room and buy the 4 upgrades whenever you have enough credits.

  • Upgrade 1 - 1500cc.

  • Upgrade 2 - 2400cc.

  • Upgrade 3 - 3250cc.

  • Upgrade 4 - 4200cc.

• As you go up the Waves using the Riot Gun to kill everything quickly, use Rampage mode when you can but try to have it ready for Two-Head waves, refer to the wave enemy list below. Be sure you kill the first Two-Head by a trap, you can just bait its attacks until it steps back into a nearby fan.

• The rest of the trophies should come naturally following this strategy

• TROPHY - Big Spender - Spend 20,000 Credits.

• TROPHY - I am the Danger - Dismember 100 limbs in Riot Mode.

• TROPHY - Bear Trap - Kill a Two-Head with a Hazard.

• TROPHY - Subject Alpha - Use the Power-up 10 times.

• TROPHY - Big Game Hunter - Complete Wave 50.

Sorry mate but I dont know, I have a PS4 version but didnt care to test out the autopop properly.

 

From what little I did see, its not an autopop, kinda like Greedfall which I did make an autopop guide for (well savepop) where you must complete the condition again. But if you have a save just before completing the condition, you can pop it really quick.

 

I know the Collectible trophy for the main game will autopop if you load a save with all collectibles in your inventory. Thats the only 1 i think though.

 

I bet for the trophy for knocking 2-head into a fan in Riot Mode, I bet that would need doing again. Though for the trophy such as reach wave 50, because you already have that scored saved in high scores, that may pop just from dying on wave 1, cant say for sure though. 

 

Sorry dont have more info mate, just didnt really have the patience to go through everything again on PS4 to test

Autopop for riot mode trophies on PS4 didn't work when I tried it. Seems the Riot save does not get shared via the built-in cloud saves. For example, all the start room perks were disabled on PS4 for me despite being unlocked on PS5

Managed to get all expect the, "Activate Rampage Mode 10 times" trophy, on my first actual attempt. Will say, however, that the Riot Shotgun is an absolute beast of a weapon maxed out. So long as you play it smart and you stay between rooms w/health packs, you're golden; oh and max out the Stun Baton as fast as possible as it destroys practically everything easy.

Great guide Optinooby! I appreciate you listing all the monsters in each wave so I could prepare for the more dangerous ones. This DLC was actually quite a pleasant surprise, I had a lot of fun with it.

Killing Two Head with the fan didn't pop the trophy for me, had to use a gate fuse on a spike trap. Basically, get him to his knees between two spike traps and then insert gate fuse to sandwich it immediately.

This was so much fun.. followed Optinooby’s great guide.. it was bang on.. I did get bored of staying in the one room though so by the time I was done had the fully upgraded riot gun, baton and grip.. finally quit when I hit over 1,000,000 points on level 55

The fan kill didn't worked for me either. I used a fuse and when he was walking towards me boom, sandwich.
